I don't believe it's illogical at all. The liquid is only triggered by air. The plant itself doesn't trigger the explosion. There are chemicals that react to air or water by exploding. It makes sense that if I slice open this monster, it would explode via contact with air. In biology, anything is possible.

Also, if we're going to say plants don't explode. We can also say that lizards don't breathe fire. This is a fanatasy game. :)


This one is my favorite! I love how the pyrebloom came about, and can definitely see myself using this monster in a campaign. And of course, the imagery of this monster is horridly beautiful.


It's just a flesh wound!

She first hesitates to climb down as she watches her poor friends from the cliff. Majest gathers up as much courage as she can and takes the plunge down.

Majest reaches for her sling in her back pants pocket, along with a bullet, then takes aim.

Hit:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18


Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11


Majest's eyes grow with fascination at the grand tales. Once the stories are done, she goes over with Carys to help with the ropes with a bounce in her step. She's appears to be in a much better mood.

Int: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14


Majest is visibly nervous. She's obviously trying to avoid looking over the edge by distracting herself with pebbles and sticks on the ground. At one point she's drawing with a stick, and at another she's pushing pebbles with a stick to make certain patterns. The most noticeable thing is she's quiet.


Majest smiles at the joke of riding on the camp stuff down to the bottom. However, as she peeks over the edge, her smile soon fades away.


Majest isn't crying anymore, but when she pulls her rations out of her backpack, she stares at it for several seconds before biting down into it.

Majest silently nods in agreement to Sarai's suggestion. Although the nightmare has gotten her a little down, it seems likely that she'll get back to her bubbly self in no time.


"How can food betray me," Majest sniffles, "I... love food..." She begins bawling like a hurt child.


"That sounds great! I can make a sand castle... or a message in a bottle!" Majest raises her head in thought. "Does anyone have a bottle and cork I can use?" she asks with cute puppy eyes.


Majest lets out a huge grin, "You're welcome. Ooooo, I can help track down the ship! Maybe... there can be secret treasure! Or a secret map! Or a secret something else! We can be exploring partners! I'll be Explorer... Lois and you can be... Explorerrrrr... Clark! Yeah, that's good! Do you like Clark? Because if you don't, you can pick something else.


Majest wakes up with a huge grin on her face, ready to start the day. She shoots her arm into her backpack and pulls out her rations. She satisfyingly gnaws on her tough jerky.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11


Majest's face lights up as she gets an idea, "How about monkey jerky! I mean, it's already dried out anyway. Half our work is cut out for us. Mmmmm... that sounds delicious!" She rubs her tummy with both hands in a circular motion.

Majest answers Sasha, "Of course, we're friends! And it'll be tons of fun!" She does a little happy dance as if she cannot contain her excitement.


Majest casually walks up to Ilarian. Soooo... when are you going to get one of those flying lizard things?" she asks rocking on the balls of her feet and heels. She continues, this time with a burst of excitement, Because I can help you get it! Or... or I can help Sasha take care of it! I think it would be reeeeeeally fun! And we can teach it tricks and play with it! In a fast pace, she goes on rambling about the flying lizard to the point of her sentences becoming completely incoherent.


"I'm starving!" Majest loudly states when she wakes up. She reaches into her backpack for some grub, and begins her morning munch routine.

Majests whispers excitedly,"Really? Like what?" When Carys walks away to go to sleep, Majest keeps a lookout for strange things. What did she mean by strange things? What would be considered "strange"? Like supernatural strange? Did she see a ghost!? That would be pretty...

Her thoughts are interrupted by her own eyes catching a glimpse of what might've been a dragon! Her mouth gapes at the idea. What else could it possibly be? That was one crazy big shadow to not be a dragon! Her first reaction would be to run off, wake the others, and tell them what she thinks she saw. However, she realized that it wasn't much to brag about because she didn't see the dragon itself. She'll just let Kabur know when it's his shift.

Man, I didn't know that being on watch can be soooo borring... "Oooooo," Majests follows one of the flying reptiles.


"What watch am I doing? I can see pretty good in the dark too!" Majest squeals for attention, arms waving in the air.


