Mina, a little out of breath, enters the building and stands near her fire beetle. She hears Durra and Asric talking to ... someone, and waits for a response. The large insect hovers a little closer to the activity.

Mina does a double move to get back into the action. The fire beetle flies forward a bit.

Mina, not seeing anyone emerge from the other side, moves to rejoin her companions. The fire beetle hovers excitedly just inside the building.

Mina had gone around, not in, but she quickly retraces her steps.

Mina looks around and notices that one of the bandits has gone missing. "He's going to cut through the house! Keep one of them alive!" She begins moving - frustratingly slowly - through the snow toward the door on the other side.

Meanwhile, her giant beetle continues to harass the enemy facing Durra.

Mina moves 30 feet (double move in difficult terrain).
If Green raider is still up after Durra's attack, the fire beetle attacks.

Fire Beetle attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
Bite damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
If Durra DID finish off the raider, the fire beetle will instead fly 30 feet toward Mina.

Mina conjures up another flying fire beetle, which immediately attacks the bandit who just came through the door.

As a standard action, Mina summons another celestial fire beetle, which acts immediately. (Last time, I'd foolishly forgotten that summoners don't have to use a full round to case summon monster.) It attacks the Red bandit, and uses its Smite Evil ability.
Fire Beetle bite & smite vs. Red bandit: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Bite damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Mina's shield spell is still active.

Mina had readied an action (acid splash) on her last turn, to strike the first person who came through the front doors. That would be the Green raider, so he immediately gets the 3 points of acid damage I rolled last turn, assuming my roll of 16 hits him.

P.S. Viroté has been out of action for a long time. I need time to recover spells and cast rejuvenate. Mina had summoned a dog earlier, but it faded before combat started. Now for this round...

Mina, satisfied with her spell, launches another blob of acid at the same foe.

Acid Splash ranged touch attack vs. Green raider: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Acid damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1 on top of the 3 points earlier

Meanwhile, Mina's massive beetle - seeing that one foe is seemingly vanquished and the other one is sleeping (!!) - takes to the air and strikes at one of the raiders at the front door.

Mina's celestial fire beetle flies through the rooms and attacks the Blue raider.
Beetle attacks Blue raider: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

A good round for once! Note: Mina's shield spell is still active.

Mina finishes the last syllable of her spell. Inside the dwelling, in the air between the two bandits, a massive beetle appears! The size of a hound, it flies toward the enemy that Asric had just struck with his spell and attempts to inflict a painful bite.

Mina completes her summoning from last round. A celestial fire beetle appears inside the building, hovering between both visible bandits. It attempts to bite the Orange bandit, and it'll use its Smite Evil ability, too.
Fire Beetle bite & smite: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Damage if successful: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Mina says, "More company at the doors!" She readies another spell, preparing to release it at the first bandit who shows his face at the doors.

Mina readies an action. She will cast acid splash at the first bandit who comes out the door. Her shield spell is still active.

"Fabulous," mutters Mina.

She begins waving her hands and speaking in an odd, sibilant tongue. A split-second later, the brown dog at the door disappears. Mina seems to be focusing all her attention on the room beyond the window.

Mina begins to cast summon monster I (her third use of the day). The dog disappears, and a new creature will appear inside the room and attack on her turn next round.

"Damnation!" says Mina, staggering away from the arrow. "They waited long enough! Two inside!" She moves quickly away from the door, casting a spell as she does. A shimmering shield of green force appears before her.

The shaggy brown dog she'd summoned earlier looks toward her. After Mina returns the look, the dog moves through the snow and up the main stairs, ready to pounce on anyone who comes through.

Mina moves back 15 feet and casts shield. Her summoned dog (let's call him Brian the Celestial Briard) moves toward the main doors and takes the Total Defense action. I've placed him on the map. His stats can be found here.

Mina walks over to the closest window and tries to push it open. If it doesn't move, she mutters a curse, picks up the nearest rock or piece of wood, and breaks one corner of the window so that she can open the latch from the inside.

Mina, accompanied by her dog, examines the outside of the main building. She's looking for signs of recent activity, such as disturbances in the snow.

Mina walks forward and scratches the patiently waiting dog's head, though she doesn't take her eyes off the door. "Hmmm, maybe," she says in reply to Asric. She then follows Rikiru, staying about 15 feet behind him.

Mina completes her summoning, and a brown, shaggy dog (similar to a briard) appears in the spot near where Rikiru triggered the trap. The dog just stands there, happily wagging its tail and staring at the shack.

Mina stays perfectly still.

"Well, it was a good idea while it lasted," says Mina. "Let's move in." She starts moving forward, muttering arcane syllables as she does so.

Mina tsk-tsks the newly unconscious bandit. "Probably for the best," she says. "Let's keeping following the tracks."

Mina steps closer to the bandit, a cold smile on her face. "You poor man. I gave you a chance to be polite," she says. "And you squandered my good will." She plays with the tip of her dagger. "It's all gone now. And like the red vipers of Cheliax, I like to play with my prey."

Mina will also attempt to aid.

Mina walks alongside her companions. Every few minutes, she checks to see whether either of their captives has regained consciousness.

"Well, at least we finally have enemies we can speak to," she says with a smile. "Evil snowmen, fey creatures... I'm done with them!"

