I was GM'ing a game of The Lions of Katapesh last night; though players positioning and a crit from one of the cats poor Merisiel our iconic Rogue went down without anybody able to get to her. She hit dying 4 just as the ranger PC got the killing longbow shot on the cat. Somebody asked if Merisiel gets a hero point at the start like all the PCs. Still being in the middle of the scenario and the player not wanting to be down a party member we paused a did some searches of the inter-webs but could not find an answer. I went with the players favor, but was not 100% sold on it.
So do Pregens get hero points?

I updated my credit card information on my subscriptions but my first Pathfinder Battles case (LA) is still stuck in pending, saying “This order needs a valid payment method”. (Order 12425864) But this is the same card that worked just fine for the next Battles case (COLO) and Lost Omens: Legends

Now I have tried to subscribe to PFS scenarios but the cart is going back to using the old credit card number and is not giving an option to change it to the new one.

If my mount and I both have Distracting Charge feat either by taking it or the Cavalier's Tactician ability, if the first one I roll whether Character or mount hits with the attack, does the other get the bonus?

Distracting Charge wrote:
Benefit: When your ally with this feat uses the charge action and hits, you gain a +2 bonus on your next attack roll against the target of that charge. This bonus must be used before your ally’s next turn, or it is lost.

My halfling Cavalier 7, Paladin 1 has a little over 10k gold in his pocket and looking for advice on what my next purchase should be. He is all about getting the charge off with Ride-by-Attack, and Wheeling Charge.

My current list of gear:
+2 Lance
+2 light steel shield
Mammoth hide armor
Amulet of natural armor +1
Belt of Thunderous Charge
Cloak of resistance +1
Knights Pennon of Honor
Quick Runner Shirt
Wayfinder
Military Saddle

Should I upgrade my Lance to +3 or is there something else I should do? Is there something out there I should be saving up for? Maybe a headband of Charisma is in order?

I just turned my first star in PFS, and it is not showing next to my name in the PFS forms.

(I also just turned my first Glyph, but as I understand they are not implemented yet)

Thanks for your help.

If I have a Wizard with the Ranger dedication, do my spell attacks on my designated target get the bonus from Hunt Prey?

Pathfinder Society Guide to Play - Player Basics wrote:
As you complete adventures, you will gain more wealth that can be used to buy any common item that is no more than 2 levels higher than your current level.

BUT

Pathfinder Society Guide to Play - Character Options wrote:
Characters can purchase items of up to their level, or up to their level + 2 when they appear on a Chronicle sheet

So is the Character Option section correct? It seams to me that it is, but the practices locally differ depending on what section a person references and there does not seam to be any consensus.

With the Mesmerist stare being replace by an aroma and the stare feats being useless, what type of feats would be good for an Aromaphile Mesmerist?
I would think spell focus, greater spell focus, combat casting and maybe uncanny casting but what else do you think?

Would my thinking be correct that stare feats are of no use to an Aromaphile because it has Hypnotic Aroma instead of Hypnotic Stare?

I have a PFS lvl 4 Mutagenic Mauler (brawler) that I am looking forwards to where I want to take him. I am thinking about multi-classing into alchemist to get access to enlarge person and bull strength, which would mean 4 lvls before going back to Brawler. My feats are currently Power attack, Weapon focus (unarmed), and Dragon style.
1. Is this a good idea?
2. If I do it, do I go with Ragechemist archetype in Alchemist?
3. Do I start at next level? Or go 1 more in Brawler then into Alchemist?

I started playing Pathfinder with the local Society group a few years ago. I’ve never been one to play humans, having started as a Halfling Cavalier, then moved onto a Tengu Inquizitor/Zen archer, a Half-Orc Cleric, and an Oread Mutagenic Brawler. I started GMing this year and was thrilled to get the Regional Support boon to make a Dhampir which I think will be a swashbuckler very shortly.

Last week I GMed at a local con and got my 2nd race boon. But this one has choices: Ghoran, Kobold, Rougarou or Samsaran. Any suggestions on what class/archetype would match well with each of these races?

I'm looking at the Mammoth Hide for my Cavalier. It is in Adventurer's Guide, Inner Sea Combat, and Melee Tactics Toolbox. And I have Melee Tactics Toolbox.

In the Additional resources document under...

Adventurer's Guide wrote:
Equipment: All equipment and magic items in this book are legal for play except the Aspis badge of last resort, branding iron, mantis blade, mask of the mantis, ring of retreat, rose knight's blade, and storm kindler's rod.
and
Melee Tactics Toolbox wrote:
Equipment: all equipment and magic items on pages 18-29 are legal for play, except arms of the marilith, exemplar weapon salve, Leng flail, and the growing weapon property;
but
Inner Sea Combat wrote:
all equipment and magic items on pages 50–63 are legal except backbreaker mail, crag linnorm plate, feather token, mammoth hide, numerian resistance plate, shadowbound chains, and imperial army greathelm.

And Archives of Nethys says it is PFS legal.

So if it listed as not legal in Inner Sea combat, do they just not list it in the others? Or did they reconsider on future publications and now it is legal? 2 say yes, 1 says no = majority rules
Because clearly Melee Tactics Toolbox is the book I have and it is legal out of it, right? ;-)

So my first question is do Golarion goblins ever have hair? Or are they always bald? Have a idea for a character concept of a Goblin Rogue who with a hooded cloak and overgrown hair along with his other cloths/gloves tries to pass himself off as a halfling. It wouldn't be hiding from the party, but from outsides. Anything that I haven't thought about to held this concept?
