They were there to kill us, and they knew it was us or them going in. We tried to talk them down, but they didn't even take the time to reply. If we had let them go, we would see them again, and this time they might win. In every great story there is conflict and sacrifice. I'm sure their god will reward them for their service.

Jinny fights off the rising bile in her throat as the dirty, sweaty creatures swarm all around her. Bleeding from a dozen or more tiny bites, she takes Willow's advice and retreats down the hallway. As she stumbles away from the swarm, she pulls a potion out of her belt.

I know this name. And this one. Selmius Foster was a Pathfinder who was published in many of the early Pathfinder Chronicles.
Adolphus was a Pathfinder who began his career as the assistant of the Pathfinder Selmius Foster. He published the account of his master's death in Volume 3 of the Pathfinder Chronicles. He went on to found the Pathfinder lodge in Quantium.
