Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Thanks for the heal Meri! So by my count I should be up now with 4hp is that correct? I'd like to be sure before I act this round :)

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Huh. Just me then I guess :( Maybe its my firewall/router ports. Been having problems connecting to some of my game servers as well. I'm not really a computer guy lol (I'm a carpenter. If I can't hit it with a hammer to make it work I'm totally at a loss haha!) But I'll look into it.

I'm not too worried about you getting to me in time Marianne. The dice may fall as they may :) I've already had a blast playing Jegg and if he goes out during a dramatic chase scene so be it :) Worst case is I have to roll up a new character. Not the end of the world!

Cheers!

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Bwah! Been having problems connecting to the Paizo site the last few days. Anyone else having problems? I've gotten an error since weds...

Wow, come in and find out I'm dying lol. By my count I've taken 21 points of damage? That puts me at -5 yes? Well I suppose posting in the game thread is pointless haha...

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Lets see if I remember how ta use this thing! Jeggrim bellows and begins laughing as he draws his bow.

Balance Check1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Poke, poke! Jeggrim yells in glee pulling back the bowstring and leveling it at the bandit rider.

Ooof! The wagon hits a rut and Jegg slams down hard on his rump cursing and cussing. His rage begins to boil inside....

Keep her steady little hair-foot 'o ye'll find me boot stuck firmly in yer tiny arse!

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Thanks for dragging your feet :) I had a great time! It sure has been nice to have a few days alone with my wife without the kids or the dogs or any other interruptions or obligations or responsibilities. Just lots of drinks to down, money to waste, and good times to be shared :)

As for where I'm sitting, I think I'd be in the very back since I was just dumped into the wagon. Is there a new map posted that I'm missing?

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

I think I'm alright Priesty! Jeggrim shakes his head vigorously, his beard and lips flapping. Have I received any healing? I'm honestly not sure where I'm at lol

Now then, what seem ta be causin us ta run like a bunch 'o kiddo's that just got caught gettin into their mama's pies?

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Baaaaaah! Me achin' noggin! Jeggrim groans from the back of the wagon, removing his helmet and clutching his head in his palm.

Stupid finger wiggler! I would have liked ta bit them waggin fingers right off his stupid hands!

Jeggrim looks around and finally seems to realize where he is...

What in the hells is goin on? How'd meself get here?

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Annnnnd.....I'm back! Had a great few days with my wife. Did a bit of gambling and ended up coming home with a tad bit more cash than I left with. Not too bad after three straight days of hitting the slots, craps and poker table :)

Anyways, I've read through everything and think I'm up to speed. This chase sounds like it will be awesome! Really glad I made it back before that started.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Hey all, I don't know how I've forgotten to mention this until now, but me and my wife are going out of town starting tomorrow. It's our anniversary (the 31st. And hell yes we got married on Halloween :) We're just that awesome...) So I won't be back on until Sunday morning. I may be able to check in, but I don't think I'll be able to post anything so I turn Jegg over to the DM for a couple of days.

God coming back to a dead character would be interesting lol!

Have fun all and good luck with this combat! I should be able to squeeze in one more combat post sometime tomorrow before I leave and after that...well gods have a bit 'o mercy on a crusty dwarf!

DM Krallek:
Sorry to spring this on you last minute. I've been so busy with prepping for our trip, with the kids, finding sitters, etc, etc, that alerting you all has somehow slipped through the cracks! I'm really sorry about that! I'm especially sorry to have to leave during such an epic combat.

Anyways, I think you may have a handle on how to think like Jeggrim for a bit. Happy go lucky out of combat, and insane mad man with little regard for his own safety during combat. I think he prefers combat maneuvers at this point so for his next attack he would try to grapple the spell caster and once he controls the grapple he will pummel him to death. After that probably just try to set up to where he can take his full attacks each round. Or if a trip/bull rush/over-run would somehow benefit the party, go with that.

Since at this point he is already in a rage, he will not, under any circumstances, leave the battle under his own volition. If the party tries to bail they'll either have to physically force him to leave, or leave him. He does however, have enough sense to try and cover their retreat if it came to that.

Other than all that, don't play him too "combat savvy." He doesn't think "whats the best move I can make right now," he thinks, "who has pissed me off the most, or who would be the funnest to splatter all over the place?" Or even, "who is the most challenging?" It pretty much ends there.

