"Everyone, be prepared," Sophia warned, her usual airy tone heavy at what looked to be the end of the road. "And Timeon, be brave, because no matter what is beyond that door, I'll need to lean on you, okay?"
"I think it's safe to assume that all of these will have an undead in them," Sophia says, throwing an Acid Splash towards the new one that just rose.
"Eowithe is right. Draugers, nasty undead beasts. The captain there is more powerful," Sophia said, already covering her nose in preparation of the stench. She casually waves her hand towards the drauger in the bottom left of the room, casting Magic Missile.
Sorry, guys. Quick update cause I can't catch up, but I'm going to be afk for about a week. Everything is fine, but I wanted to give you guys a heads up. Feel free to cast Sophia's spells at the team's leisure. Don't die, friends
Sophia lets Demian handle speaking to this one, but that doesn't mean she is idle. She uses her Empathy ability to discover lies and to skim the goblin's thoughts.
Empathy: Empathy (Ex, Su): When attempting a Sense Motive check, the investigator makes two d20 rolls and takes the higher result. If an investigator uses inspiration on a Sense Motive check, he rolls the inspiration dice twice and takes the higher result. Once per day, the investigator can expend one use of inspiration to target a single creature that he can see and hear within 30 feet. Upon doing so, the investigator detects the surface thoughts of the target’s mind, as if he concentrated for 3 rounds while using the detect thoughts spell, unless the creature succeeds on a Will saving throw. The DC of this save is 10 + 1/2 the investigator’s level + his Intelligence modifier. If the target fails, the investigator can continue to detect the surface thoughts of the target creature for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 his investigator level.
Sophia limps over to where there's safety in numbers and fires another acid glob.
Sophia continued with the globs of acid.
"Yes, I do have great talent, don't I?" Sophia says to Morthos, smirking. Then acids another cobra.
She doesn't comment on how her "great talent" means that she misses often.

Sophia pursed her lips as she notices what Demian was talking about. She takes a single step, but somehow ends up disappearing and reappearing next to Morthos in the corner.
"Don't mind me, Morthos, just avoiding the rabble," she said, firing a splash at the big rumbling cobra to see what would happen.
Sophia doesn't notice the rumbling, but can't help see the cobra very close to her. She takes a five foot step back diagonally next to where Razmir would be, then casts at the closest one.
I didn't want to activate any that the frontliners weren't fighting, but I could do so if you wish.
Splash continues to acid.
Acid continues to splash.
Sophia shot off another Acid Splash.
Sophia keeps splashing the creatures.
Sophia moves into a better position on the other side of the room so that she wasn't caught off guard if the giant snake did come to life and fired off another Acid Splash.
"You have a strange notion of honor, Morthos. I'd much rather be done with these rooms all together," Sophia said before flinging another spell.
Sophia smirked at Timeon's efforts behind his back. The payoff was going to be glorious. She tossed another acid splash.
Sorry guys. I live in Florida and I've been helping with the clean ups and been super tired lately.
"I agree with Barnabas, take my cane from him and come smack a snake or two, Demian." Sophia threw out another Acid Splash.
Sophia glares at the cobra that tried to spit at her and tossed another spell.
Sophia does all she can, which is mostly throwing out another Acid Splash.
Sorry guys, Paizo wasn't telling me that this was updated until I got on my computer.
Sophia purses her lips and makes a small noise, but follows around the side of the room where the cobras have cleared so that she could hide behind those more capable if the large cobra in the middle animates. She times her attacks along with Morthos and Barnabas'.
"Yes," Sophia commented, eyeing Timeous critically. "That does seem to be the case, doesn't it." Then she looked at where he was staring and frowned. "Be wary, it seems as though killing the iron cobras are doing something to the statue. Perhaps the wisest thing to do is kill the ones that are already active, and then proceed to the next room."
For now, however, she tossed another Acid Splash.
"Timeon," Sophia said softly, not looking at the squire. "Are you not planning on helping?" Looking for the iron cobra that's most damaged, or the one that's up, Sophia lazily tosses an Acid Splash in its direction. Morthos seems to be doing well with his sword, so no reason to spend another spell yet.
Sophia peaks into the room around Razmir. So far, it didn't seem like the others were moving, but she didn't want to get so far into the room without the rest of the party in case one snake coming alive triggered the rest. Instead of moving, she readied an action to cast Magic Missile on one of the snakes she could see from the doorway should they come alive and start moving.
I'll have a post up in a few hours. I'll have to remind myself to get back into the groove of checking this out.

I'm glad to hear you're doing better and that you haven't been hit too terribly hard. I hope wherever you moved to is better for you! And still here and awaiting orders!

