Relevant to May's little tidbit snippet thing in the most recent DM post: Late at night, I toss and turn, and dream of what I need...
There are so many things that so many people just aren't saying that could totally fix the majority of this if the right person knew.

Bit of a Bonnie Tyler purist myself, but Frau Frau was cool too.
And yes, there are definitely some easy solutions built into this scene, but I've always been a fan of improvised answers.
Nothing more fun than watching the bard and the fighter try to open a locked door while the thief runs away.

I think this might be Kiyomi/Juno's theme.
Juno can actively interfere with Sakura's attempt? Just keep in mind that Sakura's working in sync with her theme, and I'm not a GM who likes "nothing happens" results.
Also, Korak, is this roll just to gather the moon threads and sever Juno's connection, or did you want to try to follow through with splicing the threads back together on this roll? Either way is up to you, but it will make a difference. (other than the possibility of a failed roll)
Mechanically, this situation has a lot of Magic on the line, and how the next few actions play out will determine who gets what share.
One way or another, this initial Battle scene will be over sometime soon. Definitely by the end of January. Then we'll get to see how the rest of this rule set plays, and we won't have to stay clustered together.

A U.S. Cellular commercial? :)
This sounds like Mistakes are being Made.

First, carefully describe how you will use your control over Wealth and/or the mechanics of your magic as they have been described so far to counter her attempt to sever your connection with the portal before you can absorb the meatwad, then roll. Fictional positioning is literally everything in this game.
I will warn one more time that adding more magic to magic is guaranteed to escalate the situation. There will not be a "you just stop her and everything goes back to the way things were" case. If that's cool with you, then go for it.
Edit: Y'all are going to have such a great conversation later about "how it works." I'm so ready to take notes.

I look at it this way: if this was a rules-heavy campaign, what Juno did initially would have certainly called for a will save; and, considering Juno's pride and gilded self-confidence she most certainly would have failed it.
I kind of expected Juno would have a dark meguca phase eventually but this is certainly escalating the process.

Just to clarify... the monster was sucked into Juno's vault, but it is (currently, at least) not corrupting her mind due to Chrysanth's influence, correct? Not sure if I should be speaking Aklo the next time I post dialogue or something, haha.
Cloud Watcher Tenshi
When the monster was sucked in, the portal no longer lead to Juno's vault. You're not sure where it went.
Or when.
Also, I'd like to imagine we just sent it to Chell's moon prison. You know, if we take the term 'Warden' seriously. :)
BastianQuinn
Yeah, that was your plan. Sakura just didn't have any way of knowing how her threads work. Like video cables, directionality is pretty important.
Imagine Juno has a vacuum cleaner, and Naiad had a time-segway. Sakura cut the handle and bag off the vacuum and replaced it with the wheels of the segway. The resulting object doesn't do what either tool used to do.
BastianQuinn
Yeah, she had no way of knowing. You'll all have to do some experimentation to understand how your powers work and what happens when you cross the streams. Now that the threat is out of the way you'll all have some time to do that kind of experimentation.
As soon you guys make it home.
I've all but spelled out the easiest way home. I'm sure you guys will find a highly contrived method to use instead.

Found this in my favorites and thought it might be a more fitting picture for Sora. :)
Diamond Sovereign Juno

Juno's kinda trying to avoid being a part of anything right now; not a very active route to go, I know, but I don't really see her doing anything else. She's certainly not going to go back to her usual habit of putting her fingers in everything right away.

I'm on team Freedom. You folks can have your Security!

I think the Navy would happily accept a girl capable of harnessing the might of the ocean. Despite how many parts of the Geneva Convention you break. :)

I swear I didn't go into this game expecting Kiyomi/Juno to be such a disruptive character; I basically never play a character that has difficulty cooperating with a group, but some things that I as a player thought were cool ideas at the time have ended up being even more... "interesting" than anticipated.
I'd offer to tone her down a bit if she's getting to be too much for some people, but considering some elements to what's happened to her that have not quite yet been revealed in the thread I'm not sure if that would even be possible. >.>
Cloud Watcher Tenshi
No, you're good. Drama is good. I've got a much larger difficulty in dealing with wallflowers than in dealing with busybodies. :)
But also, right now, there is so, so much drama in my games. And hijinx. Today has been a very good day for roleplay... but I'm tapped out. I'll try to get a post out early tomorrow. :)

Having thought about it, I think the answer is somewhere between Chell and the food Tenshi just grabbed. The really good food is what might have sold Tenshi. :)
Though, also, she has an urge to be alone and think about everything that's happened. She's not good at showing weakness. Show Biz is like being a piranha in a fish tank full of cannibalistic piranhas: Interesting in a macabre sort of way from the outside, but terrifying on the inside. Constant vigilance!
Cloud Watcher Tenshi
A different essence? I think it'd be pretty close to my only option ;)
Cloud Watcher Tenshi
I think Tenshi is pretty happy with where she is, currently. Assuming she isn't completely outside of the rules the others are bound within. :S

The equivalent of a Power Ranger's morpher.
Apparently Morpher is like Smurf on these forums. :(
I remember smurfs as a race! =D I don't recall the system... I've played a mogwai too.
If we include the rangers' weapons in the functionality of the morpher, then yes. I'm thinking more along the lines of Usagi's pen/wand/rod in terms of function and power progression.
Just wanted to make sure I have you all sufficiently convinced that it's probably a bad idea to make more without knowing more about what they are and what they do.
I'm glad we made a few different types before you all got scared of them, though. That will keep things interesting.

First questions for another player in an out-of-character sense!
Does Juno still look like her more mundane persona? Or is she vastly different?
What does the Shirakawa family do to keep and grow their old money? I thought a neat concept would be show business/major network/music industry, maybe... :p
