Oh, wait, there's another question I missed. My rival? There is a particular slave manager that works the slave auction called Silent Sam. No idea why he's called that because he generally can't shut up. The guy seems determined to bring Pip in and she's threatened him with her Ticklers more than once. Thankfully he doesn't quite have the ability to bring her in with his own few men. And his bosses refuse to give him more since Pip keeps sending the men he has sent to snatch her back in various states of... disassembly, let's say.

I came here to disappear. The slave trackers from Cheliax who had my trail were unusually persistent, but not even the best tracker can guarantee a sack in this town, especially when your quarry is desperate enough to use the Duskway. I stay because I have no place else to go. I don't fear the trackers anymore. I've been lost for a long time now. As for our first adventure? The trip in through the Duskway?

Pip is a creature of extremes. She's as quick to laugh as she is to tear your face off and rarely sits in the middle of those two extremes. She has brilliant green hair (though it's a little on the dark side) and brown, calloused skin. Her armored leather gloves wrapped in barbed wire (her "Ticklers") hang beside her in a protective pouch making tearing people's face off more of a reality than hyperbole.

Pip knew Chipluck was in trouble the second he set foot in the dive that barely passed as a tavern known as the Whale's Tale, or the Anus as its vertical whale trail sign had an unfortunate hole blasted in it in just the right place a few years back and the connection was unavoidable. The drinks tasted like crap to boot, but out was cheap so...

Ok, for me so far: Chipluck owes me their life, whether they admit it or not. Sounds like you get into trouble and I pull you out. I have sworn to protect Haleck perhaps because of that debt. I worry about the ability of Silas to survive because his "talk first" attitude is likely to get him mugged. I don't trust the guy, is true, but I don't want t to see him bleed out in a back alley either. Ageor is soft, but I will make them hard like me. Because wrestling a bear sounds fun!

Quote: Hey Pip! You think you might work for "X has insulted my deity?" Looking at your sheet I noticed you follow Gorum, and Dahlia probably would be wary of someone so eager for war, since war disrupts peaceful civilizations. Plus, considering that due to its Lawful Neutralness, the church of Abadar tolerates slavery in places like Cheliax and Kaer Maga, it'd be easy to see why Pip might think Dahlia's god is full of it and let her know to her face. Sounds good to me!

Pip is from Cheliax. Her story could easily include a slavery escape. Chip: that's right! When one no longer applies to the named person then you resolve it for one xp and make a new once. Inter-party relations are actually backed into the mechanics!

Hi Everyone! Isn't this is exciting! I'm on the same page as the DM. I love this system for PbP for all the reasons alluded to above. Ok, what kind of campaign? That's a tough question. Let's start with, does anyone have any strong behind on this? Because I don't. I'd like to be the good guys, but I can work well with even that.
Halfling Imp. Fighter 1 | HP 23/23 |Armor:1 | XP:0 | Str:16(+2) Dex:11(+0) Con:13(+1) Int:9(0) Wis:8(-1) Cha: 15(+1)
Ok guys, I'm gonna stick a fork in this one and call it done. I appreciate you accepting me into this game, GM wu. This was my first PbP and I'm sad to see it go, but no posts for a month is just too slow for me. If you could remove me from the players tab list I'd appreciate it.

I got Anna! Pip says. She dances forward and casts. A golden glow surrounds her hand and she touches Anna's shoulder. Rise and shine, girlie. There's killing to do! Cure Light: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Pip's spell completes and an eagle appears behind the big Orc. (K14) It glares at the orc (smite) and attacks with beak and talon!
She then prepares to cast on the big orc, as soon as he appears.

Don't forget that Bless is active Pip decides that these orcs need more than one front on which to fight. She begins a spell to summon a creature to aid them. Begin casting Summon Monster I

Pip lowers her crossbow, but doesn't unload it. She doesn't trust the females, but can't bring hersf to shoot them either. Besides, it would be best to save the bolts for Mr. Boss-Orc.

Pip says in a low voice to Agromite, That was a spell called Mage Armor. It is protection against physical harm. To the Casters she says, Listen to her, Ladies. It isn't worth it...

Studied Target:
(Ex): A slayer can study an opponent he can see as a move action. The slayer then gains a +1 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks attempted against that opponent, and a +1 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against it. The DCs of slayer class abilities against that opponent increase by 1. A slayer can only maintain these bonuses against one opponent at a time; these bonuses remain in effect until either the opponent is dead or the slayer studies a new target.
If a slayer deals sneak attack damage to a target, he can study that target as an immediate action, allowing him to apply his studied target bonuses against that target (including to the normal weapon damage roll). At 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th levels, the bonuses on weapon attack and damage rolls, as well as the bonus to slayer ability DCs against a studied, target increase by 1. In addition, at each such interval, the slayer is able to maintain these bonuses against an additional studied target at the same time. The slayer may discard this connection to a studied target as a free action, allowing him to study another target in its place. At 7th level, a slayer can study an opponent as a move or swift action.