Mina bends down to look. "Well spotted, Durra!" Her gaze follows the tracks in the direction from which the bandits came.

"I suggest we go in that direction, at least until our new 'friends' decide to wake up and give us more information. I'm sure they'll be happy to do so, given a little persuading."

"Is anyone good at tracking?" asks Mina. "We might be able to follow their tracks back to where their 'hostage' is."

Mina assists Asric in restraining the bandits. "Evil or not, they would've been happy to kill us. We need to find out who they were hoping to get their 'ransom' for, and where she is."

She looks around at her companions. "You know, that fight went fairly well." She offers a smile. "I think we're warming up to each other."

With an angry noise that's half-snarl and half-squeak, the fearsome, massive rat tries again to bite the one standing bandit.

Mina pulls out her dagger and rushes toward the still-sleeping bandit. She holds the tip to his throat. "Keep this one alive!" she says to her companions.

One move action to draw the weapon, and another to close the distance to the sleeping bandit.

Out of nowhere, a massive rat appears next to one of the bandits and attacks the man!

In the same instant, Mina quickly speaks another word of power, and a blob of caustic liquid heads for the same foe.

A celestial dire rat appears in the spot just north of the one standing bandit (thus providing flanking with Kurra). It attempts to bite!
Dire Rat Bite: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 - add +2 if flanking
Bite Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Mina attacks the same target with acid blast. Since this is happening at the same time as the rat attack, I'm hoping that the +4 for firing into melee won't apply.
Acid Blast touch attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 - ay yi yi!
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2

On her turn, Mina will drop prone to make herself a harder target for the bows. Assuming shield is still active, she'll begin casting summon monster I (a full-round action).

I'll pass. Since their attention is on Mina, they'll surely open fire on her if she begins any spellcasting. Her shield spell should remain active for a few seconds more.

"Fine," says Mina. "I don't understand your rudeness, but fine. Which way back to town?"

She adds, "I think it's time we moved on."

At this point, Mina is waiting for one of her sneakier companions to strike first while the bandits' attention is still on her.

"Well, thank you for the information," Mina says, still smiling, as though oblivious to the threat. "We'll be going shortly, as soon as I warm up." She steps toward her fire and opens up her heavy coat, facing the men as she does so. "I warm up better this way. Did you know there are ice creatures here? We're lucky to have survived! Please be careful."

Mina is trying to lure them a little closer and keep their attention focused on her.

Mina acts shocked. "Why... my name is Mina. This is my bodyguard, Asric. We were looking for my cousin - she disappeared in this area a week ago. You haven't seen her, have you? Blonde, attractive, an ornate red necklace..."

Mina will try to deceive the bandits to give her allies time to get into position. Her Shield spell is active.

Mina calls out, "Don't shoot!" She stands up from her spot in the snow, her arms to the sides to show that she's not holding any weapons, and she brushes the snow off the front of her clothing. She does so perhaps more slowly than necessary, as though she's drawing attention to her body, the shape of which is still evident even through the winter clothing.

"I don't mean you any harm, as if I could," she says with a smile. "What are you men doing out here?"

Mina is trying Diplomacy in an attempt to get them to relax their guard. I'm assuming these men find her attractive, so her Charming trait will apply.

Mina drops low to the ground. She mutters a few syllables and makes a fist. She feels a tingle of energy as an invisible shield of energy manifests in front of her.

Once Durra tends to the fire, Mina warms herself by it. "Boys - and Kurra - I'd like to suggest that when this thrice-cursed affair is over, we all go together to a warm coastline and drink heavily."

She glances over at Rerdahl and her gaze moves down to his pocket. "How is Ghost faring, Rerdahl?"

"Thank you, Durra," says Mina. She stretches her languid body to warm up her muscles, then she examines the dead body. "What killed him? The cold or those creatures?"

"I'm well, Rerdahl," says Mina. "Heal yourself, please."

Mina looks at the ice and gingerly places a foot on it. "One of us could get across, with a rope leading back to this side, just to be safe in case the ice is fragile."

She shrugs, although it becomes more of a shiver in the frigid air. "I'll do it, if that matters. I'm fairly light," she says with a smile, "and I've been told I'm quite nimble."

Mina, relieved to see that Rerdahl is NOT on the brink of death, gets up and moves over the obviously injured Viroté. She pricks her hand with the edge of a shuriken and she presses the wound her strange companion's scales. Again, a wave of healing relief flows through Viroté.

Mina moves and casts Lesser Rejuvenate Eidolon to heal Viroté.

Invigorated slightly, Viroté slithers through the snow to attack the creature with another savage bite of his fangs.

Mina has trouble finding the source of Rerdahl's wounds. "Too much damn hair," she mutters, his voice tinged with desperation. "I like you, Rerdahl, don't you die on me!" She continues trying to stop the bleeding.

Viroté ignores the pain of his own injuries and, as Durra moves up beside him, he again strikes at the creature.

Mina will again attempt a Heal check to stabilize Rerdahl.

Viroté nearly drops after the ice creature's second strike against him, but he hisses through the pain, "You sssserve a foul master!" He attacks again with his fangs.

Mina, meanwhile, trudges quickly through the snow toward Rerdahl, and she does what she can to bind his wounds and stop the bleeding.
