In the statblocks, it says the Burning Chains, Fiend-Class do Slashing, but in the Armoury Book it says they do Fire Damage.

Is this a typo? Or is the fact they are "fake" mean they are Slashing?

Just going through this so far.

One question.

B4: The Fallen Dragon imparts the PC with a fraction of the Dragon's Power which functions Identically to a Mk 2 Personal Upgrade (Mk 3 in Tier 13-14)

Does this happen IN ADDITION to the Personal Upgrade the PC already has? Can it upgrade a Mk 1 to a Mk 2 (or Mk 3)?

Hi guys,

Just wanted to clarify something, the map on page 8, and the description on page 9 of area "A1" don't make sense to me.

It says "This area is bordered to the south by a 20ft high, 2ft thick escarpment of pure ice created by a combination of the elementals and the recent storm, which the PCs must breach in order to access the condenser in area A2."

Where is this on the map? Am I just being blind?

I had 2 questions while prepping this:

1) In Level B, is Zone A where the Moonflower starts? (Edit: Well High Subtier says so, but I guess the same applies for Low Tier)

2) The Spheres say "creatures reduced to 0 hit points by the spheres' attacks must succeed at a DCXX Fort Save or become a pile of ash."

My question is: does the imploding on round 10 count as an attack? Do PCs have to make a Fort Save? My initial thought is yes, but I don't want to unfairly turn someone into ash.

Also, what are the options for recovering a pile of ash? Do you sweep it all together and then they can raise dead when they get back home?

Just prepping this and encountered a question (might have more but thought I'd ask it now)

Quest #2 - "Marker"

Statblocks for Corrupted Guardian Statues:
Tactics - Before Combat: The corrupted guardians ... beginning their turns as marked on the map.

Anyone got any ideas where that is? Can't see any marks on Map B for that.

Or any suggestions, I was thinking one above B3, and maybe one at B2? Or just both at B3?

Hey guys,

I just started the Starfinder AP subscription and it's said book 11 has been shipped but book 10 hasn't and the payment is still pending even though they are both paid on the same order.

Can you please advise if they are supposed to be shipping together and if there is anything I can do?

Ok I have a question about missiles and ammo.

Can someone point this to me if it is already clarified but I have heard two different versions of this and I want to check with the forums and see if can be clarified if it hasn't been already!

When you fire a missile in starship combat. If you miss TL, do you still fire the rocket and it comes off your ammo, it just wildly goes into nowhere, OR does it just never fire because you never make the Target Lock?

I would really like a clarification on this please!

In Season 7 of the PFS Guide (page 21) there is a bit of block text that says this:

"Additionally, campaign GMs who are recognized for
their efforts by receiving GM stars (see page 38), may
receive additional player or GM credit for a number of
non-Tier 1 scenarios or sanctioned modules per GM star
they have earned. For example, a three-star GM may
select any three scenarios or sanctioned modules that she
can then play or GM for credit one additional time each.
For each of these adventures, she can thus earn a total
of three Chronicle sheets, rather than the two normally
allowed. When replaying a scenario with GM-star credit,
the GM completing the Chronicle sheet will annotate the
Notes section of the Chronicle sheet and add “GM Star
Replay Credit × Star” to annotate the use of star credit
replay. The GM Star Replay Credits are a once per star,
lifetime benefit."

However, it doesn't appear in the later Guides and it doesn't appear in the SFS guide either.

What does appear in the SFS guide is this:
"A GM can assign credit for running an adventure in the same
ways a player can, and must follow the same rules as a player
when applying credit to a character. When you choose to take
a Chronicle sheet for GM credit"

Followed by this:
"They earn the ability to replay one scenario once (see Replaying
Adventures on page 8) per nova earned."

Does this work the same way as the Season 7 guide just not worded the same?

And if not, will there be a clarification in the new SFS Guide?

Hi guys,

Got a question, if you have a friendly NPC Mystic that has CL 2nd and can cast Mystic Cure which is 1d8 + Wisdom Modifier.

How do you work out what their Wisdom Modifier...or is there just a general +1 or +2 rule in this case?

Hi guys (not sure this is the right place for it but here goes),

Had a couple of run ins with Blue Whinnis (or similar effect, Sleeping Gas that works as Blue Whinnis for example) and I've come across some situations for which I need help/advice as both GM and Player.

Blue Whinnis
Type poison (injury); Save Fortitude DC 14
Track Constitution (special); Frequency 1/round for 2 rounds
Effect progression track is Healthy—Weakened—Unconscious; no end state.
Cure 1 save

So I want to clear up/query a couple of things in regard to it and I'm hoping the community can help.

1) Everyone who needs to make a save (DC14), receives 4HP damage whether they make it or not?

2) If you fail, you instantly take 4HP and move to Weakened on the progression track? Or do you fail a save, take 4HP damage, then fail another save, take 4HP damage and then move to Weakened?

3) It takes 1 day of bed rest or 2 nights to become weakened, then the same to become healthy?

4) How does this work in a scenario, if I make a player unconscious (have now done this twice) are they just out of the scenario completely? Do they take no further part unless there is a day or more break in the scenario naturally?

SPOILER:
I did this once during #1-99, I just ruled that the whole Starfinder fleet would have at least someone with Remove Affliction and then charged the service as you would normally

5) What does it mean by no end-state? After 2 rounds the effect stops as they are unconscious, do they still need to make a save? What happens if they fail and they are already unconscious?

6) And it says Cure: 1 Save, how does that save work? If they make it are they automatically back at Healthy, or they just stop going down the track?

7) One of my players came up with an interesting solution.
- PC 1 gets knocked unconscious by my Blue Whinnis.
- PC 2 realises that RP is stated as working that once you go unconscious from lethal or non-lethal and are dying, you can use an RP to instantly stabilise, then be woken up with healing above 0HP.

My question is: Can PC 2 attack PC 1 (non-lethally) to get them below 0, they use an RP to stabilise and then wake up?

I feel it's major cheese but is that a possibility?

Sorry for all the questions, I really really really want to fully understand this so it doesn't confuse my players/me/anyone else.

Also, if there is already a thread, can someone please link me to it :)
