"Ah." the manservant processes the information "Yes. I understand. No, I was not made aware of this matter by anyone. Nor do I believe Madame was told."
There is a pause as its mind kicks over the problem "I would like to make an official complaint. The tenant in the lower floor has engaged in an unregistered and dangerous alteration of the premises."
Wow, good roll! You're in!

Per +11

"Oh no. I have excellent hearing. When the rocks appeared there was no noise of someone moving rocks. They simply fell to the ground. That happened several times. I did not complain as residents are allowed to perform loud maintenance from ten till six."

Per +11

"The resident below" the Manservant hums slightly for a moment "What do I know? I know I have not seen the resident below since he moved in. That was 23 days ago. 7 days ago the rocks appeared at the bottom."

Per +11

"I'm terribly sorry. I'm afraid Madame is currently in the Mana Wastes. May I take a message?"

Per +11

A manservant appears at the far end of the hall
"The fire is out", he announces."

Per +11

sword: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33
damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 3) + 6 = 12
The construct spins around, turning the force of Diene's strike into a counterattack.
All players are up

Per +11

sword: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (14) + 16 = 30
damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 1) + 6 = 8
The Construct steps forward, using his sword to push the Sergeant out of the way. While it leads with the edge, it seems more trying to threaten than actively hurt.
Grunting the sergeant braces to take the hit, and refuses to move.
Reluctantly the construct informs him "I am now required to use lethal force"
Isama, Mia and Ophelia are up!

Per +11

@Mia - that's a couple of rounds of actions. I'd like to give the others a chance as well, so going to hold off resolving all of them.

Mia, round 2:
Arcane Lock - and a sheet of lead, judging by the way you can't detect through it.

"Very well. I will not stop you standing by the door, but you should evacuate the building." the construct agrees as Mia starts moving

"My current order is Top Priority: 'No-one is to enter the summoning room under any circumstances.' This was a direct order, and has priority. My orders around fires are of lower priority. I was informed of the Fire by a gardener."

"I may be damaged, however only my owner or maker may countermand my current order. I will then head to maintenance."

knowledge:arcana dc 20:
Sounds like user error: probably the owner didn't mean for the order to be that strict. Probably the owner was just using emphatic terms. Regardless, the construct seems stuck now.

pausing at Mia putting her gloves on

Per +11

"The Circle is active. None may pass."

Per +11

"I suggest the rest of you beat them to the stairs." offers the remaining manservant.

Per +11

The other two manservants dash off.

Per +11

Assuming Mia is okay with it - I don't want her stuck out here all game, clever as the solution is
The new manservant walks to Mia. She emits a grinding noise, and a second later Mia vanishes.
"Quick." states the skirted manservant to the others "She has run down the stairs. You guard the stairs. You go downstairs and search around until you find her. I will stand here and stop others entering."

Per +11

"Do you want me to distract them?" Asks the unburned manservant.

Per +11

As they approach the front door the woman shimmers, and suddenly resembles the mechanical constructs - though dressed in the same clothes.
"I know the prime summoning circle was active. Has been for hours."

Per +11

"Click, click click" reports the manservant , depositing Mia outside.

Per +11

The manservant on the right attempts to gently restrain Mia.
grapple: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (19) + 18 = 37
This does provoke, if anyone wants to take an AoO beforehand. At this point the grapple is 'gentle' - under most circumstances this would not be harmful. Sadly, it's on fire.

Per +11

The manservant on the left cocks his head as Mia talks, then the burned metal frame of his face-mask moves as if trying to talk. No noise comes out, however.

Per +11

The servants raise their left hands, gesturing for the group to stop.

Per +11

As the lights in the eyes dim the construct's voice slows and slurs
"Sandru... Sand...ru... sor...ree...so..so..."

Per +11

The Manservant looks at "Unruhue", then at the Earl, then Agnes.
Midfwife, she said. But she didn't understand.

"Hareton. You walk the Dark Road. It is never too late to turn back."

Left unsaid, the poem he references continues "But every easy step taken down that dark road must be re-tread in pain to return to the light."

As he speaks he walks to La Siréene. He opens his chest towards her and a flood of water rushes out, Elspeth's limp body with it.
"I haven't given up on the man who fought along side me."

La Siréene:

Inside the cavity, protected by some sort of glass case is a small book. The glass case is covered in conduits and wiring.
Might want to ask Network how much you know about Soulbound dolls?

