Julian shows up after a long day of fact checking, flying and resisting the urge to reach out for someone. The worldwound was playing tricks on him and only his logical mind was keeping his instincts from running a muck. Hearing the accounts and nodding to Anathya and Rowan as they met up at the Citadel. Their most recent involvement with the Shadow Demon capturing Anathya momentarily beneath Drezen made Julian frown. It sounded similar, a shift in personality, strange occurrences. Had to be safe before being certain. "Most likely its what we've seen before. I'd prepare holy water and means to restrain Jesker lest we kill him or he kills himself in a struggle."

Upon returning to town Julian dug into searching for information on the fallen temple, those that operated it and its missing tender.
Yeah, we had a small brown bear through my neighborhood. But we are a half mile from the river. Its not unexpected, but my neighborhood is like a military encampment. I don't pack any iron but all my neighbors do. SO we're covered lmao!
"Sounds good. Let's head back and prep for departure by the next day or so. Once we have the information we need." Julian's skin was itching he wasn't happy with the results at all. But they demon would surely return one day, or more of its kin. He'd get another chance to kill them.
Julian nods. "Better we focus on compeleting the task instead of chasing it into unknown territory. Or an ambush..." He shuddered, pausing mid speech as the divine magic washed over him he nodded to Anathya. "Thanks, that was... Irksome." He taps Rowan's shoulder, the distracted Justicar staring off where the Demon once was. "Lets search the area and clear it of any other rabble."
When the demon vanished Julian clicks his tongue in annoyance. It was regrettable and he had reacted poorly tom it. He lands before looking up at Eagle rock. "It'll be back. Shall we explore this place and be done with it?" He keeps Einherjar at the ready.
Julian, airborne and away from his companions focuses his arcane might in apprehending the demon and bringing it down to where his companions can destroy it. "I call upon the might the element's! Wind! Fire and Earth! Beckon to my call and bind my enemy in bands unbreakable!"
The air crackled as the bands of elemental force formed and lashed out towards the enemy, though the black energy that sapped his strength made it hard to focus. Throwing off his attack...

Feeling the dark energy sapping his vitality Julian grunted. Using his magic to make the group stronger, his blurred hands weaved a haste magic. Seeing as the fight was currently at range. "I'll draw its fire, you two keep pummeling it." With that said he took to the air and hovered jist over the party, Einherjar in hand and watching what his opponent does next...

Apologies again everyon, been at work with limited internet and no laptop to post with because of it. Need to update Julian to lvl 10 as well which I haven't been able to since I barely have phone support. Should be moving back to a camp that doesn't charge $50 dollars a day for internet. ugh. So sorry for the wait -.-;

Julian spoke with his alchemists and with the hospital staff. All proceeds they gained were to be divided equally among them. Especially as he didn't know how long he would be gone from time to time. So the business would have to survive on its own. However he request they not price their goods to the point it put the people at a disadvantage. Especially as Drezen was still recovering and his tiefling Alchemists needed to build a better reputation for themselves. Once he had made his standing orders clear he joined Rowan and recalling what Karel had said he was unsure of which place to proceed too first. Hearing about Eagle Rock though made him speak up. "Perhaps it would be good to rout the demons there and continue building further support in the areas around Drezen. On that not restoring the Erastil temple would also be good."
Yep everything is showing up again. And it is deeply sad we lost a good friend sooner then expected. :/ I'm heading back to work in the morning so posting soonish. Had my son's birthday today. He's 6 years old haha.
Almost, my friend passed a couple of days ago. I am finally done coordinating things with his family. Been a rough week again. But hopefully things calm down. :/ For some reason none of the updates are showing up for Rowan and Myself, so weird. All of our guys are updateless. Yet there was this post, and I had just come in to update my status lol.

So. Still here. And as Anathya can atest I am having a he'll of a time getting my posts done. Give me a couple of days to sort our issue. If you want to get a moving forward post that is great. Honestly don't have the brain to think of items we need and being an alchemist I can create most of the anti swarm and healing items we need along the way. Had a friend drop a bombshell on Facebook about halting their dialysis due to his medical issues getting worse to the point he can't get a transplant. So he decided to face the storm and go out his own way. Which at 27 is a sad deal. Rowan is spending more time with him then I am. They grew up together and after what he went through its quite a shock.
"Sounds good..." Arueshalae, he never got the woman's name but she was possibly a demon? His world seemed upside down and sideways at the thought before Einherjar brought him back to reality. "I'll get things settled and buy some items for our journey. Meet back in the citadel in four hours." With that he was out the door.
Julian ponders for a moment before shaking his head. "That cell is a sea of calm in the darkness. All I know is that someone important to me spent time in that cell. Someone I owe, a lot and when we first arrived it... it felt like I had just missed her..." But is she the Demon?. He shook his head, dispelling the errant thought. "My groups are more then capable of carrying on without me. The hospital as well the alchemist lab and shop or more then manned up. So lets go and check with Anevia and them before setting out."

Which you always have been! LOL. I feel bad for slowing things down. Been doing rehab on one of Rowan's appartments. Apparently someone was cooking drugs in it. Which is not fantastic, at all. It was one of the few he had under a management service, who remarked the occupant had lots of candles. However the damage extends into the rafters of the building and makes the entire apartment look like a demon was summoned their. the walls are blackened with a sort of soot. Not cool. But I'm good with a sledge hammer, his hands are still weak too, so I have been doing the demo. But it hasn't been fun, hazmat suits get rather hot.

Julian watches in silence, a voice inside him railing against this process. Urging him to fight instead of standing aside and feeling like he was watching a comrade fall. With each pulse of power he felt as though what made Rowan, Rowan, was being stripped away. Edging the trauma he had suffered slowly back to the surface, but ultimately he swallowed it down and watched Rowan change. She had made her decision and he would abide by her wishes. When Kariel approached him his focus became razor sharp. He sighed at the light bush on his forehead, though he focused purely on her words. Knowing that his early slip, though useful, was a mistake. The darkness was more prominent in the 'Wound, temptation like the most delicious dessert and his possessive nature threatened to rise to the surface as well. At Kariel's words he nods. "I will remember and gird myself to resist the tempting darkness." Not all those who wander are lost, least of all myself.

Yeah, Alaska offers like no nlimited plans. Ugh. So bought a new SSD, double the size of my previous OS one. Installed it, Freshly cleared all drives, even though they were doomed already. 8 gigs later and Win 10 is reinstalled and Laptop is up. Now I gotta get back to work, download all my updates with their internet and I will be ship shap. Made multiple partitions and backups as well, so hopefully I won't have as many issues next time. My whole laptop is about 5 years old, i'm going to start saving up for a new one but at least it works again. Despite it's age it is a beast still. It'll be a good rig to sell to someone eventually. Rebuilding Julian right now.

Yeah, sorry about that. My main laptop cratered, with all of my herolab and stuff. Ugh. Apparently Win 10 has a tendency to cause HD failure? But I had SSD so I can't imagine thats the case. But still trouble shooting. Keeps giving a Critical Process Fail. Got it to say Boot Log missing once but I think a clean install of Win operating system is in order. Granted its 6 years old and a battered traveling gaming laptop so it may be boneyard time too...

He looks back to Rowan then, a small smile on his face as he slugged her in the shoulder. "Okay. If I survive this, then sure, I'll take care of Sarkoris. I also won't allow your role to be forgotten either. And when you've killed all of Iomedae's foes for her and are finally able to lay down the sword, you will have a place to retire."
