Now that we have more money, how does everyone feel about chipping in for a CLW wand? 750 split 6 ways is 125, but also it's a CLW wand.
Sorry, I meant to respond to this and completely forgot. I can chip in 90 gold. That's pretty much all I got left. I will say it won't be but a couple of levels more and CLW's will be a bane to Morthos. But that's meta-talking obviously.
Morthos would still be willing to chip in what he can.
Honestly, I didn't even think about merging into the party of undead degenerates ones allergic to positive energy. That's going to be pretty fun.

GM gave us 300 gold on top of the 100 we got for being awesome and having an allowance.

Sorry for my absence. The last week and a half have been rough between a root canal and a leaking washing machine among other things.
Remember, my channel heals evil. Since we have limited resources, I decided to go with Scribe Scroll to make some use of downtime. I'll put together a list of scrolls I'll try to create and then roll here to see if I'm successful.

You can NEVER have too much healing. Always good to have extra sources of such, that way, we're not just relying on one.

Is Grumblejack proficient in any armor?
Base ogre is listed as wearing hide armour (grumblejack had none) so I would say light and medium armor and simple weapons.

The take 10 definitely does not have to be a thing if you do not wish. Some GMs I've had feels it ruins the game a little, and I can appreciate that.
For me the randomization is my least favorite aspect of the game, but I understand its purpose.
Taking 10 and 20 as allowed in the rules is completely fine. If I fail to design a proper challenge, that's on me. I don't get not allowing someone to 'carefully look around', taking ten to get the average result. I love taking ten out of combat.

Happy new year, Christmas and everything to you all. I haven't eaten too much or gotten sick thankfully, though I have been super busy (supposed to be on holidays tho??).
We are returning to regularly scheduled updates today once I'm home from work. Let's keep this adventure going.
As a holiday bonus, everyone receives a bonus hit point per level, like the toughness feat(and stacks with it too). I will also be rolling on the minor magic item tables to secret santa up some mystery gifts for everyone as thanks for playing and sticking with the game. I hope we can progress a ton further this year together.
Well that's cool! And looking forward to see where this goes. I like this group of characters and find them interesting. :)
And I'm right there with you when you talk about "super busy". I've barely been anywhere on the boards the past couple weeks. Work just beat me to death from after Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve and last week I was finally able to rest and recuperate. It was a welcome week off, let me tell you. :P

Minor Magic Items
Haven't done it this way before but there we go. A random santa sack of magic items for the group to share. You possess these immediately and can work out fair use between you.
I wouldn't mind snagging that Mithral chain shirt if that's cool. Let me know.

Impervious Bracers of Armor are almost literally nothing right now, hilariously, but if there's no objections Sophia will take them.
Waiting on Demien's answer, but liable to do something soon to get us back in the groove.

Remember with automatic bonus progression there are no +1 weapons or armour. So you will find things with enchantments on them instead like the bracers. At level 4 you will get a +1 attunement that you can add to it.
I'll allow some time for people to check in after the new year before I start worrying. Worse comes to worst, the other group might be down a few as well and we all join together as one group of whoever is left. Or I recruit more.

I forgot about the ABP also. If Blend is limited to an elf, Demian is the only one who can use it. I don't need any of the items.
Blend is a rare spell that usually only elves know. The scroll can be used by anyone though.

Can't really contribute to the encounter in any meaningful way (you would need a 4th level light spell to beat this effect) and don't have much advice / strategy to offer but still here!
