Nombir is keeping watch while Zaid talks with Undrella, but is listening intently. "We can help make your life easier here if you help us. What do you say?" says Nombir winking at Undrella whilst holding his weapon! That will be his morning star by the way!

Nombir will accompany Zaid, as he's his best friend in the world after all. Well actually, he's is only friend!!


Male Human Cleric 2

Nombir listens to everybody, ponders and then makes a decision. " The longer we wait the more chance that a Gnoll patrol will discover us, but Shimei is correct about the guards and Livvy is correct about the healing. On that basis, we attack tomorrow morning at first light while the village is still sleeping. That will give us time to heal and prepare. Zaid and Shimei can create distractions once the rest of us start to infiltrate the village. Then they can also used their ranged weapons and spells to support the attack initially and then join us in the village once things kick off. I will lead the attack with Erizi and the rest of you follow us. We head straight for the building that Rova has indicated. If it all goes wrong we all run and meet back here. All we all agreed?"

"Thank you Shimei, this good. Please keep watch on the surrounding area with Erizi and Norn. See if you can spot all of their look outs ". Nombir then looks at Rova and Livvy. "Rova, you need to tell me where the Chief is likely to be and don't lie or you die with us if things go wrong!"

"That sounds like a sensible plan my friend. That's why your are the brains around" says Nombir nodding approvingly with a chuckle at Zaid. He then addresses the entire party "We need to get away from this place before the Gnolls come back in force, then make our plan in detail, then we go and find the Gnoll chief in Kelmarane. Rova, you will tell us where the chief is likely to be and no funny business or I'll leave you to him" says Nombir sternly and pointing at Erizi. "Shimei, please lead us to a place near a suitable entry point into the village where we can make our final preparations and we'll go from there. Now everybody grab your gear please and get into our usual party order for the move. Shimei, please lead on when you are ready"

I believe we have a map of Kelmarane somewhere?

In utter exasperation "Perhaps we need a plan before our small group attacks the entire Gnoll garrison by ourselves!" says Nombir loud enough for everybody, including Erizi, to hear.

FW - What are the options for changing character please? I just don't see how Nombir can continue to adventure with Erizi (brilliantly played character that he is though!). We're just going around in circles all the time.

Nombir listens to Eriz and sighs.

Nombir speaks quietly to Erizi "Listen my warrior friend, we will carry on with our mission today together. Rova may have some useful information, so I think we should take him along. I don't understand your hatred of the Gnolls, so I will not insult you by saying I do. At the first sign of treachery then you may do what needs to be done. However, as we are risking our lives together, lets vote." Nombir addresses the whole party "Who votes that Rova comes with us today? We need to resolve this issue now and be done with it"

So, that's just a guess- I know nothing about ships even if Ragnar might. Can I make a Profession Sailor check to see if he has any better ideas?

"I think you are right and it's odd that the village wasn't left any warships to guard the village from the pirate threat. Come, lets find Stefnir and the others"

If Ragnar agrees, we will go and find Stefnir and then the others to arrange the meeting

Hearing Livvy's concerns about water. "I can create water whenever we need it Livvy"

Livvy - Assume Nombir creates water in this instance if you need it

"If any of you are hurt, please come here" say Nombir, looking especially at Erizi with a knowing look.

Once everybody who needs to be is near. Nombir will channel energy twice:

That's my channelling finished until I get my eight hours sleep etc people!

"Well done Livvy" as Nombir arrives and looks at Rova's wounds.

Heal Check to see how badly hurt Rova is and what treatment is required:

Nombir shakes his head in disbelief! "I will tend your wounds shortly Erizi, but Rova is badly wounded while you are not! Anyway, don't you want to find out where he's been and where the other Gnolls are?"

Nombir looks at Erizi angrily "Until Rova is proven guilty he is not to be touched, do you understand? If is proven a traitor, then you can kill him. If we just kill every creature we see, then we are no better than the Gnolls you hate so much. Remember you're a warrior, not a butcher!"

With that Nombir moves to Rova and Livvy. "Let's move him to the camp where we can tend to his wounds properly whilst the others keep watch."

As Nombir moves with the party "it's not your fault Livvy, I tried to give Rova a chance, but it looks like he may have betrayed us. However, if we just kill everything we see, we just become animals like them."

Nombir will continue to ready an action to attack any enemy that attacks him or Zaid. "I think we should run or get into the cave! We are at big disadvantage being in the open at night! " shouts Nombir to the others.

Nombir will stay with Zaid and ready an action to attack any enemy with his morning star that attacks either of them.

No worries FW and thanks Shimei. It seems so long ago that I used the light spell I had forgotten all about it! FW is right I should keep track, but I tend to post in a hurry and use my memory, so age must be creeping up on me.

Once in the cave "thank you Shimei, you have done well yet again" smiles Nombir. He addresses everybody "lets make camp here. We all need rest and food. After that we need to talk about our next move. We are doing ok through our combined efforts, so well done everybody."

FW - The usual watch list thing will take place of course, with an emphasis on our spellcasters getting the rest they need to re-charge etc

"Right that's that sorted. Rova" nombir points his sword at the Gnoll "will go at the front of our pack with that man" Nombir points at Shimei. "You will do what he tells you without question, or you will answer to him!" Nombir points at Erizi.

"Ok Shimei, lets get out of here. Everybody fall in and lets move"

Nombir will trust Shimei's judgement on where to go next, as we just need to get away from here, decide what we are going to do next and make a suitable plan.

FW - I'm still waiting for Rova to divulge the enemy strength in Kelmaraine please. He's been asked twice and he is submissive after all! Thanks

Nombir listens to Livvy "Very well Livvy, thank you" and then turns to talk to the others. He moves over to Zaid first.

She believes him and I agree with her that we could take advantage of his possible loyalty - even if he plans to betray us, we should be able to take advantage of that betrayal, too, if we plan well. We might need to separate our party so he doesn't know where everyone is or what the plan is, of course. Have a think and discuss it with the others while I help guard the Gnoll"

Nombir the re-joins Livvy "the others will let us know what they think of the proposal shortly" say Nombir and winks at Livvy.

Nombir looks exasperated as Erizi walks off. "Will somebody please get a grip of him! He's a fine warrior and we need him, but his unpredictability is starting to become a problem! There's no time for this!"

Is anybody good at sense motive? Now would be a good time!

Nombir moves closer to the Gnoll. "Livvy, please make sure he understands what I'm about to say to him". Speaking to the Gnoll "I want to know where the rest of your pack is located and want to know now?! You can have a sword once our time in this place is finished and you are set free"

Nombir steps between the Gnoll and Erizi. "I told the Gnoll he would live if he complies. If he doesn't then he's yours, but until then keep watch please and let Livvy continue. Without honour we are no better than the Gnoll".

We need information from him if possible. Livvy, ask him how many Gnolls and there allies there are in the village while we follow Shimei please"

Nombirs breathes a sigh of relief "Well done everybody! We're alive, just!". He keeps his morning star ready in case the Gnoll changes his mind. "We need to move away from this place. Livvy, please tell the Gnoll that he will live if he does what you say. Somebody bind his hands. Shimei, please lead us out of here to somewhere we can hide and question this creature"
