Male Half-Elf Wild Stalker 7
![]() Marcus is glad for the quiet night. He'd spilled quite a bit of blood that day, both his and others. He accepts Ascaria's hand and smile and retires to her room. He brings Apollo with them and sets the heavy dog to sleep in front of her door. A formidable weight to block entry. They were both tired and he would like nothing more than to go to sleep in her arms, a comfort he honestly had not thought he would feel again. ![]()
Male Half-Elf Wild Stalker 7
![]() Marcus and Apollo work the room as usual. Ascaria had done a great job of cleaning and hiding his wounds. Things were covered up, so to appearances he looked 100%.

![]() Marcus half expected an angry slap. An admonishment of some kind. Instead he was greeted by a face that had obviously been crying. The great hug was initiated by her, but he returned the embrace with all his heart. For only the second time in his life he felt as a man being loved simply for being who he was. Ascaria new his failings and loved him anyway. Screw the shift, it can wait.... He picks the frail girl up in his embrace and closes the door.

![]() Marcus wanted to shout at the man. Hit him. But he was learning who paid him and that there were others here who cared about this team. He hadn't asked his friends to charge in after him.

![]() Calm yourself friend. You got away clean and believe it or not I was let off without charge. That bystander backed my story that Badeye attacked us. It was a bad day for him. We killed many of his men, he didn't get a coin and now the Gendarmes are after him. We are OK. Now tell me, what became of Ascaria? ![]()
Male Half-Elf Wild Stalker 7
![]() Not hearing a reply from Ascaria's room Marcus worries a little. But she may not have returned yet. He hears Saul shout and heads into the common room. Apollo, Heel! The dog happily bounds over to his Master and sits down, finally getting the pat he was after.
Then as an afterthought he nods to Saul.

![]() Thank-you. Marcus dips, and carefully moves Andrezi off the street and next to a building while the gendarmes canvas the area and he awaits the cart. When it arrives, he hops aboard with his friend and enjoys the irony of the situation.
He pats Apollo. The dog dig very well. He continued to worry though, they were no closer to finding Larur, but at least the patrol leader was competent and would look into...Goddess. I never mentioned St Casperian's! He broods the rest of the way back. Arriving, he tips the driver a gold coin and carries Andrezi in. The monk was on duty.today.

![]() There were 7, including Andrezi here. We were looking for our friend Larur, a dwarf he was supposed to show for work yesterday and didn't. Marcus then looks at the bomber once again. Your help says I owe for more than a window. Marcus sorts his coins and palms the man 5 platinums, no need for the watch to see the amount. He then stands and awaits the officer's decision.

![]() We were down here looking for a friend. This 'Badeye's' thugs launched a daylight ambush on us. We were trying to get away, since these 'beggars' were shooting at us and had better numbers. They gave pursuit and were surrounding us. I smashed his window hoping to make a stand in an empty building but changed my mind. We ran again and Andrezi was caught. I do not leave friends behind. Marcus keeps the dog on a short leash and commands Sit pushing the dog down if necessary. He glances around at the other bodies as if the nature of their deaths should be obvious. They tried to take his friend. He looks to the bomb thrower.

![]() Marcus grabs Apollo by the collar and pulls the dog to him. Patting and soothing the animal guardian. He won't bite if you don't attack
Please, do you have a healer? Andrezi is hurt, he needs aid. ![]()

OK. I have successfully had that in RL games but it those my GM gave the companion his own initiative. That would slow things down though. It's cool. ![]()

![]() The hand's stab was vicious and Marcus could see how badly surrounded they were.
Apollo seeing his Master Attacked Moves to DL 47 to get at the Hand. Apollo bite1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Marcus makes a Retaliatory strike against the Hand who just hit.him.
He then 5ft steps to DL46 to put Tippy within a step of a Flank as Marcus attempts to kill the bandit in DK46.
Waife is it cool if Marcus delays on all his turns to let Apollo go first when the dog is in 'Guard' mode? The idea is Marcus uses the dog as a bodyguard to harry/trip his opponent before Marcus attacks? This is because Handle Animal states in Guard mode, the dog auto attacks whomever hit Marcus last round. Marcus would know this ![]()

Yeah, sorry about that. Posting at work in between rounds from my phone and didn'tdouble check. Cheers. EDIT:After that last hit I took I am at 10HP. Looks like Marcus's awesome killing skills aren't gonna get the job done...:( ![]()

![]() Seeing Tam struggling and needing to thin the number's of their enemies Marcus attempts to fight on 2 fronts. He 5 ft steps to the left in order to flank with Tippy. Then he stabs at the flanked enemy with his Scimitar
and lashes out at the foe to the east with his Cestus
Apollo staying on his Master's heel steps to occupy Marcus's previous square and attacks the first Bandit