Again, sorry to throw this on you. I hope you understand. :) Thanks for a fun and exciting game so far!

Cheers all! Those of you in the danger zone, I wish you to be safe and hope that this all turns out just fine, in and out of game! Been having a lot of fun so far. Keep it all up mates!

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

DM Kreallek:
Yup trying to bull rush the two of them. Looking at my rolls it looks like only the first will be successful. Oh well :) So pretty much they'll just pile up on top of each other. God that's a lot of AoO on me for that bull rush! 1 from the bandit leader since I don't have Imp. Bull Rush yet, and 1 from each that threaten me once I leave that square! Haha stupid dwarf...he really wanted to get to that finger-wiggler tho and that was the only path the insane dwarf could see. Hehe this should be interesting....

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Will Save 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Now we have ourselves a fair fight! Jeggrim bellows in glee as the men surround him.

Lowering his head and screaming in a frenzy, Jeggrim's legs pump as he charges forward, spit and blood flowing freely from his mouth.

Attack Roll 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28

Once again that is also a bull rush. Jeggrim will move forward with Bandit #1 and hopefully pile up and bull rush #3 as well.

2nd Bull Rush for #3 if I make it that far 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Ah, no I forgot /facepalm. I think I would have missed anyway. Oh well.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Marianne, while you may be correct, Jegg is a rage fueled barbarian in combat. Ducking for cover is not part of his skill set :( I'll take my licks as they come I guess! Looking at the map all I see is bowling pins ready to be hit by a strike! Lol...if only......

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

On my turn heres what Jeggrim is going to try. I hope you don't mind adjusticating a few rules DM :) I'm a bit creative sometimes in combat and there isn't many hard and fast rules for a bit of it. Coming from 2e I like to think of what a character can try and not what they can't do

Growling at the pomp bandit leader, Jeggrim's rage boils over. Letting out a furious scream he launches himself at the bandit leader Or nearest bandit if the leader dies before my turn looking to rip his head straight from his shoulders. Baring his teeth he explodes into motion.

Ok so move to the lead bandit.
Acrobatics to Jump up onto his horse
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Headbutt with my Dwarven boulder Helm for damage and a Bull Rush to knock him from his horse 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
If that hits damage 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
And that to hit roll is all my CMB to bull rush. Hopefully that all hits and Jeggrim has leaped onto the baddies horse and headbutted him from the saddle while bashing his brains in!

If he misses the jump he will instead headbutt the horse simply trying to bring it down to get to the rider in the saddle.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

God I need a new comp :( Been having all sorts of problems the last couple days. Haven't been able to load Paizo's site for some reason. Now it loads up and I've missed a lot! Bah! Being broke sucks! I want my f*ing leg to heal so I can get back to work and actually make some money again :(

I wish I would have been here for the banter with the bandit leader....Jeggrim would have just told him to shut up...with his fists! Surprise! Now stfu!

Here's hoping my comp holds steady for the next month 'till I can afford a new one /crosses fingers

Edit: Just got the map loaded. I'm so f*ing dead! Lol. Well Jegg it was nice knowin you :) Are we going to be able to reroll and keep playing if we go down? I really like this group and would hate to have to quit just cause I lost a few too many hit points! lol

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Hahaha Priesty! Just let them try... Jeggrim's face clouds over as he sits down on the body of his latest foe. Gave 'em every chance ta be goodly bout all this. I'm thinkin they have a bit 'o payback comin from makin me take a bath!

Jeggrim's laughter is loud and menacing.

I suggest ye all find a good, safe place ta watch the fun from. Meself has me spot all picked out. Jeggrim pats the gory bandit corpse, I'm thinkin these bandits 'll get the message loud 'an clear! So let 'em bring their lances! They get anywhere near me arse and they'll find one angry dwarf pokin them back in theirs!

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Stay safe buddy!

More brash it is :) Have fun keeping Jeggrim alive haha! Should be fun :)

Celebrity Avatars? On the boards here you mean? Please elaborate...

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Sorry I've been super busy and my computer has been acting up...I think its time to lay the 'ol girl to rest and upgrade...anyways

Jeggrim looks around shaking his head violently. Breathing heavily he stands in the gore of his latest foe, watching the rest of the party break into activity.

