I’m an old school gamer, having played since first ed. During those days I stayed in Greyhawk and I loved Ravenloft, and lots of other games systems but missed Planescape the first time around. Now that I’m older, I have more money and nothing new for Greyhawk to spend money on I’ve been exploring more of the other older D&D settings. I’ve since had fallen in love with Dark Sun and now the Planescape setting.
The Good;
Lots of this older info has leaked some of the 3rd ed books such as the Planar Handbook, which have some of the guilds written up as Prestige Classes and the like. But lots of the extra setting stuff is missing making these PDF’s ideal for DM’s that want to build their setting with rich detail.
The Bad;
These PDF’s are scanned really lightly and you will have to play with your printing setting if you want to get good print outs for your players, Which tends to be a must since it’s not your standard setting.
The maps are in pieces which means printing them out and taping them or putting them together in Photoshop and going to Kinko’s to print them out.
