I appreciate your deft control of Geser while I'm indisposed, Dain GM. I forgot about plans for last night and missed my opportunity to post.

Geser goes with them to the shore, keeping an eye out for hostiles and hoping they don't get lost. He brings everything he took on the last mission, and also his camouflage netting--it would have come in handy!

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Geser will participate in heavy weapon training for his rapier, and sailing training.

I could easily add cold weather gear to my nearly-completed sheet, but I've already described Geser as wearing a very visible serape. So, save it is.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

And as for my untrained sailor check 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

My--my apologies. I vow that I will improve.

Hey Dain GM...

I'm really close to having my sheet done. You'll hopefully have it by the end of the night, though bedtime's 8:30 again. I can stay up late tomorrow night in case there are doings transpiring. It's looking good, just gotta do feats/traits and equipment.

And, of course, you know my time zone...eastern standard time like yourself.

Geser bows deeply to the Lord Regent, and absorbs the information provided so that he knows what he's getting into. He does not have great need for luxurious rewards, but he does look forward to the opportunity to do some good.

"I am Geser. Thank you for your friendly greeting, Lord Regent- you honor me. I am indeed here to offer my services in defense of your town. I have worked as a bounty hunter until recently, when my leads all but dried up on account of the Guild. There are some bounties I cannot take in good conscience, and so I do not favor the Guild; thus the Guild does not favor me. I am not one to shirk responsibilities, and if I find this work distasteful, I will carry it out at least until the termination of my contract."

Geser keeps his eyes slightly downcast from the Lord Regent's own, not shyly, but out of respect. He takes in the others assembled in the room almost apologetically when he is finished speaking, as though he is not worthy to be among such folk.

Everyone's welcome is appreciated. I'm just going to conduct a quick test here so that I don't screw up in the gameplay thread, and try out the formatting. I'm a little bit inexperienced, not with gaming, but with play-by-post.

So...

Here is an attempt. :)

Hey everybody...

I'm a friend of the GM, thought I'd check out this whole play-by-post thing. I played in one of his play-by-post games before, and we seem to gel well. I hope I can keep up!