Well that was boring. He didn't put up much 'o a fight did he? Meself is a bit on the disappointed side! 'Specially since I gived him the option ta just sit and have a drink wit me! Seems that would 'o been the better choice fer him eh? Jeggrim breaks into laughter, wiping his fist off on the mans tunic.

Wait, what're ye all doin? Is meself missin somethin? Ye thinkin there may be more 'o them squishy skulls around? Gods I hope so! I've been in bar brawls wit more fun an' blood than that!

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Lol, character wise? I think Jegg really would have just went in, punching anything that moved. Kind of the "shoot first, ask questions later" type mentality. But I'm down-playing it quite a bit since that usually upsets most parties :)

If you guys don't mind trying to "control" him, I'd like to play Jegg as a bit more brash and all that. I'm just concerned about creating problems for the quasi-pacifist Bard, the Priest of Love and Beauty, and soul searching dwarf haha.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Jeggrim breaks into a break neck run, kicking up dirt and dried leaves as his heavy boots pound the ground. His beard swings wildly and his eyes again have the look of a savage beast.

Hehehe! Yer gonna look so perdy inside out!

Attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 +5 base, +2 rage, +2 charge
Damage 1d3 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 +4 base, +2 rage, +2 charge

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Ye shouldn't have dun that ye orc brained dolt! Now I got ta rip yer head right off that weaklin spine 'o yers! I'm gonna have fun strippin the flesh off yer bones ye blubberin bag 'o ogre dung! Jeggrim laughs at the pitiful long-shanks, gleefully pounding his fists together.

Aight lads!Jeggrim calls to his companions, I'm afraid to tell ye that these dunderheads have ripped the welcome mat out from under me feet! Time ta fill 'em full 'o holes and be on our way!

Eyes narrowed Jeggrim begins to whip himself into a frenzy. He paws at the ground and then hunches over, like a sprinter on the blocks, preparing for his charge.

Do you want us to roll our own initiative or are you going to roll it for us?

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Whoa there! Ain't no need fer hostilities. Bit jumpy ain't ye? Jeggrim laughs, one of his deep, booming laughs. Like I telled ye, meself is just lookin fer a bit 'o company after a stint in them woods. Been doin a bit 'o trappin but ain't had much luck. I'm sure ye know how that goes!

As he talks Jeggrim walks deliberately toward the lone guard, while trying to maintain a casual look.

Are you going to want a bluff/diplomacy check for this type of thing? Or is my RP sufficient? If not here's the numbers crosses fingers Bluff- 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11

Anyways there stranger, ye got a comfy place fer a dwarf ta rest his rump upon? Been sleepin on rocks an' brambles fer a bit too long now! Hows about ye lower that squirrel shooter and share a drink with meself while I kick me feet up and stretch out! I'm sure ye got a tale 'o two ta share don't ye?

Again, while Jegg talks he steadily makes forward progress, at least enough to be within charging distance if the man decides just to shoot.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Jeggrim nods at his companions and moves forward to approach the lone guard.

Hail! Ye got room fer a weary hunter? Haven't had meself much luck today and a bit 'o company would be a welcome pleasure!

Jeggrim takes a look around the camp as he moves towards the guard.

Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Ye all know I'd be the first ta itch fer a fight. I'm just fer knowin that in the wild lands there be all sorts 'o folks, and not all 'o them are baddie waitin ta spill yer blood. If its fightin that need done I'll be the first one in! But meself would have a problem if I stain meself wit the blood 'o those that didn't deserve death...

Jeggrim lets that hang in the air as he eyes the camp.

Hows about I just go knock and see whose home? I'm used ta huntin and trappin round this parts and meself can pass off as a lone woodsmen. 'Sides if any trouble starts I'm thinkin meself can take the most punishment 'afore help arrives!

Jegg shifts as he waits for a response, eying the camp. Its obvious that if no one stops him he means to make his move.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

First I like Fulito :) I've always been partial to party banter. Reminds me of Legolas and Gimli and all that. Or my friends in real life. We get together and make fun of each other, rip on everyone, etc but its all in good fun.

Second, the pace for me is just fine. I think its moving at a decent pace and I would vote to keep it up since it seems most everyone else is able to keep pace with it.

