Jones nods and watches the window/line.

Jones follows suit and draws her firearm, but lets the others go first. She's no marksman.

Given nothing specific to the here and now Olive makes a mental note to apprise her colleagues later. "Sounds good, do we all go in, or should one of us keep an eye out from out here?"

Sorry, read through yesterday and meant to come back to and update, and some time to think.

Should always just post, rather than overthink...

Initially: Charleston(WV) unexplained 1d100 ⇒ 23 Looking primarily for any older reports that seem like they may tie in to current events. Presumably using occult skill to separate the true nutcases from the legitimate ones

Unless that opens a rabbit hole to jump down, try CHARLESTON(WV) MISSING PERSON 1d100 ⇒ 41

Upon arriving she'll let the others take lead

"Sure." Olive jumps into the back of tha car. Rapidly logging in and searching up local legends and checking for any older reports in various crackpot news sites, maybe she'll strike gold.

"The hikers and the carjacker was near the same spot, much as I'd like to research the are, perhaps we'd be better over there first. If one of you guys is up for driving I may be able to check for info on-route if I can stay connected." Olive prefers to get on with stuff.

A few questions
The Need to Know book has pretty much no info on gear, I assume I can bring along whatever's relevant? i.e. A laptop (presumably a 'clean' one without any personal files on it) either tethered to a burner phone with a data connection, or it's own 'burner' SIM. Some light, concealable sidearm (neither I nor my character are gun nerd enough to know what would be appropriate). Maybe a basic electronics toolkit, plus the contents of the 'other' go bag?

As for character updates, I will be keeping my google doc up to date as a character sheet. Will post known knowledge to my profile.

Sorry, didn't see this kick off yesterday, catching up now.

Hello there, I'll be your resident nerd and know it all.
