Master Shaine, the mission went poorly from start to stop. We failed to get the evidence in the warehouse when it caught on fire. The cask was also engulfed. We were barely rescued. We did find and follow the thief, Parani, but she outmaneuvered us from the start. I apologize for not being the addition the team needed to be successful. Meiomi looks terribly upset. If you want to expel me from the Pathfinders I would understand.

Meiomi stands quietly in the background, willing to offer an expert opinion on the poison, but without a lot to say otherwise. Two near death experiences have changed her.

Meiomi grimaces a bit from the arrow, but bravely steps up into battle.

Meiomi slides her blade partly through the door, pulling the door back in a way that doesn't reveal Torgat and reveals her under cover. She peers out into the alleyway, looking for her target, listening in case she went invisible.

Seeing nothing she will step out of the tent, fighting defensively.

Meiomi stops to consider. Whispering, she says, If she's right outside the door, I'm going out and trying to stab her one. Erastil curse her. I'll distract her and let you summon your Eagles to try to down her. If she isn't outside the entrance, I'll head out and around to try to catch her. Does that sound like a good plan, Torgat?

Did the feet move, the ones I was watching? Since I studied the tent, can I see a way to open it easily, like the seams at the side?
Certainly seems like we need a new way out, darnit. The last thing I wanted was to let her get at us from above. The eagle is confused, maybe she went invisible? or is that smoke?

Meiomi reaches the edge of where everyone has climbed and grabs Garekk's bow. I will never climb fast enough to do damage, so I may as well try shooting with Erastil's blessing

My previous shot was at the bird attacking Torgat. My next attack is again going at that bird that has him gushing blood. Dropping bow and drawing sword while moving.

Keep careful hold on that donkey. As the flames get closer, it's going to get squirrely! I don't know how to "accept the rage" and change my stats, but I would like to accept the rage.
Having a beautiful shot, Meiomi raises her bow and says, Drop the keg or I will shoot. Any funny business, any movement aside from dropping the keg and I will shoot. I am getting too old for this!

Drinks elixir of heightened awareness. If possible, could I perch on top of the wagon, with my bow out, but lowered? I want to have a good viewpoint to see from, and in the mass of people it won't be possible....

"My suspicion will go into high gear when we get that relic, trust me, I'm already on alert. Now, do we want to get into character as porters, with guards, or some such? I've been a porter before, so I can easily fulfill that role...

Meiomi starts off at a brisk walk, stops, confused for a moment, walks back and asks, "Did we get the information on where the trade was going to happen? Lets not all rush off without knowing where we're going, unless it's back to the Pitview pub?"

"We interviewed 2 witnesses to the crime. The first had WONDERFUL peppermint healing potions that completely get rid of the chalky aftertaste commonly associated with cure light wounds, we may want to invest... Meiomi pauses a moment as Grandmaster Torch's face seems to convolute into something more hideous than normal. "Right, sorry about that, I love... nevermind. Anyway, the first witness saw the "greycloak" commit the murder but didn't have a lot of information. The second witness told us they shot the victim from a rooftop. We ascended to the rooftop gracefully, Meiomi glares at her new friends daring them to say differently. and upon examining the roof we found an arrow coated in what appears to be a poison substance as well as a note leading us to the Pitview Pub at noon. We saw Barnel running (he was the fence) and we, well Darven, took off after him and questioned him. All of our evidence leads us to investigate this pub, Sir." Meiomi finishes with a diplomatic flourish she learned when she was an ambassador.

"Oh Garekk, we really need to work on your common! This is probably the next target. How close is it to noon? We have to hustle and save this guy! Meiomi starts walking the streets to Pitview Pub, hoping she is in time to save Barnel.

”Then where are we going? Didn’t You get any other leads?”

"It may behoove us to purchase some antitoxin if they will insist on using filthy poison. What is our next interview? We got the first two witnesses, however, there was that fence, right?" Meiomi looks around for persons who may have paid too much attention to their time on the roof. "I'll keep watch while we walk over.... She pauses for a moment and drinks an elixir of Heightened awareness. "There, Just the boost I need to keep me on my toes and such. I call this little concoction Red Mare"

Meiomi continues to work distractedly on something. Finally, someone calls her name and she looks up, "Hrm. What were you asking? Did anyone find anything? Oh, yes, this arrow here. You see the fine coating on it? I believe it is a poison of some type."
She begins to pull out her portable alchemy crafting kit and looks completely prepared to test the substance on the arrow.

Interesting. Also, the arrow was found here, which gives any sniper a perfect shot at a target. The substance I found may help us find the correct culprit, as the poison used usually indicates a particular personality."
Meiomi finally looks up at the bemused expressions of her companions. "Sorry sorry, I think that is all to find up here. Shall we attempt the descent?"
