![]() Can a character receive more than one animal companion by multi classing Druid/Ranger? I've been trying to find an official answer on this for a while now. Everyone has their own opinion of RAW or RAI, but eveything I read refers to animal companions (plural) and feats refer to more than one. Even pre-prestige/archtypes. ![]()
![]() I would have to agree with TriOmegaZero. There are a lot of changes that are very important and essential to a well balanced game. Some may seem small but keep balance very well. Its also worth getting a refresher on all of the rules. When I read the core book I realized I was doing quite a few things different then even the 3.5 rules, either out of misreading in the past or simply because of the years between readings. ![]()
![]() Im having quite an issue. A pc is playing a character who throws oversized rocks and wants to get enlarge person on him. Temporarily this seems ok. But it increases his damage to a ridiculous amount and is going to be extremely hard to deal with. Would it be overboard if I make a ruling that when he picks up rocks they increase in size making them to large to handle with proficiency. Therefore making it more difficult to throw them and having them decrease in size when thrown. Therefore lessening the damage.

![]() I have a 5th lvl Wizard with an INT of 22. My DM has given me a spell book with spells upto 4th lvl. I can't actually find anything that says I can't copy these into my spell book. If I make all of the appropriate rolls can I do this? And if so, would I be able to cast them? My intelligence mod would allow me bonus spells of that level. Unlike rangers and paladins

![]() Once again lets look at the actual text from the book. "If a character receives an animal companion from more than one source," . If you can't have more than one companion then why is this text necessary. Also, the boon companion feat from seekers of secrets says you can take the feat multiple times and each time it applies to a different animal companion. I am pretty sure this book preceded any archetype that gave multiple companions. So now that I can back up my argument with material provided by the game makers. Can anyone show me material that says otherwise? ![]()
![]() Wearing metal does not break any druid code. Metal is just as natural as leather, all the materials come naturally from the earth. The problem is that it blocks your attunement with the earth itself because of the strength of the material. Therefore you lose your spells, spelllike abilities, and supernatural abilities granted to you by nature itself, not extraordinary abilities granted by the class alone. The end! ![]()
![]() No offense but that's seems like an extremely flawed way of thinking. With an archetype you have to take the entire thing. The ranger has an archetype that gives him traps but that doesn't make the hunters traps feats not exist. What if I took levels in paladinand my companion wasn't able to be used as a mount would i just not be allowed to take mount as an option. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. ![]()
![]() My group will soon be starting the Council of Thieves AP and the other players in my group are playing excellent 5th party characters. The only problem with that is there is only 4 of us. No healer and no real melee combatant. They are playing a Gunslinger, a Bard(archeologist), and a Sorcerer/Gunslinger.