Again just my .02

Cheers!

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Why don't someone just go ahead of us and see what they're about 'afore we jump ta conclusions? Maybe the little hair-foot bard would be a good choice? I'm thinkin he could pose as lone a travelin musician. I'm doubtin that if a camp 'o bandits is that large they would bother harmin a lone traveler. Seems like they wouldn't get much out 'o it. And if they turn out ta be friendly then we can just walk right in.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Jeggrim's eyes narrow dangerously at Merianne. A long moment passes as those around him see the same look crossing his face that befell him in the moments before battle.

After an agonizingly long moment, Jeggrim finally bursts into insane and heart felt laughter. Doubling over and slapping his thigh, Jegg straightens, wiping tears of mirth from his eyes.

Ha! I knew them point-ears had a thing fer men folk! His laughter takes over once again. Ye know Staryth, in all me years in the wilds, I ain't never seen a bear, o'r wolf, 'o giant cats worryin 'bout a bit 'o blood! But I 'spose the sensibilities 'o the "civilized" folk are different than me own... He breaks into more laughter as he imagines Gil coming on to him.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

What in the nine hells?!?! Jeggrim's large nose sniffs the air before turning his attention to his own armor, beard, hair, and pits...Who the...? What the....? Utterly exacerbated Jeggrim stomps his feet, completely confused as to what has befallen him.

This some sort of elf trick eh point-ears? I smell like a durned flower fairy! Jegg snorts loudly, as he looks around for not only the cause of such trickery, but also for a means to remedy the situation.

Bah! he throws his hands up in the air, eyes narrowed.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Jeggrim is splashing around in the water, doing his best to clean the gore from himself. On hearing the elf's sing song voice carrying on the breeze to his ears he calls out to Staryth;

Dwarven:
Damn right cousin! Told ye the point-ears were all "high and mighty" about their fairy ways! Meself is surprised he was willin to toss a compliment yer way! Haha!

Satisfied that he has cleaned the worst of it off himself, and dripping wet, he trudges over to the wagon to give it a thorough look.

Perception1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Jeggrim stumbles from the water, staggering onto the shore, visibly winded. Breathing heavy, the red-headed dwarf spits a mixture of blood and water from his mouth, sputtering and hacking.

Jeggrim wanders over to Staryth and Marianne, whose conversation he can't quite make out over the distance. Huffing and puffing, the crusty dwarf finds his way to their side just as Staryth finishes talking.

Standing before them, Jeggrim is a disgusting display. His beard and face are covered in blood that is already beginning to congeal, his long plait hangs heavy from his head, wet and covered in blood. His leather armor and kilt are slick with blood and gore, and his knuckledusters are caked with flesh, hair, and sticky with chunky bits of blood and brains. He offhandedly plucks a tooth that had lodged itself in the metal band around his knuckle as he speaks,

Nice job out there Merianne! I didn't take ye fer such a ferocious warrior! Yer quite the fearsome foe Priesty 'o love! Jeggrim bellows with hearty laughter. And yerself cousin! Yer the model 'o a dwarf fighter if meself e'r did see one!

Jeggrim stops seeing that Merianne is pale, he notes the pile of vomit at her boots, and sees the concerned look on Staryth's face.

Ye alright Priesty? Ye get hit in the gut? Ye can bind yer own wounds with that priesty magic 'o yers can't ye? Well it ain't no shame ta get a lick 'o two landed on yerself during the fray! Nay! Them scars ye should wear proudly! Trophies fer the battles one! Jeggrim laughs, flashing a smile, his teeth covered in blood appear monstrous.

Satisfied that he helped, he finally looks down at himself.

By Torag's hammer! Ain't meself a sight ta see! 'Spose I should wash those lyin highwaymen off meself eh? Jeggrim's laughter is honest and genuine as he slowly shakes his head.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

You're turn ye lyin sack 'o goblin filth! Jeggrim bellows pointing at the man on the wagon before charging toward him, beard and plait flying out behind him.

Jeggrim reaches out one of his massive hands, reaching to grab hold of the wagon driver and shove him mercilessly under the water.

