”Sounds good.”

”Thank you! Much appreciated!”, sighs Kyomi.

Kyomi stops bleeding, but is unconscious.

Kyomi limps upwards, before collapsing.

Stabilize check DC 10: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (2) + 0 = 2

Kyomi begins dying, at -7/10 HP, and will die is not stabilized in 3 turns.

Annoyed, Kyomi goes for another attack!

Katana Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Sadly, Kyomi’s attack does nothing to the giant beyond anger it more….

Kyomi declares a challenge on the enemy, stating ”You are my foe….!”, before attempting a full round Iaijutsu Strike!

Iaijutsu Strike Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Iaijutusu Strike Damage: 1d8 + 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + (3) + 2 = 7

Kyomi slashes hard at her opponent, but suffers -4 to AC.

Worried, Kyomi attempts to see what that awful smell is.

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 8

Alas, she cannot place the smell.

Kyomi decides not to leave things to chance. Without asking, she downs 2 of the remaining potions, to see how well she can recover.

CLW 1: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

CLW 2: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Kyomi worries that her team will get mad at her, for not asking for permission, but hopes having another able-bodied teammate will help.

Kyomi’s HP is now 05/10

”I’m still in no condition to fight. Here’s hoping it isn’t anything too serious, in there.”, states Kyomi.

”Don’t look at me! I can’t read magic! I spent the first 16 years of my life as a slave; only reason I even KNOW how to read is because my family stole blank journals and taught my siblings & me, at night, while the slavers were asleep.”

You forgot the DC to decipher the journal; is it in common?

Curious, Kyomi tries to make out what the potions are….

She knows she’s seen these potions before, but doesn’t risk harming herself again, and decides not to fight for memory of them.

”DON’T ever do that again!”, shouts Kyomi, as she lightly bops the back of Richelle’s head with the pommel of her katana. ”Otherwise? Let’s just say that, should we get help from you, that I’ll be watching from behind you, waiting for a chance at revenge!”

Kyomi then walks away, to go lie down, a headache from the blood loss kicking in, finally.

Worried, Kyomi begins to withdraw herself from combat.

I forgot about the withdraw action. I think I’ll take it, then.

Well, this sucks! I had high hopes for my Ronin, Kyomi! She was supposed to last 5 levels, then spend levels 06-10 multi-classing as a “Martial Artist/Sensei” Monk, before finishing off all character levels as a non-magical Battle Herald.

Here’s hoping she pulls through!

Kyomi, bloodied, kneels over, barely able to hold herself up with her own sword.

”It can’t end this way….” she says, tears beginning to form….

She struggles her way over to behind Torgen, and prepares for the worst.

The comic isn’t out, yet, as it’s being published for DriveThruComics’s and USA’s “National Free Comic Book Day”. But I will send a link, when ready!

Edit: I just remembered that I CAN link an image of the final comic! Just note that it’s a promo to a vaudeville-like variety show comic, that’s going to be on the mature side, that I’ll be working on. Though if Kyomi survives this, I may make one based on her, as well.

Glad to know people were caring for Kyomi, to the best of their abilities! And to clarify, I was working on publishing my first ever comic, this month. Took a lot of work, especially with editing! But it’s turned in, finally! Sadly, it wasn’t Pathfinder-based. But I may make one, later on!

”Not! Like! THIS!!!!”Kyomi shouts, as a burst of unstoppable raging energy surges through Kyomi just enough to auto-stabilize her with “Resolve”! Though she immediately puked blood, and stands up staggered.

Survival DC10: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Intelligence DC10: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

”Hold up, gang! I may not see any reason for immediate danger, but I still don’t trust these suspiciously ending footprint tracks I spotted! Quick, everyone! Check the trees!”

”Perhaps we check out the campsite? See if there’s any valuable rations there?”

”That shack probably has treasure, in it! Let’s go!”, responds Kyomi, gleefully

Hello! Sorry I haven’t been around! It’s been a hectic month, so it’s hard to juggle everything together! But I will be posting more regularly, again.

”So! How is everyone? What made everyone want to go adventuring?”

Kyomi doesn’t seem to be aware of anything about Brevoy.

“Why thank you, my dear! And yes, I would love to shake your hand, as the creator, of my own katana! I forged it in secret, just a day for I killed the slavers that held me, my family, and the rest of my Kitsune clan as property!”

@Kyomi - that is a great picture of your character. I'm assuming you drew it? If so, fabulous job. A++ work.

I had to pull a picture from the web to properly portray my thoughts of Torgen - your art is far deeper.

Oh, sorry, no! Not actually my own art! I can’t draw anything with actual anatomy, besides robots! Though that is what my character actually looks like! See, she’s an adoptable - an OC that someone sold the art and rights to. Only costed me $15! For context, I’ve seen far less creative go for thousands. But I digress!

In comes a fairly lovely looking orange and peach Kitsune, with what can best be described as “a bikini with some armor included, along with sandals, and a katana”, who then immediately sits down and relaxes.
