Oriandor leads the party to the eastern part of the building. Behind the door is a small room equipped with a desk and two chairs. It looks like an office, the desk is covered with parchment, ink and quills.
There is a secret door to the northeast.
May I assume you close the door behind you?

Looking around Tytus carefully inspects the secret door before trying to open it. Do you need another perception check for traps?

Kargen closes the door once everyone is inside. He quickly moves to the desk to check it for any notes while Tytus finds the hidden passage.

Unless Tytus needs help with the possible trap (as Fenrik has been known to do some B&E) Fenrik will watch the door for any unwanted visitors...
Shamak

Shamak closes the door behind him and strides towards the secret door Tytus points, trying to open it.
Does it require a disable device check? If it is so, I'll let my gracious tiefling fellow do the check :)
Tytus Umbraeyes

Carefully repacking and stashing his equipment the tiefling smiles at this comrades, revealing teeth to make a shark proud.
"Ladies and gentleman, our door is open."

Behind the door you see imported marble tiles the floor, draped in rugs from Katapesh. A tapestry on the west wall depicts an Aspis ship sailing from the port of Sothis. Finely carved chairs sit before a stone fireplace and two angelic statues flank the northwest door. A bookshelf sits near the northeast corner, and maps spread across the desk. Half-burnt papers litter the fireplace; shipping manifests for Jeggare wine. Recipients include Lady Heidmarch and others.
The maps are originating from the Grand Lodge and depicting Pathfinder operations around the Inner Sea.
You identify the others as Pathfinder Society allies in Magnimar.
You find another secret door in the north wall.
A second hidden compartment contains Sloan’s information about various organizations within Magnimar. At the top of this pile is a single sheet of paper with the words “Korholm Agenda” at the top.
Handout
You find a ledger within a hidden compartment in the desk detailing the locations of Aspis smuggling operations around Varisia.
+10 bonus on the following if you speak Thassilonian
You identify a Thassilonian book of prayers to the Peacock Spirit from the Thassilonian ruins.

Not knowing anything about the map nor about the manifests, Shamak begins to search the office. After a minute of searching, Shamak finds eventually a second hidden compartment that contains Sloan’s information about various organizations within Magnimar. At the top of this pile is a single sheet of paper with the words “Korholm Agenda” at the top.

Looking around the room for a moment, his eyes hanging on the map Tytus moves up to the desk, searching it.

"Yeah all that stuff is nice to know, not quite sure it means to us, is there anything else here of value or can we continue? The ruse will only last so long."
Tytus Umbraeyes

"What it means is Fenrik that the Aspis attacked our home, stole our secrets. Take the map down, either we burn it or we have to take it with us. I guess no one is an expert in changing it... in an interesting way? I found a nice little note here. Have a look. Maybe I should check the bookshelf.

Kargen goes through the papers and the maps. "Right, these maps are from the grand Lodge and the manifests are about shipments from Pathfinder allies in Magnimar."
He reads over the paper Tytus found. "Whoever wrote this wanted to join the Aspis, though he calls it the 'Agenda.' It seems he's been spurned, but he's hoping to prove himself. This can't be Sloan, right? He's already employed by the Aspis."

Davina turns to Kargen
"I'm not sure if this is Sloan. Maybe we can find something else in another room."
She then looks at the desk and the drawers.

Oriandor opens the secret door. Behind the door is another chamber. A glowing sapphire atop a pedestal.
The sapphire is as a sending stone, one of a linked pair of magical communication devices. Each sending stone has two command words, one which allows its holder to hear the last message sent to the stone, and one which allows its holder to send a message to the stone’s twin.
A simple alarm spell guards the stone.

Kargen shakes his head. "No clue what it is. But if it's alarmed it's important. Unless someone has a dispel readied though, we should leave it for the moment."
He sees the second door. "What about the next room?"
Fenrik Wolfblade

"Good thing we got so many learned casters on this team or this would prove difficult."
Oriandor Coronalis

Anyone have it prepared? I have a scroll, but with the capped Caster Level, a real cast would be better

Shamak nods, looking for the next while the others linger in the sapphire room. "We ain't here fo' that." he says.
Shamak

Maybe Davina can help us out...
Oriandor Coronalis
|
Alright, I'll give it the benefit of a doubt for now to push things along and hope for the best since I at least don't need to touch the stone to dispel it
Oriandor pulls out a scroll from his backpack. "Never leave home without one!" and tries to remove the alarm on the stone.

Oriandor successfully dispells the alarm on the stone.
I think Tytus and Davnia did not try to identify the magic sapphire. Anybody wants to?
