Ah, that is true. I do most of my posting on my laptop so it works fine for me.
Everything else I have ever used, including Roll20. It takes more time because it's literally a blank slate, but I don't mind putting in the extra effort as long as I get what I want.
I prefer google docs because it's more customizable.

I'm just ready to move on and keep exploring. There is plenty of uncharted territory still.
"Alright then, sounds like a plan. Want to do anything today or wait until the morning?"
Yeah, I'm playing Lector in that game. I was stunned.
I just had surgery. Nothing life threatening, but I'm going to be in a lot of pain and on a lot of drugs the next week. Please DMPC as necessary.
"I like that plain Kailee. I say we do that."
"Long term planning is good. I'll be honest, I didn't entirely follow what was going on. What are our options?"
Maekrix sits down and gets a big plate of food in front of him. He takes a bite then turns to the older members of the group. "So. I can't be the only one who's a little lost. What's the plan?"
No worries DM. Personally I'm ready to move on.
Maekrix had been lost on most of the conversation, but finally he brings himself back in. "How sure are you that a poison would work?"
"I agree with Khargol. No use making an enemy of everybody we disagree with. We can't make any change happen if we're dead from our own foolishness. If the time comes to kill her, so be it. Let us fight with her...for now."
Maekrix nods with Zeleysa. Do we trade one killer for another?
Maekrix's gaze slowly gets more and more furrowed in anger. "And what then, once you have crushed the tribes under your rule and there is no more uncivilized lands to conquer? Where do the conquests end?" He swings down his earthbreaker with a dull thud into the ground to emphasize his point. Then he whispers. "Trust me, that's a dark path you're going down..."
Maekrix raises a brow, also curious for the answer.
Maekrix remains silent but on high alert. He didn't know enough about the situation to be doing anything just yet, except that its fragile diplomacy going on.
Maekrix shrugs. "I used to be in a pretty dark line of work too. People change."
Maekrix tilts his head curiously, resting his earthbreaker on his shoulder. "Not even into the woods and I already see something new. I'd shake your hand if I thought it wise." He grins.
"Tomorrow it is! Let's seal the deal with drinks and cards!" He takes out a worn deck and waves for another round.
"When are we away?" Maekrix slams back the last half of his drink. "Soon, I hope." He grins and belches.
Maekrix smiles, apparently not bothered at all by being used as a wall by the halfling. "Oh no, I've tried my hand at ruling. I'm going to leave that to the little, smart people."
"You wanna know how I got these scars? Standing between the healer and our enemies."
Maekrix roars a laugh and puts a reassuring hand on the healer's shoulder. "See these scars? That means I'm the one who gets stabbed. As long as you stand behind me I promise to take your share of the stabbing too, long as you use your magic to get me back up!"
A towering hulk of a man with broad shoulders and the frame of a tree is sitting on a precariously small stool, loose grin on his face as he taps his foot along to the music. He has straight, light-brown hair that he keeps combed back but otherwise hangs free to the nape of his neck. There are numerous scars on his arms and chest and even a few on his face, but his deep brown eyes and easy-going grin gives him a rugged handsomeness despite his somewhat crooked nose. On his back is a massive earthbreaker as well as a wicked looking battleaxe, and he has four chakrams strapped to his arms and legs. He listens to the warning from the formal half-orc and grins, standing up and nearly grazing the roof. "My name is Maekrix Thatheo, and these lands are what I grew up in. I'm going to keep peace between the civilized people and the wildlings." He grins again at healing. "I do what you'd call proactive healing. I'll kill your enemies before they can hurt you in the first place."
This looks like a very lively discussion thread! Hello everybody, I am your newest addition, Maekrix "Blackheart" Thatheo, the bloodrager with a dark past. I'm excited to get started!
Maekrix slumps against the wall, clutching his arm. "Well that hurt. Do any of you heal?"
Maekrix steps between the beast and the party, roaring and bringing his greatsword down on it.
Maekrix points to the scratches in the ground. "Something else is here." He takes his greatsword off his back, leading the way.
Heart pounding, Maekrix finishes the climb with a smile. "Bloody armor, weighs down the hook." He yells down to Hazel. "Climb's easy! Just use the rope!"
Well hopefully it's a normal wall. With the help of a rope the DC should be 5.
Maekrix takes out his rope, fixing a grappling hook to the end of it and tossing it until the hook has a good grip, giving it a few tugs before beginning the climb.
Maekrix looks up at the waterfall and whistles. "Well I suppose we could have picked a worse time to do this."
Maekrix has his fill of fun at the festival, spending his time doing three things. Courting various girls, wrestling anybody that challenges him, and drinking. By the time the old man comes his head is buzzing pleasantly and he's riddled with new bruises. ~~~ Maekrix glances around at the gathered people, but when the old man chooses he just stares in surprise. It's not until the ceremony as at it's end that he breaks out in a smile, grabbing his pack and greatsword off the ground. Let's go see what the big deal is about this ceremony. He makes his way over, grinning ear to ear.
Maekrix grunts. "Keep me updated. You know I'll lend him a hand if he needs it."
Maekrix frowns, setting the fire to melt the ore and standing up. "Is Swiftbreeze doing anything about it?"
Maekrix smiles. "Aye, that's one of mine. Put the weight near the handle, you can swing those little blades quicker that way."
You can just DMPC them and do reasonable actions for their class, taking the safe route to keep them alive if possible.
Maekrix roars his laughter. "I'd like to see you try you short bearded bastard!" He chuckles, putting his horsehide gloves back on. "Don't worry 'bout me mentioning it to anybody though, don't see the sense in causing worry."

Maekrix glances up from his work as Gundar walks in. He likes the dwarf, he was a man of honor. Knew his steel too. At the mention of the signs he sets down his tongs and walks over, taking his horse-hide gloves off. "Odd signs? Some weird animal wandering around?"
