Hi y'all, I should be able to return to the tables after this weekend. I hope you won't mind having me with you again, I know I've been sick for a very long time (I still don't feel completely fine, hopefully next week will be better). In any case I'll try to catch up and post on Monday, have a nice weekend y'all!
Hi y'all, I'm feeling slightly better, and should be able to resume my duties as PC and GM toward the end of the week, I hope. Sorry again for all the troubles I've caused you, and thank you for your understanding.
Hey y'all, sorry for the prolonged silence. I still feel very s@+&ty, I don't really have the strength to put into PbP. I'm sorry, but for now I have to pause all my games on the forum. Feel free to either kick me or bot me, either is fine. Tomorrow I'll finally get tested for COVID and I'll know what to do for this illness. Thank you for your understanding.
Guys, I'm very sorry, but I need a couple of days to get better. I caught a very bad cold, my head feels just like two balloons [cit.], I need some time to recovery. I'll try to write something Friday or Saturday, ok? Meanwhile I will get tested for COVID, hoping everything will be fine.
Oh well, could have gone worse thinks the half-orc while taking his things and following the others.
Ok, so please tell me what do I have to do. If the table is still running I'm on board, if I don't have to join the sci-fi game (sorry, but I really don't think it's my gig). I didn't really understood if we're going to play here with DM Dickie taking over the thread from GM Minotaur, or if there's a new thread somewhere.
Cordia Masero wrote: GM Dickie said that if most of the players here joined his game, then he'd run this one with us. So, please don't bow out at this time until we see who wishes to play the sci-fi game. Thank you for the clarification, I missed that part.
Sorry, not interested in sci-fi old school games right now, I guess I'll have to bow out from this game.

Yeah, Mr. Benhovy, Kuvan finally takes the floor, approaching the soldier, I mean, Sheriff Benhovy, as my companion are telling you we were completely in the dark about this man's true intentions. We were just hired as guards, all in good faith, some of us to make some gold, others like me to have some strength in numbers on their way to Belhaim.
The young half-orc adjusts his clothes, pats away the dust from the trip from his trousers, then says I'm here to visit a renowned citizen of your town, the wizard Hunclay. He and my mother, Tamra, have been buddies in the past, and they used to exchange letters from time to time, but now she's worried because the old mage hasn't responded to her last letter.
Kuvan looks around to see how the sheriff and the other guards are reacting to his story.
Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 4
After a pause, he asks the sheriff Could you please tell me something about this Hunclay fellow? My ma' didn't told me much about her past as an adventurer, some bad blood with my old man or something like that. I never saw this wizard, would be nice to know something before I actually meet him.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Uff, just my luck thinks the skinny half-orc, rolling his eyes to the sky and quietly rising his hands up in the air. He is guarding the last wagon, although "guard" is a pretty strong word for the nothingness he had to defend it from.
Probably it's just better to do the businessmen do the talking, at least for now he just waits until the lawkeepers say something to him. I just hope we won't have to turn back now that I've reached my destination, that would be a total bummer.
Italy here, GMT+0200.
Kuvan is not fleeing the law, he's just trying to get to a town on the road of the carriage to visit a family friend. I think he's the "clean one" of the group at this point.

Heya! It's me, Imoen Kuvan!
Thank you so very much for the chance to play with you all, I hope we'll have lots of fun together!
Kuvan doesn't look like the usual half-orc: he is slim, rather wimpy, short, and looks like his clothes are a bit too large for him. What he lacks in physique he makes up in personality though, he is a good companion to have around, always with a toothy smile on his face, ready to lend a hand however he can. He has a curious and inquisitive spirit, but is not very useful when it comes to manual labour given his quite slender body (he is not really used to it too).
Aside from being physically quite different from half orcs in general Kuvan also sports some peculiar details: his skin is quite dark, more black-ish than green, and scales grow on some part of his body, like on the brows, on the elbows, and on the knees. His eyes are weird too, they look like those of a lizard. Personality-wise he likes to talk a lot, and usually he is prone to long digressions that usually take the the talk far away from the original topic. He likes to have a good laugh and is very friendly with almost anyone he mets.
