Ralthak Rinson
Fumble decks are fun. We groan when we get one, and cheer when the enemies do. We had a two handed fight once who lost his left hand and most of the fingers on his right hand. I had an archer who dropped all his ammo. Makes for a more interesting game. Th crit decks are even more fun.
Cilda
Oh come on, that was a direct hit! It didn't even affect it at all? Cilda thinks as she starts to move closer and closer. She decides to put away the bow and arrows for now, and draws her lucrene hammer. She still isn't close enough, and tries to get Choztu, the one in front of her, to start moving along the walkway so that she can get closer as well.
Natty Grast
Natty having regained his balance after his jump and miss, takes a more careful aims this time, smashing it with his mace, though not with his usual force. Accuracy is sometimes better than pure violence he thinks. "Feel this then you heap of fanged bones." snaps Natty as his blow strikes.

The creatures rattles back as Ralthak cuts off a chunk of its bone section, but it continues to rattle and hiss. Natty's hit however bashes in the bones rather well and the creatures howles at him.
The creature turns to Natty in a rage and strikes at him with its fanged skull.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
But that attack misses right over Natty's shoulder.

Cilda leaps across to face the skeletal beast. She lets out a primal scream and slams down on the creature. It may not have felt that arrow she loosed, but it should feel THIS.
Attack with Power Attack 1d20 + 4 - 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 - 1 = 8
However, in her anger, she alerts the beast to quickly dodge, and Cilda unfortunately swings at empty air.
Natty Grast
Natty winks at the boney creature, "Gotta be better than that to get past twinkle foot Natty's dancing defense. Ha ha ha." as he strikes home once more with his mace, shattering several more bones. He laughs loudly.
Round 3

"See my pretty, that's how a real man works." he continues laughing as the others gather themselves together after the frightening moments when the undead beast posed a threat.
He turns his attention to the door, looking it over for the tale-tail signs of a trap, nonchantly he says "So, we might as well go on then, you all ready?" his right eye closes as the grins.
Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 looking for traps on the door.
Thanks Maus ... we have a good range of weapons in the group, so I expect Natty will be a bit useless elsewhere. That and he's not good at finding traps yet, so this one he did good ... the next will be someone else's turn to shine. Plus he's not really that nice a person to be around, hope he's creepy enough.
Maus Sedat
I'm showing 610?
Maus continues to stare into space for a few more seconds then snaps out. Wipes the drool from his chin and chest ashamedly, and then ask...
"what just happened?"
After he gets filled in he will help Search the door as well. And this strange room...

Must not kill Natty. Must not kill Natty. He makes a good distraction for people trying to kill us. Must not kill Natty. Cilda just keeps that thought rotating through her mind as she waits for everyone to make it to the other side.
"First hands, then dog....things, now a snake. Anyone want to make bets what the next undead freak we'll find next will be?" she asks the group. She picks up the arrow she fired earlier and puts it back in its quiver.
Cilda also notices Maus looking like he just came out of a daze and staring confusedly in front of him. "Were you not paying attention?" she says, responding to his question. "We got jumped by some kind of bone snake. Did you just stare off in the opposite direction the whole time or something?"
GM Tierce
You notice no traps, and as you open the door, you notice a long hallway. As you follow the long hallway down, the corridor branches off to the left, but in front of you stands a door. A door emblazoned with a strange seven-pointed star stands in the back of a alcolve. The door is very large and metal and is unlike any other door so far in the Ossuary.
Your options are to continue South, go back, or look at the door

