Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Please bot Natty if you need to.
My computer motherboard has gone to that great motherboard in the sky.
Thus I may or may not have access to a computer that will allow me to post.

Cheers,
Deevor

Oh I was really enjoying this ... Unfortunately Natty's charisma means he isn't diplomatic very often, but then neither is he much of an intimidating half-orc either. He will make friends with any female NPC that won't lead to him being beaten up, well OK not beaten up too badly.

I don't know much of the other characters, but given the indication in the way the AP continues then each of us should be able to indicate whether our characters would maybe alter their reactions and interactions a little bit.

I'd really like to continue if Zueth can forgive the hauling him out the Inn if we get that far.

bump...who's next?

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Despite the fists that reign down on him, Natty continues to drag Zueth towards the door, shouting angrily, "Leave him, he's mine to punish!"

Not sure if you are waiting on Natty, if you were I'm sorry, I was waiting for the rest of the round to play out. Natty intends to hold onto Zueth. He was getting on good terms with the woman, before Zueth interfered, it could have been a free bed for the night!

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

@GardenTool: Currently Zueth is grappled by Natty and being dragged towards the door as Natty's actions were the first to go off or so I believe.

Natty taken aback by Zeuth's intervention, sneers at his friend, "You would make me belly hungry and disturb me stew!" He seeks a way to get back into the woman's good books again, and immediately tries to grab Zeuth. He shouts loudly "You drunken fool, insult a lady would you, out with you!" Then looking at the advancing locals he loudly states, "Stay your arms friends, my friend here cannot stomach a meagre drink as real men like us. I'll redress the insult he made to the fair lady, whose goodness keeps the ale flowing! Rest easy friends, let me kick his arse from here to Pharesma's throne." As Natty attempts to drag Zueth out of the Inn.

"You have something to warm to belly as well as ale." the half-orc smiles at the woman. "You've been most friendly, what did you say your name was again? Perhaps one night, we can have an ale or two ourselves?" as his smile widens and his eyes take in the woman's form, roving up and down. "Never know when I might need a bed to hide for the night." He turns to his friends, quickly looking back at the bartender, "Bring the food, a stew and bread, over to the table when its ready. "

As the scruffy and dirty half-orc sits at the table, he waits for those around him to settle down. He leans across the table, a vertical finger across his mouth, quietly he speaks, "See, now what she said is interesting gossip, which may or may not be true, but let's just say she in a trustworthy sort." He stops, looking at each of you in turn, in case an insight has been gleaned from the previous exchange. "That there Ayala Javeski, clever little ambitious cow from Riddleport, might have had a bit of trouble. She may have bit off more than she could chew, with Donal Carent, a hard one him, leader of the Wreckwash Blades, I mean their name speaks for themselves. Perhaps if we want to find him, we'll need to search for the Varasian camp he calls home, its on the outskirts, may take a little time. One o' you's might have a plan?" he asks, hoping to find more about the Sczarni groups.

Natty is quick to open his purse, "Well my lovely, to those with a thirst, let's whet our lips and throats here. Ale, for me and my friends. " he says jovially with a wink to the woman. She may be rather older than his normal taste, but no harm in getting her on his side. Never know when a woman can offer you succor and nourishment, if your luck is out. "So my lady of the bar, are you well?" he beams at her, "for if you are in the mood, why your lips can be wetted with a drink for you too?" her asks, tossing back his head. He smooths down his dirty clothes, making a spectacle of himself, as one who tries hard to be above their station. He spits on his grey handkerchief, and wipes the sides of his mouth, smearing the dirt of the roadside across his face, but he smiles none the less. He watches as the woman retrieves the drinks and hands then out.

As the last beer is slopped in front of them, he leans across the counter to the woman. "Say I heard it's not safe in this city, that there's people going missing at night. If you have any daughters, me and me friends would be glad to protect you and them on your way home. Though I bet you don't trust the likes of some of me friends." he whispers conspiratorially across at her. "But really, they's good sorts. That old fortune teller told 'em they's be helping some friendly and helpful people escape from the dark snatcher. But hey what's in a fortune teller's story. I mean he said they'd go to a tower and meet with the girls there. Who knows what he's talking about, you don't know about any Tower Girls do you me lovely?" he asks as innocently as he can. "I'm sure if we could find them girls, it would be worth my friends to lay out a little reward or wager, I mean meeting up with the Tower girls eh? alone and together." he winks suggestively.

"If you gonna argue, let's do it over a drink." say Natty, "It's been a long day, and I could do with one. You never know what the barman might know, now do ya? Then once yous both cooled off, we's find them girls." he says with a wink. "Hope them pretty little things, eh!!"

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

"Huh!, perhaps you can go back and talk to the watch, they might have an idea about these 'Girls'?" says a despondent Natty.

Natty returns after his little walk and once more stays in the shadows by the fortune tellers tent, watching.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Natty walks to the front of the tent, poking his head in he says, "Careful, 'bout a dozen armored and armed men, all 'is mates outside, they be ready to 'elp the drug addled fake, if he calls 'em." He closes the tent flap and walks behind the tent out of view of the carnies, disappearing into the crowd.

"Well, hes a lying scumbag, of course he'll know how to contact the Sczarni, its just a matter of gold or something else he might want. I wouldn't try anything else just yet, his minders might encourage us to leave rather forcibly. So far I haven't counted those with an interest, but have no fears, we and he are being watched." say Natty with a sneer, as he clears his throat before spitting on the floor. He surveys the crowd once more, concentrating on the carnies he saw previously, counting as he goes.

