Nalita takes the chain for the tiger, sword brandished in the other. "Let us see how this battle goes, shall we?"

One contestant has a tiger attached to a leash the other a dire boar. You must protect your animal and fight the other person and theirs. Buffs are allowed before but not during that would be cheating. The man tells you.

Since today's a new day, reset spells and such. Was thinking it was the same day.

"Fluid Form would be most useful, I believe. I can already do Invisibility."

Figure I could cast Shield and Bear's Endurance before fight, use the Fluid Form on myself, then Invisibility the animal. They'll still know where it's at d/t the chain, but at least it'll have a miss chance. I can buff as needed during the fight otherwise. Sound good, or focus more buffs on the animal?

I realized today we might be waiting on me. I apologize for not mentioning I'm back, my fault. I am back though. I'll have a post up in gameplay shortly.

I didn't think about it before, but during the next 48-72 hours I'm going to have diminished posting capacity. If you want to just do the fight Nemeia, go ahead. YOu can have Nalita cast any spell you think might help she knows. Or I should be available for more readily posting sometime Monday if you wish to wait. Fine with either option.

Buffs are not allowed before hand, does that mean, for example, I can't cast Blur as part of Spell Combat?

"I am fine with either option as well. While I do possess a handful of spells remaining, my ability to channel eldritch power is still depelted from the archery competition earlier. Perhaps we let fate decide?" Nalita pulls out a coin.

"Looking around for evidence could be wise. If they start an official investigation, word could get out. Let's see what we can find out first."

I really wasn't trying to point anything out. I just made an alchemist for another game and was wanting to emulate the haste thing. Thought I was missing a discovery or something for it :(

"You have given a truly worthy battle, Ganya. I thank you for that." Nalita offers her a respectful bow.

So you use Draw to move the icons in google docs? I just took screenshots of maptools for the ones I use. Gonn have to try that.

Nalita once again charges her weapon with magic, then proceeds to cast a spell of quickening on the group while striding forward.

"I must agree, thus far the competition has been disappointing. I'd recommend offering our opponents a handicap next match, but I wouldn't wish to tarnish their honor more than by losing to us."

parrying the monk's attack with her disc of force, Nalita allows a smile to touch her lips. "Let us see what you can do." With that, she suddenly splits into numerous copies, each slashing out with a Kuroi Tsubasa of their own.

Round 0

Nalita charges her blade with magic power, using that same energy to form a disc of protection in front of her. She cautiously takes a step towards the monks, seeing how they react. "Prepare Kuroi. This one may be challenging."

Swift action for one point of arcane pool to enhance her Blackbalde, standard to cast shield.

"I think this will be an enjoyable battle." She puts the slippers on and tests them, feeling a surge of energy through her body at the prospect of the coming battle. "Not the first time I've fought on a side of the cliff, but maybe the first where it was voluntary."

Any chance we could get some basic info their team? Like how many, what they use to fight (spells, weapons).

Doh, yea, belt is returned.

"I must admit, I too am surprised. I do not have much skill with the bow. Without my spells, and of course Treiden's aid, I am not certain I could have done as well. Mayhaps in a previous incarnation, I was an archer. And good job to you as well Nemeia."

Going to watch some fights, hopefully learn about who our competition may be.

As Nemeia finished her shots, Nalita takes her own turn.

Yea, 1 minute of my bow being +4, then recall True Strike 4 times for the four attacks after the first.

I could theoretically do 9. Spell recall. It just will burn 1 Arcane Point each time. Plus I'm wanting to use 1 Arcane Point to make my Bow +4 when I shoot, which will reduce it to 8 times (once memorized, 7 for the remaining Arcane Pool). But I'm fine with the 5 and 5.

I can take the other 6 if desired. It will cost 6 of my 8 arcane pool, but all in all, I used 1 point yesterday. It could be a pain, it could do nothing, and I don't mind a gamble :)

Oddly enough, I forgot to purchase a strength enhanced bow (doh!). I just realized reading your post. Apparently my failure can be of assistance.

I do have proficiency, which I already accounted for.

"The rules do not specifically ban the use of magic to assist us as far as I can tell, perhaps I can be of some skill. I do possess magic to aid my aim."

The highest I can actually get my Ranged Attack is 8 BAB, +1 Bow, +3 Arcane Pool, +20 True Strike for +32. The Arcane Pool on my bow will last 1 minute, and I can Spell Recall True Strike if needed, though I only have 8 points in my Arcane Pool. So I probably shouldn't take all 10 at all. And it's quite possible for someone to be able to get higher than +32 as well.

Nalita will spend the morning preparing spells, then proceed to watch the fights as well.

Nalita spends the rest of the day learning of any natural sights or wonders to visit on this island, either during available time during the tournament or for after.

Seeing the beast before her, Nalita enhances the speed of those around her before moving in to engage the creature, enhancing Kuroi Tsubasa as she does so.

Nalita gladly accepts Nemeia's offer of healing. "I thank you, Nemeia, and do agree with your assessment of my arm. I am afraid I slightly over exerted myself, much to Kuroi's amusement it would seem. The insufferable thing had been gloating quite abit. As far as the meal goes, I could do with that as well."

Nalita accepts 5 points of healing, the rest able to heal overnight. Forgot about a healing item :(

Not quite understanding. Is that damage listed then?

"This will end poorly, you know," Kuroi mirroring Nalita's own thoughts. She proceeds to the first challenge, that of the Coconut. Seeing a couple of her companions prepare themselves, she considers the same, then decides not. "My own physical strength. Let us see how that goes." She whispers to herself.

"Well, that could have gone better. But I can only continue on, and keep trying." She proceeds to each of the challenges in turn, facing them with her own strength.

Nalita offers a courteous bow to the defeated monks, then proceeds to wipe the blood off of Kuroi Tsubasa. "Such violence, it's rather savage, don't you think Nalita?" Nalita sends an image of a smirk back through the link with the sword.

"A quick and decisive victory. Hopefully the rest go as well."

Nalita had allowed her mind to wander. The tournament brought back many memories, not all of them pertinent to the situation. The sudden movement of people springing to action brought her back to the world at hand, and with reflexes hones from practice, she felt herself fly into the combat.

"Don't daydream, Nalita. The battle is on." The voice of echoed in her head as she brought her attention upon the monk opposite her. In answer, she sent a surge of magical energy into her weapon. "Let's end this quickly." She thought back. Her blade began to hum with the power of the storm, lgihtning sparking it's length. She brought the weapon down with strength and accuracy upon her opponent.

Swift Action - Spend 1 Arcane Pool to add another +1 to my Blackblade as well as Shocking Burst for 1 minute.
Move Action - Move 55' up to melee range (I have reach from Enlarge Person).
Standard Action - Attack a the nearest monk (preferably one already hurt), using Power Attack.

Enlarge Person and Bear's Endurance then. Do we know if there are more than 1 fight in a day for competitior's, in case we should hold back abit for later fights.

"I have access to a variety of spells, including one similar to your haste infusion, thus I wouldn't be a good choice to carry a backup of it. I can also cast a shield myself, though grateful for the offer."

Will there be time to cast spells immediately before the fight? Might change a couple spells if so, and if we know

"The first tavern. It's been so many lifetimes ago, I honestly don't recall. I suppose Team True Strike would be acceptable. Ooh, or we could use the letters of our names, for example Netrelinake", Nalita laughs to herself at what she must find to be a joke. "Probably Team True Strike is the best option."

Nalita will also sign her name.

"A team name should be reflective of it's members. Do we all share any traits in common?" She examines her companions attempting to ascertain some theme to draw from.
