How has this not been restocked yet?

PC pg. 294: Formulas
"You can also Craft a formula by reverse-engineering it from an item you possess. Use the formula’s Price and the item’s Craft DC."

You only have prices for common formulas. If a player wants to reverse-engineer an uncommon or rare item there are no price guidelines for that.

GMC pg. 225: The Etching Process
"You must be able to Craft magic items, have the formula for the rune, have the item you’re adding the rune to in your possession throughout the etching process, and meet any special Craft Requirements."

Must have the formula? This is counter to the not needing formulas for common items, which a majority of the runes are. Guessing this section just got skipped during remastering.

GMC pg. 225: Transferring Runes
"It takes 1 day (instead of the 4 days usually needed to Craft) to transfer a rune or swap a pair of runes, and you can continue to work over additional days to get a discount, as usual with Craft."

Guessing this section just got skipped during remastering.

Seeing how this was, I'm guessing my answer to the previous post is "17"

PC pg. 236: "The item is your level or lower. An item that doesn’t list
a level is level 0. If the item is 9th level or higher, you
must be a master in Crafting, and if it’s 17th or higher,
you must be legendary."

GMC pg. 223: "If the item is 9th level or higher, the crafter must be
a master in Crafting, and if it’s 16th or higher, the
crafter must be legendary."

Is it 17th or 16th level that you require legendary?

The Player's Guide is still not listed on the AP page listing (https://paizo.com/store/pathfinder/adventures/adventurePath/skykingstomb). I had to google it to find the blog that had it.

Will the pocket edition already contain the first errata?
It will not.

Hard pass then. Not buying until errata is included.

Errata in the PDFs are not being released at this time. We need more time to collect, process and copyfit, which is generally driven by the reprinting physical books.

Didn't you guys have some big announcement before about NOT tying errata to physical book reprints? You're going to have to do it eventually (especially these books, you know they will get a reprint), so why? This is the digital age. I get it's more time/money, but it improves the gameplay experience and this is a huge milestone for Paizo, so why not do it right?

Edit: I get that putting out a Day 1 Errata is a good step, but it's largely b/c of needing to fix the rush job (like a Day 1 Patch of a new release video game). It's appreciated, and Paizo did an amazing job getting these books out in the time they did. Very happy overall, just having a book (or pdf) that requires a separate source to work properly, is pretty frustrating. Having a corrected PDF out sooner than later would help a lot.

On the note of errata, I see AoN isn't updated yet. Will it reflect the errata? I hope.

The Recovery Tests change is the stupidest thing they could've done. Once it hits PFS play and they see the proliferation of deaths and complaints, I expect this to be errata'ed for the second print run.

Why do you believe that Paizo would not protect their intellectual property? Derivative works are fully covered by copyright statutes.
I'm not condoning it, but it's foolish to believe this doesn't happen. Regularly.

I don't understand what point you're trying to make.

I agree that piracy is a regular occurrence. Paizo (and any publisher of print materials, for that matter) faces that problem with every item they sell.

So why is a three-month delay on this product more serious than previous product delays? Why is it especially vulnerable to piracy, more so than any other of their publications?

There are two other earlier editions of this product in existence, so I don't see that a 3rd version is somehow more prone to piracy than anything else Paizo publishes. Why is this a *facepalm*, self-inflicted wound?

It's the lack of image files, not the delay in the print edition. Plenty of people complaining about it. Personally I use Roll20 most often so I'll have it there, but if I wanted to play elsewhere that did not have it I could not get it currently. Paizo is short changing themselves.

Cause they're at Dying 2.

This happened twice in that one combat.

"You carefully move 5 feet. Unlike most types of movement,Stepping doesn't trigger reactions, such as Attacks of Opportunity, that can be triggered by move actions or upon leaving or entering a square."

https://2e.aonprd.com/Actions.aspx?ID=87

Or you're saying that they teleported in and critically hit on the attack, which meant that the ability to AoO wasn't involved in it.

The general rule is AoO in monsters in rare in Pathfinder 2e and even rarer at low levels. Most players knowing this will assume a monster doesn't have AoO at 1st level and just try and move out of range which would lead to an AoO.

This specifically happened twice in that combat so I hand waved it for just this combat to save two to four players rolling new characters in session 2.

You'd think after it triggering the first time they would figure out that it was a thing...

Also, you can give it out as info on a Recall Knowledge.

Very disappointed with the quality. The cards use cardboard and not cardstock, which means they will crease super easily. Have to sleeve if you want any hope of shuffling safely. Some cards were stuck together (from the cutting process I imagine) but wasn't terribly difficult to separate. Most of them are misaligned, but thankfully not cut off. A number of them have indentations from I'm assuming the packing process (on the card backs). Due to the cardboard nature of how they are cut a number of them have frayed edges on the rules side of the cards.

I like the handy reference the cards give, and the sample seeds that the books are sorely lacking, but the card quality itself is a huge disappointment, especially when some of their other card products are much better produced.

the OP has to be trolling, right?

Why do the digital 2E Crit Hit & Crit Fumble decks not have card back images?

2e's rules have you generate income at the start of the turn, and any leftover RP is converted to XP at the end of the turn, so gaining a bunch of additional RP turn 1 is less useful since there's an effective cap on how much RP a Kingdom can spend in a single turn (they only have so many actions).

That being the case, giving some RP at the start like in 1E would help with the slow leveling. If you're supposed to spend a year (12 turns) catching the Kingdom level to the party level, consensus seems to be that is impossible RAW.

Also, I messaged Legendary Games and their Kickstart next week for Ultimate Faeries is going to have their take on the 2E Kingdom rules. I'm very interested to see how that turns out, and if they actually had playtesting.

Legendary Games already said they gonna do an Ultimate line for 2E for the new Kingdom & Warfare rules... Probably going to wait for that before trying to run this.

Iirc the 1e AP did give you BP, so I'm surprised to hear 2e gives nothing. Seems like an oversight?

If you have access to the original version then wherever possible use the original DCs, traps and treasure. You'll need to do some manual conversion work for some of the new sections though.

That is a big oof. Was hoping DCs would be usable at least. :(

I do not have any experience with PF2, but listened to a few videos on YT about changes. Have run half of the original AP before, and new group wants to play Kingmaker and I like the expanded story of the new book. I know the PF1 Bestiary gives stats for the encounters in it, but what about converting other aspects of the AP? Skill check DCs stands out as the main thing to me. Comparing the same hexploration encounters between the two books some DCs are higher and others lower. This is all a long way of asking my question...

If running the new Kingmaker in PF1, can I just use the DCs of skill checks and other non-combat things, or do I need to do more work to convert the AP to PF1?

Is there going to be restock of singles for this? The Pegasus & Drake are sold out.

I haven't run it yet, but my plan is just to not calculate XP and when they get out of the sewers be all like "congratulations you hit second level!"
