Watching Colvare dart out the back door Mirra runs after him to lend some help.

Mirra watches the shifter dart forward and block the door. "Wait damn it. At least use one of the tables so we can shoot over it." She quickly starts chanting arcane words concentrating over Urthona shoulder.
Mirra jumps back reaching for her sword.
"If we can get one by himself I could put him to sleep but I don't want to run the risk of try two of the guards and only one falls to the ground. If we do this happens when you are ready to leave and the guard is missing? We can't let him go tonight unless we are prepared to finish the job."
"I don't think just talking to them will distract them enough. I can also disguise myself to go with Rayne but I think a good mock fight between the rest might be enough to get them to move away for a bit." Mirra stops and stares off in the distance. "We still have the problem of their uniforms. Unless we actually subdue two of them I don't thing we can manage the clothes and unless we plan to do it now I don't think we can make two guards disappear. Two people going missing will make our job impossible."
"Wells lets find a good place to plan it and then get the gear we need. I think we should try it tonight."
"From what I remember no one has ever broken in her yet, but who knows the Wands could have hushed up any instances of a break in to. Either way I think we have our work cut out for us." Mirra follows Shagraat away from the tower.
Mirra looks up at the tower, "Scolls of spider climb and a rope would be cheaper. We could scale the tower at night and lower a rope from the floating section and have some of the others climb up that. With a scroll of Silence and/or a well places sleep spell might keep everything quiet. But I do think we should do something soon before they do get wind of us poking around."
"Well I could try to put some of the guards to sleep and go with the whole we got some prisoners let us in ploy. Rayne and I could change our appearance to look like guards and take everyone else in as prisoners."
Mirra fumes as her obvious blunder cost them so much gold. She leans over to Colvare and whispers "I could have just charmed the drunk, it would have been cheaper. Maybe I will anyway and have him give us back our gold.""No, give the man his choice. It may make our task more difficult, but I will not coerce a man only to put him in danger." "Fine." Mirra huffs as she crosses her arms and glares at the older man.

Mirra walks up to the ostler, "When is your next scheduled drop off?" Mirra pulls out a gold coin, "Maybe we could do your delivery while you take a break and spend some time way from the Wands. Some where the Wands and any of their associates are rarely seen. Give yourself a break." Mirra rolls the coin across her knuckles in front of the man, "What do you say?"
Mirra starts asking around and finally an old mason, his hands covered in rock dust, overcomes his reticence. "Yeah, saw a girl like that. The Wands picked her up, oh, maybe two or three days ago. Dunno what it was about - they just swooped and took her - no fuss or nothing. Took her to the Old Tower, I dare say Mirra nods trying to ignore her helpful companions behind her, "Thanks for your help."
Mirra pushes her plate away, "Well lets start with Whitewash first since we now she went there and it nothing pops up we head to the tower."
“Hmmm, terrible place Sharn, full of liars and thieves,” murmurs Arrun, still pulling on his beard and gazing into space. Mirra glares at the old dwarf but manages to keep her mouth shut and not make any comments on his country run by a bunch of over zealot nuts listening to a flame for guidance.
Mirra laughs midway through drinking her wine and once she finishes coughing up her wine she adds, "Oh come now bending necks can come in handle I am sure."
Mirra grabs her glass and plate and stands. She kicks Ben's chair as she passes, "Come on grumpy let see what they have to say."
Mirra drinks some of her wine and looks at the knight. "I am curious where you got this description at. You don't seem to be the type that would be hanging out with the crew we came in with and they are about the only people we have had a lot of contact with. So I would say you have the wrong person." Mirra sits back in her chair, "Anyway what exactly are you suppose to do if you find this person you are looking for?"
Mirra looks at the waiter, "Yeah could I have some Aundairian wine and where can I go and freshen up?"
Mirra takes a quick look around to see if she notices anyone and to also see if anyone it taking notice of them more than they should.
Mirra quickly looks around and turns back to the group "Ok lets go to Candlelight and see if we can find Alidaber. If we strike out there we can always try to find Varen."
"Sounds good lets see what we can find and get this thing moving."
"Well I could start asking around and see if I can track him down."