Natty lifts his left upper lip into a scowl at the sounds of slavers, whilst it may be profitable for some, to be caught would be extremely unfortunate. "Harder to contact the Sczarni, as if. He would for the right price. Humphf!" thinks the half-orc.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Natty stays outside the tent, keeping out of the way, listening through the canvas to the words inside.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Natty watches the silent man march straight towards the tent. He stops and out of the corner of his mouth he quietly hisses to the rest of the party "Follow him make sure he doesn't get in any trouble, I'll watch from out here for anyone with ill intent. Shout if you have any trouble." He seeks a shadowy spot among the building along the closed street, hoping to get close enough hear his friends if they shout out for help.

Natty watches the remote Zeuth leave the room, leaning his head to one side and looking quizzically at him as he goes and then shrugs his shoulders. He moves over to the venture captain, a glint in his eye, he winks at her just as she hands the contents to Erwin. He grins manically, almost bursting into laughter, his shoulders shake as his grubby right hand goes out, inviting hers to into it. He bows to the woman, "Until we meet again my fair captain." and presses his lips on the back of Lady Shiela's hand as he attempts a gallant exit.

Once outside, Natty cannot do much more than hold his sides as he bursts into a ribald laugh and catches up Zeuth. "Master Heracine, our beautiful captain has the softs for old Erwin here, no need for subtefuge when he's there. She gave him them things. Ha Ha! Must like a bit of dwarf, eh Erwin? So com'on then, down to Washer's Row with ya. Just remember the inhabitants have sticky fingers and liking for gold, bit like me really, but they ain't got no panache. No way with the ladies like me and Erwin. Ha Ha! "

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

"Nidalese, who are they? I've heard rumors, but..." Natty's voice trails off. Taking slaves in the midst of this city, that is just not right. How can an honest thief make a living, if he has to worry about being caught by slavers. His face screws up, "Let's go after these slavers."

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

"Where the Sczarni look, there is no doubt risk. We need to know more of this Natalya Vancaskerkin, where did you plan to meet her? How did you communicate with this woman? And the Sczarni, where might we contact them? You give us an interesting story, my beautiful Captain, but not much we can go on, save the name. Do your agents not hear more rumors than that, especially about this Natalya and the Thassilon treasure?" the half-orc looks at the Venture-Captain, for once thinking the 500gp is worth more than rubbing close to the lady Heidmarch. His eyes sparkle with greed, as though this woman already knows how to manipulate Natty and he willingly obliges as though an unspoken contract has been drawn up between them. His dirty gray linen shirt is wiped under his large black haired nostrils as his forearm moves in a sweeping motion across his face. He smiles.

"Strange creatures, just when you thought you'd got on top of them, it seemed you got distracted or mistimed or just straight missed the little critter. You should check your boxes more carefully next time." He seems to hold the ladies responsible for the mess, "We stopped 'em doin' any more damage though, you was lucky we was here." as his voice seems to perk up, as he assigns himself and the group in the room as heroes.

Natty smiles as he sees the sleeve of a human move, a movement that is not his arm. Hmmm, a tricky one that, he holds a surprise for the unobservant. I must make his acquaintance. He watches the cloth ripple and be taut, then rise and fall as if a living creature might be breathing under its master's protection.

Then his eyes are drawn to the confident step of a dwarf as he marches up to those gathered round the door and bell. The sun glints off something he holds up, a key. A key, but I wonder what too, interesting although he is brash enough to hold it out for all to see. Is he bluffing or is the key a useless instrument with no mystery at the end of it.

The shadows under the tree seem to move, though there is not distinct form, Natty keeps himself away from those lining up to enter, until he has had a chance to weigh up the companions being laid up for the job ahead.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 1 HPs:12(8)/12 AC:15/14/12 XP: 40

Natty uncomfortable in such fine surroundings shrinks as small as he can. His shoulders hunch over, he pulls his hood down over his eyes, peering furtively the whites of his eyes are seen darting to the left and right, watching the others make their way to the door. He wears his dirty gray-black tunic and cape, it attracts the shadows of the walls and ornamental trees to it, as if the very clothing itself wishes not to be seen. Having given the merest nod of acknowledgement to the guards as he flicked his invitation briefly in their direction, he walks towards the bell, with a slow measured stuttering step. His hand have disappeared into the folds of his hooded cape, he is nothing but a shabby and destitute shadow that has deflowered the fresh garden colors, green, yellow and blue that give vibrancy to the wealthy manor house.

He interrupts his march forward and sidles under the cover of a green canopy offered by a tree and stands in its shadows leaning by the trunk, watching, casting an eyes over the fellow invitees to the manor. Looking at their strengths and weaknesses, identifying any threat. As he observes, his body and clothes seem to meld into the shadow, making it more difficult to identify his position.

That's a hellacious Appraise bonus you're going to have going there.

All your saves appear to be one high, but you also don't have the orc ferocity trait listed on your sheet - did you take sacred tattoo instead?

Yes, has two alternate racial traits, Sacred Tattoo instead of Orc Ferocity and Scavenger instead of the Orc Intimidation bonus.

I will manually add the Ruin Raider to the sheet the rest was generated using Hero Lab, so I'm surprised it didn't show Sacred Tattoo. Yeah not really sure of the Ruin Raider trait, but it does fit my understanding of Natty, driven by the need to make money, ruins are a bit easier to make money, there's no city guard to stop you. But a little burglary and pick pocketing is also handy.

I have added the various perception checks into the Game Helpers section, hope it helps, there's a lot of them ... :)

Natty makes his way towards the man, staying out of sight behind the lab tables and equipment, he cautiously and quietly get closer to the mad man.

'Tis a shame, I've really enjoyed this game, the interactions between the characters has been great. Not to mention some good solid GMing which has kept the game moving along. But I know how it is, as I've had to drop DMing games because they take up a lot more time than just playing and appreciate GM Tierce's work so far in getting this off the ground and flowing.