Cilda waits a moment before entering the hallway. "Fine. Maus, I apologize. Just don't let it happen again."
In the hallway, Cilda can't help but stare at the door. She whistles and says [b]"Damn. What in the world is behind this thing?"[b] She puts her hand on it, knocking it a few times with her open palm.
Natty Grast
As they walk down the hallway, Natty 'finds' himself next to Maus. "You been a bad boy back there, eh Maus. Upsetting our lady like that. What was you doing? SCARED was ya? Ya won't be enjoying no favors from her later wills ya?" he asks in his gravel weasel like voice, before winking at the man.
As they reach the point of decision, Natty looks to his companions, "See they put big doors like that in for two reasons,. One to keep people out and two to keep people in. Now what do you all think, if its to keep people out, then there's gonna be stuff worth loads of gold in there."
GM Tierce
You head down the corridor and it ends in a single chamber. The acrid stench of chemicals and reagents fills this chamber, and the walls are marred by strange stains and scorch marks. Several tables are scattered about the room, covered in a bewildering plethora of glassware, alembics, retorts, tubes, simmering cauldrons, and smoking beakers full of brightly colored liquids. Scattered pages of written notes in a crabbed hand lie strewn about the chamber. A large alcove in the northwest corner contains a bookshelf groaning under the weight of heavy, dusty tomes and scrolls. Three large glass vats stand against the eastern wall, filled with bubbling green fluid. Floating within the vats are three grotesque objects—putrescent corpses, tubes and wires embedded in their rotting flesh, their skin discolored with decay and chemical stains.
A disheveled man works at one of the workstations. He turns around and spots you and seems almost startled. He stretches out his hand and says "Attack". A zombie moves out from the alcolve and shambles towards you. Another zomibe bursts out of one of the vats and moves towards you.

Sorry I was busier this weekend than expected
Maus has pretty well ignored Natty's jibes and droolings since he first spoke so it hasn't bothered him. He does glance at Cilda tho and thinks that with all the scars and mars and tattoos and horrifically overdeveloped physique, She'd be lucky to have even a half-orc think she's attractive tho...The quick look up at her is enough to send Maus a vision of her Being torn limb from limb by an ichor covered undead beast tho.
He looks away quickly.
Knowledge (religion) to determine what Maus knows about Zombies: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Are these your standard run of the mill zombies or something else?
Maus quickly locates cover behind a table and then flings a dagger at the disheveled man.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 and most likely hits him... damage1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 imbedding the dagger in the solid mass of the man's thigh.
"Cilda be careful... "
Cilda
Cilda doesn't hear Maus's words of caution. She's gone into that single minded focus of destroying everything that stands in her way. Which right now means these two zombies. She lets loose a powerful swing of her hammer on the one that came from the alcove.
Attack with Power Attack, while enraged 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 6 - 1 = 25
Holy crap yes! Please another success, PLEASE confirm! 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (14) + 6 - 1 = 19
And if that's a hit, which I assume it is... 1d12 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 9 + 3 = 22 Multiplied by 2 for my weapon equals 44 total damage to the undead that appeared from the alcove. Holy crap.
Natty Grast
Natty is almost caries away by the barbarian's show of strength and power, a smile crosses his face and his eyes open wider. He lets the word "Cilda" move effortlessly from his mouth in a long low whisper. Yet it is a fleeting moment as his mind brings him back to the problem on hand. He moves towards the man, ducking behind one of the benches.
Stealth 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

What's the judgement do?
Cilda caves in the chest of the zombie from the alcolve in a single hit. As it hits the ground, you can hear the man screaming "You will pay for your insolance!!" You then hear him curse as he begins trying to take out Maus dagger from this thigh.
The Vat zombie strikes at Ralthak as it can not see Natty.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14 The zombie's slam attack goes wide as it misses Ralthak.
You notice the man grabs something from his belt and chuckes it at Cilda.
Bomb attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 The bomb goes overhead, but Cilda and the group is still hit by an explosion of freezing energy.
4 Freezing Damage to everyone around Cilda, as well as her.
Round 2, Player Turn, Go!
Maus Sedat
I believe that Cilda is on her own there. Maus moved to cover, Natty moved to stealth and Ral followed to flank?
From the safety of his cover behind the table, Maus pulls and darts another dagger at the Alchemist. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21. which appears to hit unless my teammates got into melee first in which case the roll would be a 17 instead of 21 for 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4impaling the blackguards' other thigh just as deeply.
"Take out the controller and the undead will fall!"
Natty Grast
Natty makes his way towards the man, staying out of sight behind the lab tables and equipment, he cautiously and quietly get closer to the mad man.
I assume it will take more than 1 round to move 1/2 speed to the man. Do I need to make a stealth roll each round, that Natty remains in stealth.
