Character sheet:
Appearance:
A half elf who tends to favor dressing in blue. He keeps his favored weapons on him, a magically enchanted alchemically silvered tetsubo, and a cold iron nine ringed broadsword. Rai is decently fit, strength having been built up from climbing, swimming and weapon training. Unfortunately he is not the most robust of people, but still maintains average fitness, his elven blood diluting the somewhat healthy human lineage. Background:
Ustalav might not be the first place you think of when pondering where someone of Tian descent might end up, but here we are. After helping to free a friend of Professor Lorrimor of a possessing spirit, Rai’s father Talvendrial took his family on an arduous journey to ensure the safety of the caravan guard who had been possessed, and make sure that nothing more plagued him on that journey. At the request of the Professor, they all traded notes on various types of undead, haunts, posessions and so forth. Talvendrial trained his son Rai in fighting unarmed, as well as with Hei Fengs favored weapon, the nine ring broadsword. He also taught him to use a tetsubo, to hit things harder and build up his strength. When Kharad, a friend of Rai, went to Ustalav to settle down, he wanted Rai to go with him to help keep him safe, knowing that Rai had medical knowledge, healing magic, and weapons training, as well as lore about defending against various types of undead. Rai agreed, and travelled with him, attending some of Professor Lorrimors lectures while he was in the area. Personality:
Likes to be helpful. Generally prefers to observe when not actively pursuing a goal, and in particular, to watch for what people might be thinking without actively speaking their minds. If people are in need of healing, he is typically inclined to assist them. Aura:
His cultivation in the teachings of Hei Feng, the Duke of Thunder, has resulted in an aura of lightning about him. Those who shake hands with him may occasionally get a minor jolt of static electricity. Major flaw:
Anger can sometimes override his good judgement, and cause him to act impulsively, particularly if he or those he is with at the time are threatened. What does he bring to the table?: Long nights of consulting and discussing with Professor Lorrimor greatly increased his knowledge of religion and lore about the undead. He is also trained in reading between the lines and spotting telltale signs of possession or enchantment. He can fight a little, and has some healing magic to keep himself and his companions healthy.
Keritheron Talstar, human brawler. Character sheet for Keritheron Talstar Brawler with the snakebite striker archetype. Looking to potentially multiclass into a wisdom or charisma based caster next level, eg bard or cleric, though other options such as sorcerer or shaman are also appealing. Follower of Kyatha, analog of Shelyn. His parents claim that their family is descended from the original Warden, though his father is prone to not necessarily truthful boasts, so Keritheron, or Ker, is not entirely sure how much stock to put in that. Nevertheless, he feels called to the adventuring life, looking to embark on adventures with friends.
Hmm, maybe I will just post what I have so far. Incomplete, ie no equipment yet. Character sheet https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/?id=2879592 A