"La Siréene. This body is mine. I give it to Olivia. I hope you understand - Jornel never would. Please replace my heart with Olivia's,"

Per +11

network:
Just wanted to highlight manservant is a vivisectionist archetype alchemist. Happy for him to be wrong.

Per +11

"Good lord man - I'm a robot butler and I can see you're on the wrong track. I'm sure the professors agree with me!"
The Manservant looks at Caromarc and Ianez for support.

Per +11

"In her brain? Her brain? You are a fool or a charlatan Mister Hareton. I don't doubt her control - shaky as it might be - is located inside her prefrontal cortex, but it is obvious to any real scientist that it must be located within her peripheral nervous system - i.e. her spine! Do you think her physical state a coincidence?"

The Manservant lets loose with vituperative insults knowledge: nature (can be used as heal): 1d20 + 11 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 11 - 1 = 19

Per +11

There is a pause while the Manservant considers
"Yes. Yes. Let's move!"

Per +11

"Too late? I will not lose the boy, Jornel. I will not."

Per +11

"Sandru!" the Manservant shouts, raw concern in his buzzing voice.

"NO! No! Not him! I will not have it Jornel!"
he runs to the edge Sandru vanished from

"It seems your girlfriend is on our side" crows the Manservant

Per +11

MM's attack: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 11 + 2 = 20damage: 2d4 + 16 + 3 ⇒ (2, 4) + 16 + 3 = 25
no flank or good hope because of when the action started I think
"You call these minions?

Per +11

Assuming MM's 8 damage hit the DR 2/magic and 5 points turned into nonlethal?

Per +11

MM can go, and let Sandru have his flank.
Manservant steps between his friends and advances inexorably on the minions of darkness
Move to F10. Provoking from both thralls.
"What is he? A destroyer. A killing machine."
Wait to see if MM lives through the AoOs before attacking...

Per +11

"Move aside!" the Mansevant demands, pushing Quinn away, something small and sharp in the tool-sprouting metal mayhem that pass as hands.

A sudden movement with irresistible strength punches into the dwarf

network:

using a shot of "mixed antivenoms, antivirals, antibacterials and various synthetic gland secretions" - ie potion of lesser restoration.

Per +11

network:

Would MM think that an injection of Lesser Restoration might buy Hergelund some time?

Per +11

"Leave the boy alone!" buzzes the manservant, swinging his scythe

Advancing on the Bone Golem, the Scythe-wielding Servitor brings it down again.

network:

Is he free?

Per +11

Pushing through the storm - and Blackacre - the Manservant moves towards the Golem d29, double move, with expeditious retreat still going

Per +11

With a shouted "Unhand that lady, Sir!" the Manservant blurs forward, racing around the hulking gorilla-thing that has grabbed La Siréene

Per +11

"Shall I stow Miss Elspeth, sir?"

Per +11

"Of course, sir" the manservant agrees, some strange inflection in his voice.
The manservant walks through the entranceway.

Per +11

As he saw the tower appear the Manservant was already activating the alchemically pure fuel that increases his strength.

When the Earl commands Full speed, he injects himself yet again. Mutagen, then Expeditious Retreat, if there is time.

Per +11

"Miss S? You're alive? That is good news"

Per +11

"Of course, sir" turning to Sandru
"With your permission master Sandru, might I draw the hand from your baggage? I suggest you may wish to move away a little."

Per +11

"Obviously I would normally be the best choice to hold this devestating item, but the implications for Elspeth would be terrible. If someone has an alternate way of holding her I am happy to hold the hand."
How much does the hand weigh?

Per +11

"I hate to be negative, but might I point out that there is a small army of the breathing impaired trying to break through to us"

Per +11

Suddenly all business, the manservant turns to Sandru, his hands sprouting tools.
"Let me help, Sandru"
disable device aid another: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
"Perhaps the others might like to cut these blades down?"
No point in worrying them about the long term repercussions if they don't survive this.

Per +11

Network:

Would Mending cast upon the controls potentially bring them back to functioning?
Potentially MM could aid another on Sandru, and pull out the tools?
I believe Ianez aided Sandru, but he didn't include the bonus.
Archon blasts ignore DR. Does that mean they could be good for cutting through the blades? What does it look like the blades are made of?
