That said, "personal choice" isn't a viable defense for murder, except maybe in Texas.

Murder is a tricky topic Kirth. There are a wide range of instances where one persons murder is another persons freedom. Abortion, Stand your ground laws, Death Penalty, and even vaccines, Dr. assisted suicide, Persistent vegitative states etc etc.

That said, my Texan children and I are are vaccinated against nearly everything the lone exception being influenza. The vaccines effectiveness in preventing influenza respiratory illness can be as low as 30%-40% so nothing gained nothing lost in my opinion.

GM Rolls:

Mummy Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 19
BadMucus Shot: 1d20 + 6 + 20 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 20 = 27
random miss mechanic: 1d20 ⇒ 20
WTH!?!

BadMucus drinks a potion then fires an attack he thinks he's being slick but he was totally seen doing it. The arrow sails and sails seeming like it would never come down when all of a sudden a medium sized eagle falls from the heavens, an arrow with yellow fletching pierced through its neck.

Mummy:Hey you breaking the rules, you disquali.....

The eagle hits the ground

Mummy: get 10 points for eagle!!!!

The crowd of goblins erupt into cheers, an eagle of this size can feed the goblins for... hours?

Well you forgot the bow attack. So I rolled it, and then got a one, then I consulted the table and you got a 20. To make matters worse Mummy saw you drink something and is keeping an eye on you now. Oh adjudication how I loathe you

Critical hits are part of the game Lastshade. I also encountered that amazon pet and she is indeed tough. At times it is hard but remember, no matter how much life and story you have breathed into a character, it is just a sheet of paper with numbers on it at the end of the day. Nobody I know enjoys their characters dying, but there are no rules governing one shot kills, and it would take away from the game if there were such rules. At the end of the day just remember Crit Happens

Would I be out of line in giving a small bonus (+2) to characters that played in Mists of Mwangi to influence Nigel or to Hamaria if the PC's used played Penumbral Accords?

It just makes some sense to me.

The red haired fellow that follows the large Ulfen man looks about the room as he enters scanning for any familiar faces. As he looks around he thinks to himself.

Sir Maximo, and Shel glad to see some friendly Taldan faces. Judging by the assualt on my nose I can only assume Maximo still wears the same perfume, regardless it's great to see them both.

Gazing quickly at the new faces he thinks to himself

Let's see a Rock man, another human, a scum sucking vile lizard faced creature, and a Nagaji

"Well folks the hardest part of the mission is complete, let's get these badges on and finish the job" he says as he tosses a pair of badges to Maximo and Shel.

Well, that was definitely different, however very enjoyable. I found it interesting that getting into my characters mindset was much easier in a PbP enviroment. Thank you Chris for running this game, and I would be more than happy to play in another of your sanctioned PbP games.

Maximo: Thank you for some of the most enjoyable posts I have ever read, you have a true gift. Also thanks for lending the CLW wand to Hadassah.

Hadassah: Thank you so much for bringing me back from the clutches of possible death. I also thank you for your evil eye(s).

Moulini: Thank you for giving my character a few "What The???" moments as you imitated every mural.

Azatoth: Thank you for the image of an Orc choking down a potion normally reserved for oiling weapons.

Shel: Thank you for taking the lead, while I took the rear. Oh, and the killing blow on Ms. Hafshi.

Gryne: Uhhhh you hit a beetle right? No really, thank you for your dedication to tactics in this discussion thread.