Grapple Roll 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Will Save1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 +2 base, +2 dwarf racial, +2 while raging

Jeggrim points the severed arm at the man by the wagon, growling furiously, You're next fatty! before tossing down the arm. He feels a wave of magical energy wash over him, but barely even registers this fact, and begins digging his heavy boots into the soft earth, finding his footing in order to launch himself at the wagon driver.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Howling with rage Jeggrim presses the attack, Get back over here ye coward! Jeggrim growls, a deep, bestial sound, and leaps upon the would-be ambusher in a storm of animistic fury.

5 foot step forward, then full attack
First Attack1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 Damage1d3 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Second Attack1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 Damage 1d3 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Foaming at the mouth Jeggrim swings at the foolish bandit, fighting with reckless abandon.

If/when I drop this guy, I would like it described as ripping his arm off, just like my original threat. :)

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

On my turn I'm going to charge the one at t-11. Is that considered difficult terrain or can I actually charge?

Jeggrim growls in bestial rage, his pupils dilated to obscene proportions, pointing to one of the would-be bandits he screams at him The name's Jeggrim! Take in the sight 'o me fool fer me face'll be the last thing ye see 'afore I rip yer arm off and shove it up yer stupid arse!

Pointing to the bandit's companion standing near by, And yerself! Take note ye blatherin fool! I'm gonna rip that slack jaw right off yer ugly face and use yer head like a puppet! Jeggrim feels his blood begin to boil as his obscenities let fly. Soon he will have lost all control over himself; this is plain to see.Jeggrim rages

The visage of the crazed dwarf is enough to make any question his sanity. Gone is the kind hearted oaf of a dwarf, replaced instead with a screaming, foaming, blood-crazed maniac, hell bent on the morbid destruction of his foes.

My rolls
Attack roll (with rage)1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19 Damage 1d3 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 Add +2 to those if I am allowed to charge.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Big mistake ye stupid orc-lovin filth! I'll enjoy rippin yer lyin tongue straight outta that stupid skull 'o yers! Jeggrim booms as he scrapes his feet into the soil much like a bull about to charge. His eyes are wild and he begins laughing like a psychopath

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHA! Meself was needin a few skulls to beat in 'an a few bone ta break! Thank ye fer the chance ye devil tongued son of an ogre! Hahaha! Ye just made me day! Jeggrim continues digging his feet into the soil, his muscles tensing for the charge, all the while laughing and hollering.

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Taking Staryth's lead well I guess the subtleties are out the widow! Good! I get tired of all that hahahaThat right ye filthy sneaks! Come out and show yeselve. Trust me, ye don't want me comin in and draggin yer arses out meself...they might come out without ye attached ta the other end! Jeggrim bellows his threat.

Dwarven:
Gotcha there Fulito.

Jeggrim dismounts, trying to look as "casual" as he can, cracking his knuckles loudly. He moves a step closer to the bushes...Moves to T-14

What are ye doin out there anyways ye dolt? Seems ta me fjordin here ain't such a good idea! Like me cousin said, toss us a bit 'o line and we'll get ye hauled out quick as a orc is ugly! Although Jeggrim is bellowing, he looks towards the bushes with the corner of his eye.

Perception1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

He tries to look helpful, but readies himself just in case there is more going on than it first seemed.

Can we toss him a rope? Will that even help? I'm thinking we can toss a few ropes and have him fashion them to his horses barding or his wagon and we can use a couple of our horses to yank him out.

I typed up a post earlier today, went to post it and...got the site was down. Been down all day for me up until about 5 mins ago...very frustrating! Lol all seems ok now at least.

Jeggrim squints trying to make heads or tails of the pudgy faced man in the wagon Ho there! What's the meanin 'o this? Look like yer havin a hell 'o a time!

To the party What should we do? Ourselves are on a tight schedule...He lets that hang in the air, his meaning obvious.

Knowledge Local1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

Thank ye little hair-foot. I meself was pretty unsure as well! I do know me kin don't have a reputation fer being good riders, but I'm not fer seein why! This...this is fun! Perhaps ye can compose a tune about it! Jeggrim laughs at the thought. Thank ye fer yer kind words. Meself is pretty proud 'o this

Edit: Dang it missed the DC by one!

