Question: Is a character with the Necrograft subtype a valid target for the spell Necromantic Revitalization?

The relevant text:

Quote:

Necrograft Subtype
Creatures with this subtype are also damaged by spells that damage undead and can be subjected to other undead-specific effects. If a spell or ability that does something other than deal damage would not normally affect such a creature but does affect undead, it can affect a creature with the necrograft subtype, but that creature gains a bonus to its AC and saving throw against the effect equal to 4 – the number of necrografts it has (to a minimum bonus of +0).
Quote:

Necromantic Revitalization
With a touch, you replenish the negative energies that animate your target, restoring a number of Hit Points. If the target regains all of its Hit Points as a result of this healing, you can apply the remaining healing to yourself, as long as you are an undead creature.

It would seem to me that the "subjected to other undead-specific effects" would imply that this spell does indeed heal the character.

Inspired by other freelancers, I'm starting up a weekly blog of custom content for Pathfinder/Starfinder. Beginning with today's post - The Revenant Revenger

Scarab Sages

Instead of a vigilante who lives a double life, imagine a hero who has a brush with death, and now a former life. Inspired by classic pulp heroes like The Phantom, or Sam Raimi's Darkman, who died or faked their death, the Revenant Revenger is an archetype for the Vigilante that trades in the social persona for a former life that informs their heroic journey (or quest for vengeance) now but can never be reclaimed.
