Oriandor sighs, pulling out his dagger as he tries to move behind the construct. He calls out to Shamak, "Step to your north!", so he can get into prime position to deal some damage.

Just realized something... if she used the withdraw action to escape, then that means she doesn't have a move action to open doors, unless those doors were already open. Likewise, if that's the case, nothing stopping us from running out expeditiously :)

"There are a couple of other unexplored rooms, should we take a quick peek at one more before making a hasty escape?"

Think we could squeeze in 1 more room, and the room I highlighted in yellow seems like there would be little chance of encounter :)

Oriandor makes a mental note of the rooms they have been in, doing some rough calculations to himself.

"I agree with Fenrik; it looks like the room ahead will have an entrance back into the main foyer, but the room in between would likely have a secretary or someone to act as an intermediary to Sloan. Thus, prudence would say returning back the way we came would be a logical way to reduce detection... or be sneaky as it was put."

With that, Oriandor motions to lead the party out the way they came.

I think we should avoid being seen by the clerk and just exit the way we came. Considering we went through Sloan's chambers, I don't think the clerk would take it too kindly to find us coming from a meeting room if Sloan wasn't there to meet anyone :P

Oriandor sighs. "Alabastian and I cannot figure out what magical properties these items have.", the tiefling pointing to the statue, the cape, and the amulet. "However, Alabastion has detected that the stone I grabbed is a sending stone, one of a linked pair of magical communication devices. Each sending stone has two command words, one which allows its holder to hear the last message sent to the stone, and one which allows its holder to send a message to the stone’s twin."

Do I know what the command words are with my roll or will that require something like a UMD check?
