I am not sure, but I kind of have a feeling the scenario didn't really expect the pcs to worry about the slaves or take the prisoners well being in consideration after the mission. Its possible I just found a plot hole and poked at it >.>

So its fun to role play it out I guess, but I don't know if we want to put tons of effort in to if there is no real solution. I could be wrong though!

Does Nyms plan to return the statue to its proper resting place work? Does anything happen?

Nym will take 10s on Planes and Religion for 18 and 18. Is the asura statue from this temple? Is this the proof Nym needs for the Grand Lodge mission "suspicion that some sort of secret alliance with beings dwelling on the demiplane might be in the offing."

Nym examines the spell book. How is copying spells handled in PFS? When he is finished he tucks it into his backpack. If Missy wants to take a look at it he will give it to her, I don't know if summoners get new spells like wizards?

He then stands up and flips over the desk dramatically.

"If we chop of this desks legs off we can use it as a sled for the statue. With rope and the kind assistance of the freed slaves we should be able to drag the statue back into place. I can even use my nifty grease wand to smooth the desks passage." Nym smiles.

To Saphera he says "We might have to leave the freed slaves with the captive as there prisoner, assuming we could trust them not to harm him. The downside to this is, if any more aspis agents come through there gate, the freed slaves would likely be executed or tortured."

When the prisoner is bound Nym beckons the rest of the group to follow him.

When they are out of ear shot of the prisoner he whispers. "Well, this is going to turn into a real mess. If you remember what Aram Zey said; only we can exit the tapestry through our portal. The same goes for him." Nym gestures at the slave master. "Rescuing the slaves will result in the same problem. We can't take them through our exit. We will have to discover where there exit is outside the tapestry."

Nym moves up to the edge of his pool of grease and decides it has served its purpose and concentrates on dismissing it.

Are the figures that came out from behind the statue magical in nature or are they just humanoids of some sort?

Nym moves on to the stairs producing his wand of Buyers Remorse a.k.a. Wand of Grease. With a flick of the wrist he produces a 10 ft puddle in front of the sneaky one.

It was 1 damage from the fire with a save and I made it. Wasn't sure if it rounded down to 0 or not.

Nym produces his wand of healing. "I can not use this myself, but there is no reason for you Saphera to burden yourself solely with the expensive of healing the group. Please use mine for a while." Nym hands his wand over to Saphera.

Feeling curious he pokes head around the corner into the next hallway.

After pouting about his wand's poor performance Nym notices whats burning in the fire. His eyes go wide and he leaps to yank the book out of the flames.

"Youch!" Nym does his best to preserve what he can by patting out the flames. He scowls at the fire as if it had some sort of willful malicous intent. As he stares at it something dawns on him...

"This fire seems to be made where a statue should be standing. Its missing!

I didn't think I could dismiss it either, but I looked it up. If the spell has a duration with (D) in it you can dismiss the spell as a standard action. My level one grease wand only has a duration of 1 minute anyways >.>

Nym looks at his wand of grease incredulously. "This wand is not worth what I paid for it at all!" Nym folds his arms and frowns.

Thats why I am asking if he has cover, I don't think he does. It says for range I draw lines from my best corner to all of his corners which I can if I use my sw corner.

If he currently has cover, then if just him and Nym where in a tunnel 5 ft wide with nothing in between us he would also have cover, which I don't think is right.

I was referring to the attack before that one that rolled a 13 touch for 6 dmg. The 13 included a -4 for the target engaged with an enemy and I didn't think he had cover.

I am not overly concerned about the damage, I just want to make sure I understand the rule for cover and drawing lines, as it will probably come up again.

I just realized that would provoke an AoO so I wouldn't do it. I'd like to know where I can read about the rules with the hard line though.

If I stand where Grym was at the doorway, am I able to cast burning hands using 15ft cone template? I am not sure how doors work with the hard line, etc. Depending on how badly injured the teifling is after Saphera's attack though, it might not be worth it anyway :p

I am not sure how line of sight works with door ways and standing next to them. If he doesn't have line of sight he will stay put with a readied action in case any reinforcements come from the north

From His stat block, "Deadly greensting scorpions normally live in forests, though they can survive nearly anywhere." I can't imagine a cold blooded creature doing well in a freezing environment though.
