I didn't forget about level 13, thought I suppose that does make the out-of-time elf more difficult. I'm currently leaning towards the Kalo or the Witchwyrd.

Some of those backstory/personality elements aren't necessarily restricted to the randomness that came off the top of my head, so the end result will likely be a mix/match of some of the elements. Whoever I pick will have spent the first 12 levels doing missions for some magic-focused organization (I like a lot of the ones in Galactic magic).

Ideas:

An Ikeshti precog who survived his mating battle with a bit of luck and time on his side. He went on to become a local news anchor. (I'm imagining Morbo from Futurama, except the correct shape, who's good friend is Richard Nixon).

A Witchwyrd elemental evoker technomancer who began traveling widely after he joined the Scrutineers. He desperately wants to make a name for himself but his current magical exploits have not gained a level worth re-telling. In the meantime he makes his way as a trader of magical toys and minor effects.

A kalo mystic with an arcane connection who is obsessed with learning and mastering the strategic games (a-la chess/go) of all cultures. A Xeno-boardgamer if you will. He's just learned about dad jokes.

An elf precog who was transported from pre-gap Golarion and is still trying to orient herself in this very different time. The impedance mismatch for her is very high as her expectations are challenged daily. A strange, pirate-themed gym on Absalom Station is her most comfortable refuge against the drastically different elements of the new reality.

A formian nanocyte who, as an ad executive, has found an innovating new way to spread his lucrative messages. SphereTok is the nanite cloud of the Infosphere. It's most infectious. And totally works.

Hello! Very excited to be joining this game. For whatever reason I've kept my Starfinder play to a minimum so I experiment less with characters in that system and think about each somewhat more exhaustively.

I was Lenny in Dead Suns, and am currently a space minotaur along with Cellion in a Fly Free or Die game.

I have NO idea what I want to play here, and if there should be some connection to Lenny (since this game is related to Dead Suns). I might like to play a spellcaster to change things up (interestingly that's what I overwhelmingly do in the classical fantasy games).

For others, who I may not have played with, it's important to me to contribute good RP, but I also like to be minimal(ish) about it. I'm not the guy writing a novelette every post. I like interacting with the other characters to make it feel like we're doing more than texting the GM :)

In the ensuing years, the command keys are lost to time and reside on the keychain that locks up Lenny's gym. To most who know him, they're just cute knick-knacks that help him avoid losing his gym-keys. He even passes them around to employees as needed, and no-one gives it a second thought. :P I had to.

Lenny untenses greatly as they drift away in their escape capsule. His solar moat floats peacefully around his head, not going to be needed anytime soon again.

We... actually did it. I suppose we should get examined for any after-affects from that explosion, but... it's over. I wonder if the denizens of the galaxy are going to even understand how close this was to being a disaster. I wonder... what other disasters lie in waiting.

Realizing he's getting worked up again he shakes his head visibly and leans back in the chair, exhausted. Just then he hears Zoran's question.

Where? The good life, I think. We've done our part. A single soul only has so much capacity for danger before the bullet comes up in the chamber. When the next "Stellar Degenerator" shows up... not it!

Just then he remembers something and flails around in his relaxed position for a moment grasping for his pack and then plunging into it. He comes out of it with a handful of cards.

Here! What better way to enjoy retirement than with a lifetime membership to Pilates of the Caribbean! You know... with the extra time I could perhaps actually get that place to turn a profit. I should work the tails of our exploits into it somehow...

Back on their proper ship, Lenny further descends into complete, existential relaxation and decompression. His armor, laser pistol, and adventuring pack end up in a pile in front of his locker. He strolls around the deck of the ship with a drink in hand really just sort of enjoying the voyage and his crew duties as they return. Sure, they could be set upon by space pirates at any moment. But, meh, they've seen it all now.

Yeah, this has been amazing. Thanks for running this for so long Ewok! It's hard enough to keep groups together in real life, and long-term can be even harder in PbP. I think it's a testament to how engaging you kept the environments and encounters.

Everybody's character was memorable! For my part, Lenny was the first Starfinder character I created, I believe. Let's say there was... learning about SF builds :P

I also think this is the first full adventure path of any system (PF/SF/PF2) I've actually gotten to complete (!!)

Lenny keeps gliding in the air until he... bonk, runs into the escape ship. He doesn't mind. He's take a break from his usual love of photon energy to dabble in the forces of the singularity. As he becomes fully attuned, his eyes change to fully jet-black, and new powers open up to him Just flavor, those that require full attunement to use.

Making a mental note, he focuses on the identities of his teammates and tears two holes in reality: one next to him and one near Zoran, Zulu, and Davrin. Only his friends may pass through it!

Maybe I'm pessimistic but I suspect there are no guns big enough on any single ship in this armada to destroy that thing... It may take flying a ship itself into it. But... not this one?

He laughs nervously at the thought.
