Grunt's, or Des, attack hits and slices through the body. There is a momentary silence then a sudden fiery explosion as the hydra's body bursts like a gigantic fireball.

At least for now, you don't know where it is or what it is doing.
The sea dragon devours the last goat crunching the innocent animal and the bones snap like tinder. It looks around the deck, taking in the sight. He sniffs the air. "Fear...good." It begins to slip below the surface.
bite, snatch: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (18) + 19 = 37;damage: 4d8 + 10 ⇒ (2, 1, 2, 2) + 10 = 17
cmb: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (5) + 26 = 31
With lightning quick movement the sea dragon lashes out and bites Hatchet, snatching him right off the deck the only thing remaining is his left foot. Finally, sinking below the surface of the water satiated for the time being.
The magnificent beast snatches the two goats as soon as they unwillingly led to the side rail. The first goat is swallowed whole, the massive maw snaps the second goat in half blood splatters on deck, when the sea dragon deftly gulps down the second half of the goat Before it hit the water.
"More tribute!"
The ship rocks.

About Jenkins E. Acornfield
Dear Vice President of Marketing Grog Thistleburns,
First, I want to thank you for hiring me as a lower-level supervisor at D’nndar M’phh'ln Patron Company. I believe that I have great potential, and I know my skills can be put to good use here. The mission of D’nndar M’phh'ln Patron Company is very important, and I truly hope to be able to be an important part of that mission. However, I do not believe I will be able to help the company in a meaningful way in my current position.
As you no doubt know, my quarterly numbers are down across the board, with sacrifices 20% below average regional levels and lacking even one pitchfork-and-torch-carrying mob in the last month. By all accounts, this is not a momentary problem, as we have ranked below the regional average consistently for the past fiscal year. However, I would like to draw your attention to what I am sure is the source of the problem: Mr. Van Goghblin.
Mr. Van Goghblin was hired last year due to his high intelligence and noted eccentricity both making him seem like a reasonable candidate for the job. However, as I have worked alongside him, I have come to realize that he lacks all of the basic skills and awareness necessary to carry out tasks assigned to him. He does not even seem fully aware of all of the powers you have granted him, and seems indifferent to the day-to-day responsibilities an employee of this company has.
Due to his incompetence, I would like to formally request that Mr. Van Goghblin’s contract with the company be terminated, and that I be reassigned to another position. I believe that if I were assigned to a different employee, I could do much more important and helpful work.
I hope you take my request into consideration. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Jenkins Evergreen Acornfield, Lower-Level Supervisor
