Fenal spends a little bit of time talking out land, chanting in a strange language. Although nobody else can see anything, it as if they are seeing one side of a conversation. As he talks, sometimes the snow whirls and a shape is momentarily ALMOST visible before disappearing,

Fenal manages to talk to the spirits and a couple of them are willing to help the group. With their aid, he manages to lead the group down somewhat secret paths that keep the group out of the worst of the weather

Question. Do we have any salt or the like to actually preserve meat? If not, then we should just let the Ram go as we already have enough meat.

Normally, of course, I'd just assume that we have all the salt we need. But in the survival genre finding salt becomes very important

Fenal marches back into the camp, carrying 5 dead squirrels.

"I've found breakfast for the three of us. Sorry, didn't find enough for that great beast of yours. I hope that he's eaten recently"

As he tosses the squirrels by the fire one of them suddenly rises and flies of its own accord into the flames

"Riger, stop that! There is no reason to be rude!. Chinkmek. would you please be good enough to pick up that one before it burns?"

The squirrel in the flame slowly rises and floats to where the other dead squirrels lie, landing gently among them

"Thank you Chinkmek, I appreciate it"
