Alaina watched, heart broken, as no took the elevator up and left her behind. How could she have done that? They were friends! They'd looked after each other! Letting anger take over for now since it was the emotion that hurt the lest, she turned and ran off into the mall and quickly became lost looking for this supposed spirit train.

Alaina immediately steps away from the elevator, gesturing for Jo to do the same. This was all too strange and too dangerous seeming to her, and she knew it had to be worse for Jo. What claustrophobic person wanted to stay in an elevator, let alone one that was shaking?

Alaina had been happy to see her friend again, but then Jo holds up the marker. Alaina looks down at her necklace and see the cap hanging there, empty, and hugs Jo tightly. It would've been ages before shed managed to snag another dry erase! "I met shoemaking elves and fell through a void that hadn't been there when I went in the shop!" She writes, mshowing Jonbefore looking at the new person and moving a little behind her friend.

Heart and Sole. The raven-haired youth freezes and looks at all the little fey like this is insane. Of course, it is, since elves aren't real(right?) and they definitely(maybe) didn't make shoes. Still, the look for Jo had to continue, so Alaina shook of the shock and wrote a description of Jo on the dry erase board before showing the nearest elf.

Glorious Warrior Damoclese wrote: "This is, like, the best night ever!!!!" She agreed eagerly, nodding and pulling out her stolen dry erase board and writing quickly, drawing a raven to show she'd seen it too. "I think I know where we can get a heater, but I like being out of the wind the most!" Then the world changed and Alaina didn't know what to do except run and run until she couldn't anymore. Seeing the strange face on the sign, smiling at her, she felt this weird desire to go in and explore. Never knew what could be in a place. Maybe Jo was there!

ProfPotts wrote: 'Quite,' Lady Rebecca nods in response then, seeing Lady Alaina arrive adds, gesturing towards where Garrett is being led from the tilting field by Redwyrm squires, 'Alaina! Is there anything you can do for poor Sir Garrett? They've revived him, but as you can see, he still seems to be staggering from the blow Sir Hugh felled him with... and he's due in the sword ring with Lord Geoffrey! After the mace and the lance, I'm sure the sword will favour Sir Garrett - you've seen how he is with that family blade of his...' "I could try, but I'm down to my healer's kit at the moment. How are you feeling?" Alaina asks.

Sir Garrett Albercroft wrote: "Lady Alaina, can you do anything for them, or should we carry them to the nearest temple, I will carry Aydan if need be..." "Yes, but much of the fire is smoldering now. Nevertheless, I shall try." Alaina says as she hurries over. She instructs Garret to move then as close as he can without aggravating their wounds, and then calls on her white fire to burn away the injuries. Channel Energy:1d6 ⇒ 3
Alaina seems a little less vigorous now that her channeling fire is spent, but the wounds are mostly gone and no one is in danger of dying...

ProfPotts wrote: 'What happened?' she asks in a hoarse whisper... "What happened is that you ignored our warnings and came very close to avoiding the rest of the tournament. I would think after what happened last night you would have stopped taking risks like this. You should have trusted Beatrix and I when we said we had to leave and get your father!" Alaina says sternly. "I will be sure to tell him you need time to recover and that he might want to consider letting you miss the rest of the tournament. You have been through a lot." She says as she examines the bruises gently, prodding around the edges to test their sensitivity. A Heal check to determine the extent of Rebbecca's injuries.

"Quickly then, bring Aydan over here! I'll get everyone!" Once all the injured are gathered around, ghostly white fire dances from Alaina's hands and plays across their wounds, leaving a soothing heat in their wake. She does this one more time to be sure no one is in life threatening danger. Channel Energy:1d6 ⇒ 3

Sorry, been rather busy. "Aydan!" Alaina gasps as she watches him fly away from the knight. She turns on the knight with a vengeance as she swings at him. Light Mace:1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
Her mace might as well be grains of sand for all the damage she's doing, her weapon bouncing off of the black armor with a jarring clang...

"Well, I was told by my late mother that it started during wars long ago. A lady would give a token to the soldier she loved, and tell him it was very important and that we needed to return it when he came back. The reason was actually very clever. If the soldier knew he had to return something important to his loved one, he would fight that much harder to stay alive so he could do so." She smiles as she looks out at the current duel. "Now we do it for luck and to make our affections known." |
