![]() I was able to get into Adam Daigle's game of Green Blood on the Black Rock for Friday morning. It was exciting to choose some beasties for myself. I need to think of a better pirate name if I play again! My Ochre Jelly won against an owlbear but lost to the elephant that went on to take the title. Caeliat was awesome though and being an ochre jelly means it has poor decision making abilities. My saltwater merrow thought he was being clever when he grappled a hoadag, but alas, all those claws, teeth, and tail sure beat a guy up! Then I went to run demos of the Skulls and Shackles adventure card game for the next 5 slots. The card game is very fun, very easy to catch on to, and fun to demo to people. i got to meet lots of people in the process including Tanis, Vic, Brian, and Chad Brown who all worked on the card game itself! Not to mention getting pulled into playing the Rise of the Runelords Marathon every once in awhile, to help complete the table, of course! I met Lisa Stevens, Painlord, Sarah (VL from Idaho), Blazej, Preston Hudson, and a bunch of others who rotated in to play the game all weekend. I also went to the preview banquet and sat with Andrew Christiansen, Jon Dehning, Mark Moreland and his family, and friends who went to PaizoCon with me. The con was a blast, even though I didn't play any PFS. I did play a 13th Age pickup game with Ash Law, Adam Roy and his kids, Savannah Broadway, and Ben from Syrinscape. Thanks to everyone who made PaizoCon possible! ![]()
![]() Product Description wrote: Don't worry, it's not a mimic, but in Pathfinder Paws: Bestiary 2 Box you'll get almost 250 miniatures to use for your Pathfinder Roleplaying Game! In the product description above it is listed as Pathfinder Paws. Which is surely very adorable, but probably not an actual thing. ![]()
![]() Hello! I was trying to report some sessions of PFS, but after reporting one table, the next session I wanted to report has all of the spaces to report players, but the section where it has session number, scenario played, date, and GM information is all missing. The instructions are still above that section, and the players are displaying properly below. For some reason, just the middle section with GM and scenario information is blank for me. Anyway this can be resolved? It was just there a few minutes ago! ![]()

That is the plan! I am hoping to get at least 2 stars in before Gen Con, 3 if I go really crazy since having a 3rd weekly game is rapidly becoming a possibility! ![]()

![]() Hello! I am trying to GM more scenarios, and one of my main downfalls is that I am a perfectionist (with possible OCD..). I want to make sure I have everything I need and that it is PERFECT. One thing I have seen others on these boards talk about is 3D terrain. I have even seen pictures of these masterpieces on the internet. What I want to know is, how are these made? Are you using foam or items from other game systems (Warhammer, etc)? Also, do you do this for every PFS scenario you run or only special ones? How long do you generally spend making terrain? Thanks in advance (TIA) for all your help! ![]()

Hi Kelly! I had emailed you to offer to help with things awhile back, but I have not heard from you. I am still willing to help out, just let me know where you need me and what you need me to do. ![]()
![]() I vote yay, I can't think of a time when a level 7 pregen has ever been played at any of the games I have gone to, or at any of the games I have helped organize. We are playing mid to high tier levels, and everyone already has a character in those tiers. We have at least one table set aside for lower level characters and we play the level one and the level four pregens. ![]()
![]() There is a new PFS group now at Mothership Books and Games every Thursday at 7pm. October 25th will be our first get together there but it will be an option in November for sure. Their website is Mothership Books and Games and we are currently using meetup to signup for a seat and warhorn to sign up for games. We are able to play almost any scenario but are focusing on Season 0, 1, and 2 to not overlap too much with Dragon's Lair. If there is a scenario you want to play, make a request and we can see if there is a table we can switch out for it. The meetup is Mothership Pathfinder Society. Our warhorn is Here. ![]()
![]() Hello! This may be nit-picky, but I thought I would make a post one here and see if anyone else is having this issue, and if it can be fixed somehow. I went to my FLGS and played at our weekly Patfinder Society event. The event cooridinator then reported the event, but reported it incorrectly. I had played Quest for Perfection Part 1, and she reported that I had played Quest for Perfection Part III, which I had played the week before. The session report then showed an error, stating that the player had alread received credit for that scenario on X/X/X date at X event. I talked to the coordinator, and she had the Venture Captain fix the report, so it now correctly says that I played Quest for Perfection Part I on that day. Unfortunately, that did not make the error message disappear, and it still says that I had already played the scenario. I have tried to report the problem on many occassions with no response, and I have talked to the Venture Captain, who told me he has no idea what else he can do. Can someone here please help? ![]()

I had played this with the level 5 pre-gen and was told I had to apply the credit to a brand new level one character. I used the chronicle as the first chronicle for a new character and did not get any errors.. ![]()
![]() I know it has been awhile, but I also wanted to say that I really enjoyed playing this with you! I was super impressed by how prepared you were for us, it was really nice that we could move through so quickly since you had all your maps all set up. I kind of wish we could have had time to explore and do more but we just didn't have the luxury of time. It helps alot that the five of us have played together in a lot of PFS scenarios, so that we are all pretty aware of what the others can do and so we work with each other to accomplish tasks. We also take orders from each other without question, so when someone says, we should get air crystals, we all get air crystals. =) (This worked against us once when we all bought silvered weapons for a scenario that didn't actually have werewolves, but you know, it will eventually come in handy!) ![]()
![]() Steve Miller wrote: When the additional resources page is updated next, the core assumption can be changed from Seekers of Secrets to Pathfinder Society Field Guide. (Web page and PDF) I noticed that this was changed on the web but when you print out the PDF, it still lists Seeker of Secrets as part of the Core Assumption, and not the Pathfinder Field Guide. Someone will eventually get to fixing that, I'm sure... ![]()
![]() I would like to add that the player the OP mentioned at the beginning of this thread, last night, declared that he was going to eat the "still beating heart of the enemy while he was still alive" making clear that he was not waiting for the enemies to be killed in combat, but to kill them by eating them. Plus I find it strange that he does this with every enemy he kills. I would be more okay with it if he just ate the "boss" but he insists on spending time eating EVERY enemy we encounter. In my book, this person's particular actions are evil. (And I seem to end up at the same table as this guy too often.) In game, most of us just ignore him. I am not sure how the other GMs handle his character, but I think for the most part he is seeking a reaction from people and ignoring him does get him to quiet down a bit. |
