Pursnikitty summons a tiger right in front of the oncoming giant before it can take a step further. The tiger immediately begins to attack the giant.

claw 1: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
claw 2: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Rake 1: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Rake 2: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Bite: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 4) + 6 = 12

grab: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18

Pursnikitty sees that Rhon has a tough opponent and conjures a spiritual ally behind Rhon's giant to give him a flank.

spiritual ally: 1d20 + 21 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 21 + 2 = 33
damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

This causes Ralph to begin casting summon monster 6.

"Sorry laddie," the grizzled triaxian replies, "everyone here knows well enough not to try any fancy teleporting around Spurhorn, but it has been a long time since anyone actually found out what happens to people who try. I doubt even Pharamol knows... If you have some way to find out, I'm sure he would be most interested!"

You could try a knowledge arcana or history check to match what happened to Alden with commonly counter-measures against teleportation. DC 25 Arcana or 35 History.

"Thank the gods you were here. Things would have turned ugly if that siege tower had reached our walls. Our dragonkin and their riders are doing the best they can, but some of the enemy fliers are slipping past and dropping ground troops behind our walls! Even without the influx of troops from the siege tower we're having some trouble in the courtyard. Can't imagine what it'd be like if that siege tower got close!"

No sooner has he finished speaking when a deafening shout rings out in the courtyard, followed by a bright flash of lightning. One of the triaxian troopers calls out, "sir! Over by the blockhouse! They've got a mage in there. They look like they're trying to smash the door!"

The first triaxian's eyes widen, and if his face was not covered by fur you'd probably be able to see the colour drain from his cheeks. "They're trying to get to the lower levels! Most of our living quarters are below ground! We have wounded, sick and young are in there!"

He looks at your group earnestly. "If you weren't here, I'd probably go down there with my team and try to stop them, orders be damned. But we're siege engineers first, and warriors only out of necessity. If you could see to that mage, we would be of more use here. Please hurry!"

The blockhouses are the square buildings labelled B4 in the big map, and the siege engineers are looking at the one closest to you. If you go to the edge of the bastion, you can see a trixian mage and two warriors close to the nearest blockhouse. They are fighting the nearby ground troops in the courtyard and driving them away from the blockhouse.

Post what preparations you made after the hydras were defeated, and then what you want to do about this new development.

Commander Pharamol is cut off by the sound of a loud horn that is shortly joined by a chorus of a few more. The door to the meeting room flies open and hits the wall with a loud bang as a young triaxian bursts into the room.

The dialogue is in Triaxian, but your allies can translate.

"They're coming! Frost drakes coming from all sides! They've also got a siege tower approaching from the South-East!"

The old triaxian Jarilne purses her lips. "It would appear that reports of your arrival have caused a stir in the Drakelands army's ranks. Perhaps they see your arrival as a sign that we have reinforcements coming and have decided to make a bid for Spurhorn before more come?"

"Let them come!" Zusk bellows as he rises to his feet and grabs a massive maul that had been leaning against the wall behind him. "Let's go, Herjan. Pharamol! We're taking the East! Talsune, get yer ass moving as well! We're gonna crack at least a dozen skulls in Grithis' name!"

The burly triaxian mounts the dragonkin Herjan and rushes from the room, nearly knocking Nienna over with the winds created in his passing.

"For Grithis," the copper dragonkin Talsune mutters darkly as he follows close behind, conspicuously riderless.

If you can understand triaxian and make a DC25 perception check:

"More like how do we know they aren't here to sabotage our defences and assassinate our key defenders," the Triaxian identified as Thronull mutters under his breath.

You notice that whilst all the other officers have their weapons sheathed or leaning against the wall behind them, Thronull has his crossbow on the table, and that whilst the Trixian's elbows are rested casually on the table, he has used his elbow to subtly nudge the crossbow so that it is aimed a Exiel.