[ooc]Have I been suddenly just talking to myself? Lol. I was sure someone would comment on Jegg having never met a dwarf women before...I'm honestly surprised![/b]

Well times a wastin! Lets get our hairy arses movin! Jeggrim maneuvers his horse ahead of the wagon whispering in its ear, Its time fer us to get truly acquainted Thunderhoof. Yah! Yah! Jeggrim spurs the horse to a fast gallop, testing himself and the horse. Lacking any formal experience on horse back here is a roll just for fun. I'm thinking maybe 8 or less and Jegg falls, 9-12 and things go ok, and 13+ Jegg and Thunderhoof kind of bond. 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18 haha wow nice roll!

You see Jeggrim deftly maneuvering his horse, breaking into a full out run, kicking up sand and pebbles with each roar of a hoof, splashing through the waves lapping at the shore. Jeggrim is crouched low in the saddle, his long, thick plait flying wildly behind him, whipping in the breeze. He yanks on the reigns and brings his horse in a tight turn, thundering back toward the wagon. His face is a mask of pure glee at it all. Hooting and hollering and laughing he pulls up deftly beside the wagon, still beside himself with pleasure.

Hey cousin! I've decided I love these horses! The speed! The freedom! The wind in yer beard! I think me 'an this beast 'ave hit it off quite well. Ye see the way he responded ta me? I've givin him a name, I hear all the humans do this; Thunderhoof! What do ya think 'o that? Jegg breaths in deep. Ah its good ta be out 'o that town again!

Male Dwarf Barbarian 1 (HP16 AC16/14, Fort+5, Ref+3, Will+2, Ini+4, Perception+6, Attack +5 or +3/+3, Dmg 1d3+4/1d3+2)

Jegg taps his foot at the halflings tune, humming along.
Some trick the with the boat eh? I was certain we'd all be crushed to death ashore 'afore we even began on the road! Jeggrim does his best to maneuver his horse off the boat. Noting a few are heading off to scout the area he helps with getting the wagon sorted out.
What do ye got there Priesty? He says pointing at the scroll tube. He takes a moment to adjust the massive iron bands around his hands, cracking his knuckles I hope they do find somethin out there itchen fer a fight. Gods know I be itchen meself after bein couped up in the city as I were. I could use a good scrap ta loosin me joints Jegg laughs out loud, long and hard, for no apparent reason...

Oi cousin, when was the last time ye got ta put that hunk 'o steel ta use eh? Meself is interested in seein what a proper child 'o the smith can do in a fight!

Dude the fat lady thing is so funny. Brought me to tears lol!

Haha indeed! I think I can teach ye ta cuss! Hahaha! Jeggrim bellows in laughter at the prospect. Ye're full 'o surprises Priesty! Jeggrim renews his laughter.

At the mention of dwarf females Jeggrim shifts uncomfortably. Well, uh, yeah. I suppose that would be right wouldn't it Staryth? Jeggrims eyes are wild now, Bah! I can't hid me thoughts any more 'an an orc can hide his smell! Meself has....never seen a dwarf lassie 'afore Priesty so I can't rightly tell ye about their beauty. Torag strike me down if this be blasphemy, but I can't tell ye that I wouldn't find a woman with a beard like me own very beautiful! Gah! ye've already managed ta back me in a corner Priesty. Some dwarf I is huh? In case ye haven't already noticed, I haven't spent much time with me own kin. Me mother dropped me in the forest when I was a young lad. I don't remember anything but her eyes. They was scared although I can't tell ye of what. I remember that much, but nothing more. I spent me youth among the bear cubs and wolf pups, huntin 'an livin like a feral child 'o the wilds. 'Till a band 'o hunters found me....Bah! ye don't wanna hear such boring tales. Ta answer yer question direct; I don't know what a dwarf woman looks like! And I don't rightly know if I'd be attracted ta her if I did! There ye have it! Jeggrim huffs and puffs indignantly, waiting for the inevitable onslaught of laughter and jokes his big mouth had opened the door for.

Edit: Staryth you ninja! Lol. Yeah but what you're making up is good stuff. I'm fairly sure that dwarf woman with beards went out with 2nd Edition. At least thats the last time I remember hearing about dwarf women having beards. In fact in the book "Demihuman Deities" there is some funny artwork of female dwarf priests with little beards! To be honest the artist did a good job of keeping them feminine despite this lol. Keep up the good work Staryth. That's the beauty of RP such as this; you can make stuff up and we can roll with it and create our own mythos as we go! Cheers!