"Sounds good to me! Who'll be the 'good watch?'" Majest asks while playing with the sand.

Majest reopens the backpack and reaches in for the logbook and map case. She takes each out, handing the items to Kabur one by one. Then, she takes out one of her rations to stuff her face with. Once Ilarian gets to Carys'n being on everyone's case, Majest laughs through her full mouth. After she swallows some of the food in her mouth, she looks at Ilarian funny with a scrunched up nose paired with a wide smile, "She only seems to be on your case." She resumes chewing the rest of the food in her mouth.


Oh, nevermind. I have rations in here," Majest says, patting her backpack. "I was just all for snake if we had any," she smiles a little disappointedly.


As Majest places the maps in her case, she half-listens, if even that, to the guy that always seems to be such a downer. Going off subject she asks, "Did you find the snake?! Does it happen to be what the food is?! I love snake!" Her stomache starts making all sorts of noises, which prompts her to also question, "Can we eat some snake now?"


"See, Look!" Majest opens her backpack and kicks it over. Everythings spills out onto the beach. Majest picks up various maps and holds them out for Sasha to see, but only for about a few seconds each. Everytime she comes across her own stuff, she sets it aside with a "That's mine." Finally she comes across the logbook, and shows it to her in the same manner she did with the maps. "Neat, huh?!" A thought comes to her as her eyes enlarge, "I can put these maps in my map container for safekeeping!" She picks up her map case and wiggles it in front of her.


Majest slightly wobbles side to side as she walks with her bulky backpack. The look on her face accompanied by her tongue sticking out shows that she's concentrated on walking.

Her backpack should be equal or more to her weight now. That's assuming that the logbook is 3 lbs. or over.


Majests swipes the maps and logbook into her backpack while Kabur is in mid-sentence."I sure can!" She begins working on the lock.

Disable Device: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

I'm taking the -2 penalty for not using a thieves' tool kit.


"Yuppers!" Majest rushes over to help pull out some drawers. This is fun!

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16


"Ooooo! Ooooo! I do!" Majest volunteers.

I guess if you consider all its innards becoming outards "dead". I know, horrible joke. :)


Seeing Kabur and Sarai struggling with the capricious deck, Majest decides to load her sling to attack from where she's standing.


"Uh-oh," Majests let's out with a smirk.

Initiative1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18


Once Majest hears noises from below the decks, she tries to be more quiet with her steps.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

If this is a failed attempt, it's because she was giggling for some unknown reason.


Majest excitedly hops onto her mini horse to follow the rest of the riders toward the wreck.


Once Abshail frees the man, Majest happily exclaims, "Yay!"

"Oooo! Investigate," she responds in a hushed voice, as she does the whole cliched lookout gestures.


After listening very intently to Jask's story, Majest decides, "That's good enough for me! He seems like a nice guy. Let's let him out. Those ... things look uncomfortable." She makes a funny scrunched up face as she points to his manacles.


"Hey, all my bullets are still in my pocket! How awesome is that? You'd think that at least most of them would have fallen out, right?" she says happily as she digs through her pockets. She hops toward the pile to grab her things, gets dizzy, then swerves the rest of the way there.

A huge gasp escapes her as she holds up her wet bag. "Look at how clean it is! I've been meaning to clean this thing for years! I'd have to say that this trip has been going pretty smoothly, huh? I mean, with the exception of those crab things, but we took care of that problem," she says with a they-were-nothing hand gesture.


Majests sits up with a confused look on her face, "I must have dreamt I was on a boat! And all of you were there!" Pointing to the scorpian/crab creature, she says slowly,"Except that guy."

She gets up, and tries to shoot the creature with her sling from where she's standing.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Dmg: 1d3 + 0 ⇒ (2) + 0 = 2

Majest begins cracking up with a firm pat on his back, "Not like that, silly!" Thinking he misunderstood she explains with a smile on her face, as she points to her map, "We mean ad-ven-chur-ing. You know, exploring different regions of land. It has nothing to do with lovemaking."


