Deep within Mt. Dogon, Mistress Destra was in the Temple of Dogon. She sat on his stone throne in front of his statue. She had become, when he left Beriya, the High Priestess of his faith. Here she plotted the destruction of various parts of the world.

Suddenly, a giant head crashed through the stone wall. It was the Destroyer Head, her "brother"; Dogon had made both of them. She noticed strange, spider-like legs growing out of his head, allowing him to walk.

"Sister, thank Dogon I found you!" He said. His mouth still worked.

"What do you want, brother?

"I want to stay with you," he said. "I have no where else to go!"

Destra had just barely escaped the giant wyrm Jormungand. She lost the Orb of Oblivion and she had been almost eaten, but she used a Word of Recall to come back to Mt. Dogon. Her plan was to beg for her fathers forgiveness, but he was gone. There was no one to rule the Dogarr now, except her.
She sat on her father's stone throne and began to issue orders. Destra felt a vestige of Dogon's power here and she could tap into it. She would rule in Dogon's place and all of Beriya would kneel to her. The age of Gods was ending, but she was just beginning...

Destra screamed in rage. "Vile Wyrm, come at me! My Orb of Obliteration will destroy you too!"
She raised her black staff high and that was when Merlyn, flying on a giant owl, swooped down and grabbed her staff. He made sure to give her a rude hand gesture as he flew away.
Mistress Destra had time to scream "No!" Then the Wyrm of Repose was on her...

Alsokar arrived at Lighton just when Mistress Destra and her army was attacking. He saw that the city had few defenders. He conjured up twin swords of magic, and he went to fight her.

Destra laughed, and she fought Alsokar alone. The fight lasted about 10 minutes. She was very fast, strong, and fierce. She blocked his blows with her black staff. Then she struck several near fatal blows to Alsokar, leaving him broken and bleeding. Destra stood in front of Alsokar, who was lying before her, and she said:

"You are defeated, like you defeated my brother. Join me now! Renounce the Lights and fight for the Darkness! Become one of us or be destroyed!"

Alsokar looked up at her and said, "Never!" Then he spit blood at her. Destra screamed, and she struck him with the Orb of Oblivion that was on top of her staff. He was destroyed from existance.

"Destroy everyone in Lighton!" She ordered her soldiers. Destra laughed and headed for the Labyrinth of Lights...

While the armies of Lighton and Nevara clash, Mistress Destra heads for the Field of Death with her army of Dogarr, Runts, Dark Elves and others. The Runts have chains around their necks, because they are slaves.
Mistress Destra watches with amusement. Should she attack now, and let the two armies destroy each other? Or should she attack now? She hated Nevara and did not want her to rule. There was a third option. The city of Lighton had been left virtually undefended. She will take advantage of that by invading it!!!!!

Gu'lain the Dark wrote:

However, the Dark Elves did not join Nevara. They were busy with their own preparations.

Around what used to be the obsidian mountain, these elves began to slave the Runts and the Dogarr to build a mighty fortress made of black, enchanted metal. An ominous storm began to form above this fortress, casting an everlasting gloom over the Black Glass desert.

They have begun to study the ways of arcane and various black magics, finding these things easy and primitive with their druidic exprience and natural magical potential. Towers began to grow throughout the desert with dark-purple crystal resting in them, magical energy trapped inside.

As Lady Destra indeed came to life, so too did the Dark Elves cheered for her. However, Gu'lain, awaited his chance to do more than that.

Mistress Destra, with thousands of Dogarr, walked through the Black Glass Desert to the Obsidion Fortress. If it was possible, she looked pleased. She stood seven rods tall, and in her right hand she held the Orb of Oblivion, and was held fast atop a staff of black crystal.

"Gu'lain, this Fortress of Obsidion pleases me, even though you took my Dogarr and Runts...without permission! It matters not now. I command my father's armies. Even now Empress Nevara has sent an army to attack Lighton. In the west a dark power is sending a dark desert to cover Primeva, but the fool Merlyn stopped it. Now we will have to deal with him too!"

She raised her staff and said,"While Nevara attacks, we shall enter the Labyrinth of Light, because somewhere hidden in that maze is the Obsidion Sword. Oh yes, I hope Leafar is there too, so I can send him to Oblivion!"

Then she laughed for a long time...

...and she looked up at her father Dogon. She smiled, and it made her stone skin crack slightly.

"Hello father. Thank you for making me. I will bring more destruction to this world than my brother, but I have just one request."

What is that request, daughter?

"I'd rather be called Mistress Destra, father. I like the sound of it. Now leave me, please, I have much work to do."

Dogan smiled and laughed...
