Kargen nods. "Let's take the door at the end of the hall next. That'll be in the direction of the gates. If it doesn't go through, we'll backtrack and get out of here."
Fenrik Wolfblade
|
"Agreed. Check that last door and then skeddadle if need be." Fenrik adds and then moves to the door.
Fenrik Wolfblade
|
"Go ahead Kargen, I am right behind you. Or do you want me to open it since you have your bow?'
GM Baerlie

The group moves into the short hallway and closes the door. Kargen opens the door to the right and finds a small room behind it.
Jeweler’s tools, brushes, and other devices to clean and repair fine art and ancient artifacts cover the two workbenches in this room. A small tome on one table details common techniques of ancient artists and how to identify their work. you get a +2 bonus to identify Thassilonian items
You spot a secret door in the north wall.
Oriandor Coronalis

"I'll trust your judgment; what's the worst that could happen?", Oriandor giving Kargen a knowing smile.

The secret door is locked, but Tytus picks it with ease. The door leads to a larger room.
Gleaming gold and radiant enchantments illuminate this hidden treasure room. Ancient statues from sites around Varisia stand in one corner and a ten-foot tapestry depicting a glorious island city covers the northern wall. Cabinets filled with fine garments and rack upon rack of shining armor and weapons stand on the south and east walls. Heavy ironbound chests fill the remaining empty space. A large carriage door leads north.
Tytus immediately detects another secret door in the north wall. Two secret doors and no possibility to enter the room the usual way you think you found The Bronze House's hidden vault. It holds Sloan’s gold reserves, armory, and Thassilonian relics he plans to ship out or sell. You find masterwork versions of all commonly available weapons and armor. Six flasks of alchemist’s fire rest on a shelf near the cabinets.
Layered walls of stone, wood, lead, and steel and a permanent mage’s private sanctum block any magical intrusion.
In the center of the room, a mannequin wears a barbed amulet. A scroll describing the item’s provenance is attached to the mannequin’s chest.
This amulet, named amulet of armored fists, was crafted by the
Sweettalker Udara in Kaer Maga—Rova 4683 ar. Udara retained
possession of the item for personal use until her death (natural
causes)—Abadius 4712 ar. Maiveer Sloan purchased this amulet in
Kaer Maga from Udara’s legal heir in Kaer Maga—Calistril 4712 ar.
You identify more items from the looted Thassilonian ruins.

Oriandor checks the armor and weapons for magical auras...
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20
He feels an aura, but cannot describe it.
"Hmm... it says this is Sloan's, but is it really his through purchase...", Oriandor's rogue-instincts causing him to ponder if this is something else that should be 'recovered'.

Haha the looting scenar. Feels like just wandering around and taking valuables :D
Kargen Hapspring

"Well, how about we see where the next door leads and then get out of here?" Kargen nods to the group and goes to open the next secret door.

Kargen opens the secret door in the north wall. Behind it lies the west warehouse. This warehouse holds lumber, quarried stone, and other exports. Workers stack materials or store them in crates. From the roof above you hear voices.
The workers coated the floor with salve of slipperiness to slide heavy objects easily.
You spot an out of place crate near the north wall.

Kargen steps out and looks up towards the voices. He puts his finger to his lips and motions for the others to exit. As he turns back around, he spots a crate on the north wall that seems out of place. The Hunter slowly moves towards to it to inspect it further.

Kargen and Fenrik move over to the crate, after opening it you find a crown.
You identify a delicate crown of woven silver feathers looted from the nearby Thassilonian ruins.
Fenrik Wolfblade

"Well whaddaya make of this....? Seriously I am asking I have no clue." Fenrik says to the others as the crown isn inspected.
Shamak

Knowledge (History): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 +2 if it's thassilonian from the book.
Oh! As I guess it is, Shamak can for once tell the lads what it is.
"Another thassilonian junk. A delicate crown of woven silver feathers looted from the nearby Thassilonian ruins. Cute."
Kargen Hapspring
|
Kargen nods to Oriander and Shamak. "Ok, good enough. Let's get out of here." He motions to those by the secret door for them to depart.
He tries to find a smaller crate that he can lift easily by himself to carry out. Then he moves towards the door, trying to avoid the other workers.
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Is the door to the outside open or closed?
Shamak

"Fine." grumbles the half-orc as he follows his stealthy friends.
Oriandor Coronalis
|
"I believe killing will be in poor taste; don't think the lady assigned to this mission would be happy about that, not to mention we aren't sure who would be Aspis scum worth slaying or are just simple day to day workers.", Oriandor replies. "There are a couple of other unexplored rooms, should we take a quick peek at one more before making a hasty escape?"
Think we could squeeze in 1 more room, and the room I highlighted in yellow seems like there would be little chance of encounter :)
Kargen Hapspring
|
"I think we're gotten all the evidence we need, but that room is back on our way. I think we ought to go back the way we came. Opening those doors in the warehouse would be much too risky."
Kargen glances at Fenrick. "And Oriander's right. No one here needs killing. Not yet anyway. Most likely have no idea what the Aspis are involved in."
So head back to the yellow room for a peek, then get go back out the way we came in.