F 1. Undead, evil outsiders
I would like to apply as a healer of some kind, for Mummy's Mask. I do like playing characters with a variety of roles, kinda generalist, but almost all of my characters typically have some form of healing. Usually enjoy some form of melee, and if it is Spheres, some form of creation or blasting magic as well as the healing. Leaning toward human or aasimar, maybe and one of soul weaver, druid, cleric, oracle, though other races or classes are definitely options.
Would be interested in any of the three listed. 1 Reign of Winter
or even any of the others. Way of the wicked less preferable. About me: I have been doing play by post for about a decade, though usually on a different website. I work at a board games cafe in New Zealand. Currently in my early 40s. I enjoy Pathfinder 1e, including Spheres of Power/Might, though competition tends to be fierce for those games on the usual website I am on.
GuardYourPrivates wrote: Excited by the enthusiasm everyone is showing. The combination of working overtime while sick recently made me more so, and then I followed that up with hurting my neck. I apologize for going quiet in here for a handful of days. Ooof, that sounds rough. Thanks for letting us know. Hope you are feeling better!
I reworked my character sheet, slight change of concept now that I have read through more information. Written in his journal: Some say that bards may live or die by their words, such is the influence they have on themselves and those around them.
The revitalizing energy that flows through me, through my fingertips and in the tremors of the earth to the ones who receive them like nutrients drawn upwards from the soil. Rock and earth speak to me, the branches and leaves extend outwards in vibrant display, as the fruits of our labor are created. Beneath all this is the unseen foundation, years of practicing, countless hours honing a craft. We absorb sunlight from above and water from the dirt when it rains. Plants turn to face the sun, leaves absorbing sunlight and turning it to energy used to grow. But since the Moon has risen, I have seen friend turn against friend, neighbor against neighbor. Even the most rational of those in Light looked like they may have been touched by the madness. It seems that some others also escaped the city and are heading to Hearth. Perhaps I and those I left with, could join them. Everyone has different ways of dealing with things. Could the influence of one god somehow cancel that of another? But that could go both ways. We should do what we can and trust that we will find a way forward. Somehow. The madness of Moon has wreaked untold destruction in the sanity and health of too many Elen. But perhaps united, we stand a chance to turn the tide. The cold, icy grip of lunacy has taken hold of many in Light. Perhaps the warming symbol of hope, Phoenix, may show the way to our salvation. May the earth shelter us from the moonlight insanity, Great Forest provide us succor in these dark times. If there is no way forward then we may have to make some ourselves. Let the elements combine in unexpectedly ways, and end the midnight darkness with a new dawn.

Ok great, thanks for the information! I will get working on backstory.
Just checking, reading over the campaign diary, and also The Planes, Items, and Magic, is positive energy missing? My character setup currently has channel positive energy and cure spells. Just wondering if that goes against current lore, or would need to be reworked. Also, where is the group currently? From what I can tell it looks like people started in Light and then escaped.

Thanks for the links! Achak will be from the North tribe. Curious about the other races. His mother is a herbalist, so Achak learned how to fix basic injuries when he was young. With access to the northernmost areas of the Forest, he learned about the different types of common and rare flora and fauna, and their uses in medicine. He grew stronger by lifting and practicing with an earth breaker, gradually becoming proficient in it. Drawn to tales of The Great Forest, he was also enthralled by stories in any form, especially those of other cultures, which he was curious about, even though the usual oread practice is to view outsiders with suspicion. The young oread discovered a talent for music, and magic made with such. The earth elementals in the forest inspired him, as did the plants around him. Contemplating the largest northern river that runs from the horns, he wondered if all the stories of the undine watersingers were true, and how their music and magic differed from what he practiced.
Applying with Keliad, a human oracle of the heavens mystery, with the warsighted archetype. Growing up in Oppara, Taldor, on Golarion. For a short stint he did some mercenary work, with knowledge of basic first aid and diplomacy to negotiate decent deals. He also trained with the Swords of the Pathfinder Society, but mainly for carrying equipment and breaking open doors or portcullises in ruins. He is mostly specialized in crafting weaponry, but has spent some time also learning other crafting skills, working with stone, wood, clothing, and arrows, as well as glass. As an oracle, he has some ability to heal people, along with some other beneficial magic. He feels drawn to both the night sky, and the sea.

Oh exciting!!! I am new to play by post on the paizo boards. I have done play by post on myth weavers, but things work differently here, so I may need some time to adjust, heh. If anyone has any tips or sees me do something weird, please let me know. :) Yep Calardanion Hadron still needs a Faerûnian background. Had not thought that through. He will probably be from Waterdeep, having worked at some libraries, but currently working at a bookshop where the owner is dedicated to Deneir, helping to organize the books and records there. The prospect of going back in time to places and events that he only read or heard about will both terrify and excite him!!! :)

Oh nice, what martial arts do you do?

Awesome, thanks!!! I might keep tweaking things a bit until the deadline, but mostly done. Also just realized that some things are not from the core rulebook or advanced players guide, like the tetsubo. Is it okay as it is, or would you prefer that I change things to be within the guidelines? I am fine either way. Excited for the game!