For Mirra's group Spoiler: Mirra walks through the Thrane neighbor hood looking at all the buildings. "I guess we shouldn't be surprised she would be holed up in this part of the city. Hopefully no one else it looking for her because this isn't real imaginative of a hiding place." she says as she starts to look for a place to ask a few more questions.
Harbor group Spoiler:
Mirra spits in the gutter trying to get the taste of the last drink out of her mouth. One of the down sides of prying info from people in this kind of area. You have to be willing to drink with the people you are trying to get information from. "Well it looks like we can leave this 'lovely' part of town and head in land." Mirra says as she starts heading towards the middle of town. "Add hopefully to a better sample of ale." she finishes under breath.
Mirra follow Colvare and starts to discreetly asking around for anyone that looks like Alideber. Also asking for the best place to go to find people to hire for an expedition.
Being glad to be back on land Mirra nods, "Now that I am on land I am up for anything. Lead the way."
Mirra forces away her nausea and grabs her handcrossbow and rapier. "I am guessing that the creature in front of us is a giant squid." Mirra quickly mutters under her breath and her armor glimmers for a second.
She points the crossbow at the rail where she hears the scrapping sound. "Some think is coming over the side, be prepared. I would say try to just knock as many into the water as possible until we get to close to the squid."
It doesn't take long before Mirra realizes why she has never left Sharn. After hanging her head over the rail for several hours her rolling stomach starts to settle down. As she looks up she notices the calm area ahead.
"It seems they are.... ump...ahh... ...ready for us." She says between the occasional dry heave.
Mirra smiles but shakes her head. "Thank you but the deck is fine. I have never been out of Sharn so I would like to spend as much time as I can out here. Do you have any hammocks the we could string up?"
Mirra watches Benedetto talking to the sailor an catches the sailor warding off the Devourer. It seems the the crew has heard about the captain not paying the tribute. This should be an interesting trip. Mirra thinks to her self as she turns back and looks out over the sea.
Mirra watches several of her companions go knock on the captains door. Great, hope he doesn't get us kick off before we even have to fight the see devils. Mirra decides to remain on the main desk to cover her companions just in case the worse happens.
"I would like to look for some better armor some healing potions."
Mirra shakes her head at Colvare as the captain puts out the flames. "Subtle." she whispers under her breath. "Yes I think you will find we all have our little talents and will be more that up to the challenge of protecting this ship. When are you planning to depart?"
Mirra follows Rayne into the room and waits for him to work his charm.
Mirra stands up "I will start asking around about passage to Xen'drik."
"I might want to do some shopping but I think we should find a boat pretty quick."
"Wells lets find a boat and head out. Unless there is some unfinished business we need to take care of." Mirra walks over to Andrei, "Could you get a hold of the stuff the other Thranes used when they attacked us? It sure put several of our people down fast and didn't do any lasting damage so it might come in handy later."
Mirra steps up to the desk, "Wells when is the next ship leaving for Stormreach? We need to reach Xen'drik anyway with or without him."
Mirra nodes, "The tower it is." She grabs a roll off the table and stuffs it in her coat pocket and she stands. "Shall we head out?"
Mirra puts her fork down, "I agree with Rayne I think a bit more might be needed, unless you have got transportation already figured out?"
Mirra silently stuffs food in her mouth as they talk watching the Thranes the whole time. "The churches money is as good as any so I am alright with this arrangement."
Mirra waves at the elf as he walks away, "See you, thanks for the help." Inquisitive?? So it seems I have a little competition. Wonder who that might be.
"So where do you want to have this discussion, after our last experience with the 'Purified' I would prefer some neutral ground."
Spoiler: Mirra glares at the man across from her, "I am afraid that I don't know the individual that contacted the Medani enclave. You will have to talk to my superiors, I was only given information about the man in that was murdered."
Spoiler: Mirra smiles, "Yes my companions are a bit strange but it turned out that most of them were originally inquiring about an expedition to Xen'drik when I ran into them. There was a dispute with some foreigners and after that we decided to stick together, watch each others back."
Spoiler: Mirra looks back at the Watchmen, "I am Mirra d'Medani and I was assigned to investigate a college of the murdered man. The rest of my companions and I were going to ask him a few questions but when we arrived we found him dead. When we entered to verify his condition we inadvertently triggered the fire trap, which I am sure was left by the killer to deter pursuit and destroy any evidence."
