Nightglass is by far my favorite of the Pathfinder Tales novels that I've read. Liane Merciel writes characters with greater depth and intensity than most fantasy authors, and she imagines the dark autocracy of Nidal with frightening clarity. I am glad to find out that there is a sequel out!
