I played "The Commencment"scenario with two different characters, and noticed that the reputation listed online is missing for scenarios with a note:

Quote:
Player has already played scenario at session # X of event # XXX PFS on [Date].

The really confusing once is that I am missing reputation for both games, one from 2017 with a note saying I have already played the game in 2018. So I guess I had already played the scenario in the future so it doesn't count?

On a separate note I have a total of 13 reputation on one of my character who should still have 14 (ignoring the missing Commencement Reputation points). If I add up the points listed in my session list I come to 12 played game points and 2 GM points for this character, but the total reputation only shows 13.

I was asked to help create some promotional flyers for a couple of local lodges to spread the word about local Starfinder Society organisation something with local meetup and contact information. It appears however that The Starfinder and Starfinder Society logo have not been added to the community use package. Because they are logos that means they are exempt from the normal rules about artwork from the blog being usable by the community.

Has there been any indication if these logos will ever be released in the package or not?

17 people marked this as FAQ candidate.

I'm not sure if this is PFS or general rules question, but I specifically want to do this in PFS so it's here.

Bardic Masterpieces either replace a spell known or a feat.

I personally don't see a problem using either the retraining rules (for the level spell replaced, or feat replacement) or the free spell replacement you can take at levels 5, 8, etc. to learn a Bardic Masterpiece in place of a spell.

How would you rule this?

I missed the last morning of the con so I didn't get to tell you in person. But I think you deserve to know, you inspired my LN fire slinging stone oracle/monk to shift alignment to LG and convert to the worship of Sarenrae.

Anyone else want to share awesome stories of characters being influenced by other players you have met?

If someone replays a scenario for no credit they do not receive a chronicle sheet.

"All players receive a Chronicle sheet unless, at the GM’s
discretion, they are replaying the module or Adventure
Path for no credit." - Guide to Organized play.

No XP, no money, no reward. However does this mean that any money, items consumed by that character or conditions gained (including player death) are also ignored?

If gold/items and conditions do apply then how is this tracked without a chronicle?

The lack of a chronicle sheet leads me to believe that no credit means no risk or reward, not all risk and no reward.

I would also expect that if you are replaying a scenario it is expected that along with the "no spoilers" rule it is expected that you do not burn all your money and consumables.

I could not find a clear answer on the boards or in the guide, maybe I just missed it.

So, it always bothered be that some of Pharasma's most interesting domains seem to be built around necromancy, even though she is completely anti-undeath.

I have toyed with the idea of a Pharasma cleric for a while, but I never got on board with a deity who would grant spells that would then require an atonement for casting.

That being said the issue seems to have been fixed in an obscure blog post:

http://paizo.com/paizo/blog/v5748dyo5lbvp

But is the blog PFS legal? If I print this blog post out and use the alternate domain spells, am I good to go with a Pharasma build that actually makes sense, or do I need to stick to formal publications?

Edit: If this was detailed in a published book am I required to purchase said material to use this alternate spell list?

I am a really new GM, and have some new players. One of my players used 2 PP to buy a Wand of Lesser Restoration. A wand that was used multiple times in our session.

He was under the impression because it was a level 1 Paladin spell it would be 750Gp. Which sounded right to me at the time, but I have now learned that it must be bought at the Cleric level.

Should I just nullify the purchase next session? I know he doesn't have the money for it.

Since it was an honest mistake I don't think he should be forced to purchase it. But since multiple charges were used I'm not sure the best way to proceed.

Regarding masterwork tools, the general description is open ended, are there limits to which skill checks you can buy masterwork tools for?

I would have read this as any skill check that a mundane tool could help with, however my friend read this as being able to get a tool to assist in any skill check.

So he bought a masterwork tool that was a terrifying necklace to give him a +2 on Intimidate checks.

This seems a bit of a stretch to me, but if that is the intention I don't really have a problem with it.

So, which skills can you get Masterwork Tools for?

I am mostly referring to the special prerequisite requirement on the class:

"Special: Must have authored or scribed something (other
than a magical scroll or other device) for which another
person (not a PC) paid at least 50 gp."

It seems to me the only way to do this in PFS would be to land >25 (50 gp) on a 'Scribe' Day Job check. But it may be one of those things that just doesn't "work like that."

This has probably been covered in one of the PFS materials, but I am not aware of where to look for clarification.
