Echoing what has been said before, it sounds like your problem is with the people you play with, not the system. In our last major campaign, we suggested to one of the players that he leave as he was playing an optimised character and his attitude towards character generation didn't fit in with that of the group. It's not a right or a wrong thing, it's a compatibility thing. The last character I made - an inquisitor - used a light mace and had ranks in Profession: cook. If I was ever in a setting in which I suffered for making non-optimal choices, I wouldn't play. PS Try Zombie Fluxx!! :D
Immune to Critical Hits: * Aeon
Immune to Precision Damage (like Sneak Attacks) * Elemental
Immune to Flanking * Swarms From: this page.
Real life has obviously got in the way; it happens. Shame, as it seemed a decent group and, for me, a good introduction into PbP roleplaying. Hopefully, whatever is keeping DM (and any others) away isn't too bad. I've got this listed so if it does take off again, I'll see and. hopefully, get to be included.
For the DM: Thinking of a CN Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum (Domain: Chaos).
On behalf of the church, he's travelled to Brindenford to recruit/join up with a party to enter Dragon's Delve to recover an item/artifact believed to have been lost there. It's also an initiation test. Mechanically, it brings a combination of combat, spells and general utility to the group.
I'm interested. This would be my first PbP so be gentle. :) Am I right in thinking that the party consists of: Selina: Elven Paladin
Happy to play anything: what do the players feel the party needs? Where would I be joining the group? Brindenford? |