An even bigger grin spreads across Majest's face. "Really? That would fantastic!" She looks towards Gelik, awaiting a response to Carys' comment with great anticipation.


Majest nods and smiles at Carys' sentiment with an, "It's okay. They knew the risks when they escaped to an unexplored land." When Majest brought the map out, she tried to position it as best she could, so they both can see it. "Yup! That's what I was planning on doing, unless anyone wanted to join in," she laughs. "I'd say that it took both my mother and father about a decade, and my father about almost 30 years alone. Well, I was with them too. My mother had me about when they got out here," she exaggeratedly nods with crossed arms.


"Oooo, stories! Stories are fun! Let's see... well, I'll start off with that I've been in the Mwangi Expanse my whole life," she explains with raised hands lowering to her sides. "My father and I, well he passed away recently, but we...," sighing, she says, "Let me start that over. My mother and father came here to explore the Mwangi Expanse. They were really feeling the effects of the bleaching. I guess being a slave isn't that exciting, huh?" she chuckles. "Well, recently my father passed away too, so he gave me his unfinished map while he was dying. After mother died and all, we tried exploring all that we could. Good times, but now I'm going it alone! The map's nowhere from done, but I'll finish it!"

Majest quickly stands up in her chair and takes her map case from her back, which was taller than her while she was sitting down. She sets it on the table with a big clunk. She excitedly opens the top and grabs the map out. Laying it in front of the other gnome, she points to different places on the map, which has hurried scribbles all over it. She warns of going near the south of Lake Ocota and The Screaming Jungle, and speaks of a sort of market place for all kinds of creatures to sell and buy goods with one another as her bright, orange eyes widen to the point of looking like the tops of oranges.

Essentially, she just keeps talking and won't shut up. :)


Outside the common room, you can hear small foot steps seemingly running in random directions. After a few minutes of it, a nearly 3-foot tall lime green-haired woman comes in, pushing the door with both hands. Once she sees everyone, she squeals with delight. How exciting! This is going to be so much fun! She notices it's a little cramped, so she says her high-pitched hello's as she walks under tables to find a seat. She eventually climbs onto a seat in the middle of the room. "Perfect," she grins.

For the CMB and CMD, they use a different size modifier table than AC does. Getting smaller actually decreases your CMB and CMD. So, for your character, your CMB would be 0(BAB)+(-1)(Str)+(-1)(Size) for a total of -2. Then for the CMD it would be 10+(-2)(CMB)+3(Dex) for a total of 11.

I must admit to being a little mystified by your skill choices as well. A rogue without Stealth or Acrobatics is rather unusual.

Currently I'm thinking of doing a Paladin. I'll try to finish her up and then we can start.

Haha, I accidentally put the rank into Knowledge (religion) instead of Stealth! And I was thinking of putting points into Acrobatics later.

For leather armour it says that I have a +2 bonus. Isn't that added into AC?

Also, what's my light mace's attack bonus? Is it correct?

Okay, I think I fixed everything, but I'd like you to check it again just to make sure. :)

*I changed my CMB to -2.

*Since I increased my Dex, I kept my CMD at 11.

*I have 11 skill points assigned since I chose to have an extra one instead of HP.

*I copied and pasted your def of the gnome magic trait. Why reinvent the wheel, right? lol

*I changed my AC since I changed my Dex and made sure the +1 size bonus was in there.

*And I changed my Dex and lowered my Con. I had most of them at 14 at first, then the Con went up because of my gnome stuff. I looked at it and thought, "Hey, that doesn't make sense does it?" lol

I have a couple of questions: 1) I thought the +1 size bonus goes for CMB and CMD. Can you explain it to me? 2) With my +1 to Knowledge (engineering) and it being a class skill because of the Boarding in Mwangi Expanse trait, do I put 4 in the Misc. Mod?

Haha, that's funny. What's the other character idea? I can't have character ADD because I take forever on character sheets. It would be a nightmare for any group I'm in. @.@


I got most of my character done. I just forgot to add two character traits and I need to fix my equipment and skills, and, of course, whatever Allan finds wrong with it. But yeah, it's up! I'm sorry for taking FOREVER. :)