Sophia leaned on the squire for support, perhaps even a little more than she usually would have had need for, and explained what was going on to Timeon. "These chambers appear to be a test for the wicked. It is curious, though. When we came down from what we thought was the entrance, there was heat-eating moss that blocked our path. Is this the direction you fled from? Or did they leave you in here and set up the traps around you?" When she asked that, she gestured towards the door Barnabas was looking over.
After shooting a glare at Morthos, Sophia continued after Ivy. "She's right, Sir Timeon. Your nobility and courage is exceptional," Sophia claimed. She stopped rubbing her bad leg and intoned a spell, holding up the holy symbol and pressing it gently against Timeon's arm.
She smiled softly, but seemed regretful. "I'm sorry I can't do more, but we still have a long way to go and, well, there's still a lot we don't know about this place yet," Sophia claimed. "May I ask for your assistance, Sir Timeon?" Sophia leaned in, her arm pressing into his, and she began speaking quietly. "As you no doubt noticed, the noble adventurers in this party are... less than noble. Not the type I usually travel with. However, a squire of the great Sir Balin? If I had you by my side, I would feel a lot safer. It's no sword, but I can offer you my cane in order to better protect me as long as you allow me to lean on you for support on occasion." Sophia looked at the group, a strange look in her eyes. "After all, wouldn't it be wonderful to see the look on Sir Balin's face when Timeon approaches whatever prison he might be held in? A heartfelt reunion like that, why, it's nothing to shake a stick at."
Convey Secret Message: Secret Message
If Sir Balin is down here somewhere and Timeon survives that long, she plans on using Murderous Command on the squire to bring about the knight's downfall. Until then, he will be an adequate meatshield.
"Morthos!" Sophia gently yelled before smacking him in arm. "Can't you see this man has been through quite enough as it is? Show some courtesy and stop your games." With her back to the man, she mouthed to everyone the word test. She turned to the prisoner and limped towards him, really playing up the cane. "Come on, now. You're out of that wretched room. Here, have a seat, I won't hurt you, and my friend is more than capable of healing your wounds." Sophia pulled out the Mitran holy symbol that the Cardinal had given everyone before their descent into the basement and showed it to the young man.
If he allows her to guide him, Sophia will move him to the rack and sit down on it, patting beside her as a gesture for him to sit. She began to massage her "hurt leg," grimacing all the while. "I'm sorry that we frightened you. We came here not too long ago. There was an attack at the prison, dreadful business, and it seems that those responsible came to this very manor," Sophia shook her head. "But that's not important. Who are you, young man? What are you doing in this terrible place?"
"The table is enchanted," Sophia explained. "Anyone who is bound to it will be under the effects of a Zone of Truth spell. It may be something that will be useful to keep in mind for later." Once she is done explaining, Sophia takes a look at switch Morthos had indicated and observed. "I agree with your assessment, Morthos. A hidden trigger will likely lead us the right way forward. I am willing to take this path. Is everyone ready?"
"Barbaric, really," Sophia agrees. "I've always been fond of softer methods of interrogation. It may not be physically painful, but the potential is there." Sophia begins looking around the room with both mundane means and using Detect Magic.
"North should lead us adjacent to that first room we came through, if I haven't lost my sense of direction. It's as good a choice as any. Whenever you're ready, feel free to breach."
"I don't know, Morthos," Sophia says as she enters the room. "It could be left for the next group to pass through. Be pragmatic. It was probably a hassle getting something like that all the way here. Of course, don't get me wrong, I don't care about it. Do whatever you need to in order to feel safe." Sophia stood near the pedestal and looked at the two doorways they could choose from. She began detecting magic, just in case she missed something. Anything out of the ordinary would catch her eyes.
"It's a Vampiric Mist," Sophia explains. "It won't take as much damage from non magical weapons, but it is indeed weak to flames." Despite saying as much, Sophia does not have any fire based magical spells. Instead, she chants and waves her hand, and two missiles of force fly directly into the mist creature.
Sophia will turn around and Long Step back to where she was so that she can see through the door. Looking at the strange creature and the circumstances, she tries to come up with what it is.
"Know your enemy. Shatter all that blinds you and then burn thy adversary to ashes. Perhaps the sphere is what is causing this darkness, Barnabus, I'll do my best to confirm." Sophia will start backing away towards where they had come from. She keeps a hand on the wall and uses her hanbo as a guiding stick. Once she is free of the darkness, she'll check to see if it's moving based on Barnabus' footfalls on the metal floor.
Thanks, Evil Santa! Impervious Bracers of Armor are almost literally nothing right now, hilariously, but if there's no objections Sophia will take them. Waiting on Demien's answer, but liable to do something soon to get us back in the groove.

"I do not, but whatever is in there is speaking Aklo, a filthy, ancient language," she states simply, but with disgust. She remembered her past, and did not like any of the Fey who spoke in such tongues. "I'm going to assume that whatever is causing this darkness is an object that needs to be destroyed, and whatever manner of foul creature is inside will be weak to fire. We'll have to see, however, when we get there. It, or they, have to have noticed us by now." While standing in the dark was uncomfortable, Sophia took comfort in the fact that she had a lot of sturdy bodies in front of her.
"Be careful, there is a magical aura on the other side," Sophia states, attempting to find out its origins.
