About Mystery Cult

--------------------
PATHFINDER
--------------------

Name: Heaven's Shadow Holy Church

Goal: The Heaven's Shadow Holy Church is a Cult dedicated to all the Empyreal Lords who have Darkness in their domains or actively seek how to bring goodness into the darkness. The most revered among them is Kelinahat, She on Ebon Wings, Celestial Lord of spies and intelligence - but it has more to do with the policy of secrecy of the Сult and personality of its Patriarch than with any other reasons.

Postulates:

1. Darkness does not mean Evil. The Darkness (as the Light too) is only a natural phenomenon and a tool in the hands of intelligent beings.

2. Darkness can be Good and Beautiful. The Darkness may be as true weapon of Good as Light is. Born in the Darkness creatures should have the same (or even more) rights to redemption, since we believe that the Darkness was created for Beauty but not for Evil. Those who sow evil in the Darkness must be stopped at any appropriate methods.

3. Evil should be afraid of Darkness. The Heaven's Shadow Holy Church must deal with all evil and its distributors in the Darkness, using for this task the very Darkness itself. The goal of the Cult is to make the forces of evil fear the Darkness in the future as much as they fear the Light nowadays. If Evil will have nowhere to hide, Evil will lose.

Additional tasks:

The founder of The Heaven's Shadow Holy Church, Patriarch Kaleb Vesperra, has a personal vendetta against the evil cultists of Nocticula (just as they against him). Gathering knowledge about demons and their Lords, and destroying their secret cults for is important side objective of The Heaven's Shadow Holy Church. Also, now Cult has one more goal - to stop the impending invasion of evil forces from the Dark Tapestry. Kaleb's cultists carefully collect all the information about activities of the worshipers of Great Old Ones and agents of Black Dominion - to rapidly strike at the harts of such dark sects and destroy their vile plans.

Within the Pathfinder Society:

So it turns out that the objectives of the Pathfinder Society quite often coincide (directly or indirectly) with the goals of the Cult. Kaleb Vesperra considers the Society as a great place for training Cult's Champions. Also, the knowledge obtained during the missions of the Pathfinder Society is often the object of interest of the Cult (especially in the Dark Archive's sphere of influence).

STARFINDER
--------------------

Name: Witnesses of Awakening

Goal: The "Awakening" Of The Triune - the transformation of the deity of technologies from 'neutral' to 'good'. This will happen during the final intergalactic war with the Great Ancient Evil, whose face is still hidden from the cult leader named Reverend Kaleb, who claims that he is a kind of reincarnation of the legendary hero of the past Kaleb Vesperra, who returned to the material world for this contractile mission. According to Kaleb, now is the time "to sow fields". This means create a network of cult's hidden religious units across the galaxy, strike at the cultists of destructive deities and every day prepare for the future sacred battle.

Structure: Small cells in large cities, inhabited asteroids, distant colonies. Each cell is autonomous and in addition to the general worship of the cult receives its specific patron from among the Empreal Lords, choosing who is the most suitable for a specific location - Tanagaar for jungles of Castrovel, Benorus for dungeons of Aposte and so on. All such units engaged in a brutal secret war with cultists of the Nyarlathotep, the Devourer, and their ilk, often breaking local laws, but believing that they live by their own higher law.
