Naxian anxiously waits to move on."Where to now?"

"I wonder where this tunnel goes. Should we see? Or does everyone want to see if we may have missed one?".

"That is better. I guess I will need something to deal with skeletons."
Naxian begins to look around.

"Apparently my daggers don't do anything against their bones. That is unfortunate."
Naxian tries his dagger once more."We will give it another try."

"I told you having a dagger ready was a good thing."

Naxian, dagger in hand, lashes out at the beast.purple

Naxian pulls a dagger from his belt.

"Be diplomatic all you want. I will be ready if he does not want to play nicely."
Naxian looks around for a more advantageous position.

"These carvings, I've read something about them in my travels.
As Naxian explains what the carvings mean he once again distributed his gear the way he likes it.

"I think the depictions are an earlier version of History and future of Humanity.. I particularly like the part about the thief. If I ever get caught aquiring things I'll give them that excuse."

Naxian secures his rope to his pack so he can pull it over when he's done.
"Watch out. Mr. Stabbity is coming over."

Naxian looks at Effie as she tries to jump the pit.
"I think I should go last. All this gear nobody wanted to carry will make it harder for me to carry over this pit. Naxian begins to make sure everything is stowed in his pack.

"I'm assuming you want to tie off the rope when you're over there. Then we can carefully use the rope to get over there."Naxian peers into the pit.

"How deep is it? What did you find at the bottom?"

"Who wants what in this pack? I will take the potion of vanish, one alchemists fire, and that tanglefoot bag seems interesting. I will take whatever anyone else does not wish to carry. Now lets divide this and get going."

Naxian looks through the pack ready to grab what he needs.

"While my blades thirst for that creatures blood, it is best to live another day."Naxian moves towards the cave mouth, but still pulls a dagger from his belt. "I'll take my dagger just in case."

"I am also more comfortable in the city. Right now I will trust your judgement Anaias."
Naxian follows closely behind Anaias.

Naxian has no more weapons to use against the swarms. Feeling as though he is out of the way he stays where he is.

"Watch out. Those spiders have a nasty bite.". Naxian cracks a small smile.

Naxian throws his alchemist fire at the nearest swarm. not sure which ones are still alive.

Fire: 1d20 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 1 + 4 = 18
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

"Burn you vermin"

Naxian retches as he tries to draw a flask of alchemists fire from his pack."Now I know why I hate spiders".Blahhh

Naxian throws his acid at the green swarm.

Naxian begins to lay out his gear.
"Let's see here. I have some gear studded leather, acid, alchemist’s fire, six daggers , rapier, backpack, hooded lantern, five uses of oil ,50 ft of silk rope ,thieves’ tools, wand of cure light wounds, bedroll, belt pouch, water skin, caltrops, chalk, flint and steel, grappling hook, iron pot, mess kit, ten pitons,ten torches, five days of field rations."Naxian looks around."Maybe I need more daggers. You can never have too many."

"Mr. Stabbity!!! I shall take that as my nickname. Naxian grins widely.. "I do not look back and dwell on it. I turned this way by choice. I would not change it for anything. I would not trade these daggers for any gun. Naxian nods in Effie's direction. I always bring a knife to a gun fight. I'm beginning to like you Effie. We will work well together.

"At least you knew your mother. Mine gave me to humans before I could remember her. I guess I could thank her. I would of never become the expert thief and dagger master that I am."

"Come back alive I hear. This will be no problem. Naxian often seems arrogant. He believes he is confident. Not very quick to trust. Once he gets to adventure with you will gain his trust.
His daggers are always razor sharp and readily available. He likes to sneak up on his foes and sink his daggers deep within his enemies. If he can't reach the enemy, Naxian will often throw a dagger to make them bleed. Naxian lusts for battle and always wishes to show his skills.

No day Job. I would like to make purchases later when I have access to material.

"I eagerly a await the chance at this confirmation. The Overflow Archives were of no match for my skills. Also helping solve trade prince Aaqir al’Hakam'S mentors death was no challenge. Perhaps my skills will be tested better this time.".
Naxian seems very full of himself

"We have completed our task. Everything is worth exploring. Never know what we will find."

Naxian paces anxiously."Yes I do think sealing the door would be best. No need to go through all this again. If Mistress Koi forgets and starts flooding rooms again we will be back where we started."

"Yes, I agree. Let's head back downstairs. Maybe then we can finish our task. Is everyone ready?"
Naxian moves ahead as if anxious to move.

"I would think they would have better locks in this place. Let's see what's in this room." Naxian smiles widely.

"Too many riddles. Let's find what we came here for. Then we can be done with this fox."
Naxian is pacing slightly, showing some impatience.

Im assuming those bonuses for Flag/Inspire Courage are correct. Also wasn't sure about critical damage on an Aoo round. That was a great roll though.

I thought I moved my piece earlier only now realizing I moved the wrong piece on the wrong map. Oops.

Naxian moves closer to get a flanking strike. He takes a swing with his rapier.
"You should of given up. You are outnumbered and helpless. So be it. Today is your last.

Seeing the crocodile has died, Naxian moves trying to get closer to the fox.
"Why don't you give up now while you can."

"If he can imitate anyone, how do we know who is who? I do not practice magic, just how dangerous are these scrolls. If they are as dangerous as it sounds then we must find them at once." Naxian paces back and forth as if anxiously wanting to get moving."Are we ready to move."

Ok, got it. I looked up that rule after I posted that. Also researched the rules for flanking so I can take a better vantage point. Thanks for the clarification.

Makes sense. So if I roll a critical hit I still roll another attack to see if I get the critical damage. Does that roll also have to be a critical hit? I thought I was still holding a weapon unless I sheathed it earlier. Earlier post says "with rapier in hand" and I was assuming I had drawn it all ready.

Naxian continues to watch with amusement.

Naxian inches forward in the water heading toward B5 with rapier in hand.
"It would be easier to move if it wasn't for this water. Let's find this fox and be done with it. He must be around here somewhere."

Naxian moves closer to the worm.
"We finally meet. The light was interesting, unfortunately your time has come to and end. We have seen the light, now let's see how you bleed."
Naxian pulls a rapier from his belt. He crouches lower ready to attack.

Seems the initiative dice like me.

"I wander if that fox is close. I imagine this light isn't a good thing."
Trying to stay out of the water, Naxian climbs onto a shelf.
Climb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

"Yes, it appears as though downstairs is the way. Who thinks the fox will go without a fight. For my sake, I hope he doesn't. My blades are razor sharp and ready." Naxian grins widely from ear to ear. He also clenches a dagger on his belt firmly. "Shall we go find ourselves a fox?"

"Sinister fox, hmm? Ask it if it happens to remember which way the fox went."

"What did it say. Ask it if it can stop soaking everything. It is a beautiful creature, but if we must kill it to accomplish our task-then so be it."