Jeggrim eyes the horses suspiciously. He approaches one a bit apprehensive, sticking out one hand cautiously making to pet the snout of the one that is to be his, in a whispered voice Hey there ya bit 'ol beastie. Yer a fine lookin one ain't ye? And we're going to get along just fine ain't we? He attempts to pet the horse. Handle Animal. I figure if I get a 10+ the horse will be calm enough at Jegg's touch to still his insecurity. Below 10 and Jegg will have a bit of trouble adjusting. Here we go 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12Ok nice!

The horse seems calm enough and Jeggrim's confidence grows, and before he knows it, he's giving the horse a proper rub down with a soft brush, whispering in its ear. Ye need a name don't ye? I hear that all 'o the long-un's best horses have proper names. Hmmmmm. Ah ha! Ye shall be me Thunderhoof! Haha a mighty name fer a mighty beast! Jeggrim looks satisfied. He plants his hands firmly on his hips, looking one last time at the beast before turning to the party.

Quote:
I am ready as I will ever be. May Erastil and Desna be with us

Who be they poin-ear? I think I've heard their names whispered by long-un trappers and hunters, but ta be honest with ye I know little 'o them. And ta yer own god Priestess, I must admit the same.Jeggrim lowers his head, off-handedly inspecting his boots, Aye, I must admit I know little 'o the tenants 'o me kin's own god. I've prayed me whole life fer his guidance, and tried me best ta live be what I think he would be choosin, but to be honest with ye, I've never heard a reply to me prayers, and I'm thinkin maybe he's not hearin me. Jeggrim scowls at his own honesty Never told a soul any 'o this and now here ye are spillin yer guts to what may as well be strangers! Shut yer trap ye dolt! Maybe ye'll all be willin to share a bit 'o yer gods wisdom with a crusty dwarf like meself?

Jeggrim listens to Staryth relate the history of the dwarven language, intently focused. Gods a proper dwarf I is...I know nothing of this! No wonder Torag's forgot about me, I ain't much of a child 'o the smith now am I?Of course I'm willing ta help ya Priesty, but ta tell ye the truth, I'm thinkin Staryth a better tutor than meself! His command of history and tradition 'o our language is far superior to me own. If ye want yerself a tattoo tho....Jeggrim trails off laughing.

To be honest when I play a character obsessed with wealth/items/etc its actually quite a RP stretch for me. Myself (god you don't know how hard its getting not to type "meself"...jeeze)like Jegg doesn't really care much about gear. You never heard Aragon or Gimli arguing about gear did you? No they were heroes on a quest and that was that.

I've found that even in video games my desire for gear beyond their "look" is pretty weak. What I'm getting at is not only does this character not care much about material wealth shy of what he needs to survive and perhaps afford a little bit of luxury here and there, but I as a player care little about it as long as my character can stand up to CR monsters, and has enough coin for "essential items."

I'm down for whatever method, but to be honest, Merianne's would make my brain explode. I'm not a bean-counter in real life and I'm certainly not going to pretend to be in a game lol!

My vote (if it comes to that) is just give people what they need, or give items to whomever benefits the most from it. In the end looking after the PARTY should come before anything else. Yeah you can sell that +5 vorpal greataxe for a king's ransom, but in my hands or Staryth's it will lay our foes to waste, thus saving other items like healing. Yeah we could sell that Wand of Cure Whatever for a hefty sum, but having to Rez someone is worse!

Just my .02

Well that answers me questions then! Sounds like we'll be needin ta run like we got a dragon at our heels! Yay for sore rumps an' chaffed thighs! Jeggrim is half sarcastic but genuinely enthusiastic. With a bit 'o luck we may yet find a bit 'o fun on the road anyways! I don't know bout the rest of ye, but meself is as ready as any could be. I cast me vote that we set off at once! Jeggrim crosses his arms Not sure how I feel 'bout this armor. Bit snug fer me own liking, but I'm not doubtin the advice 'o properly trained warriors...I just...itches! Jeggrim begins tapping his foot impatiently, not the sort to stand around sparring needless words, a look of determination set upon his face.

Jeggrim soaks it all in, listening intently to the man's words, trying his best to take mental notes of the details. When the man is finished he quips, Maybe me math skills ain't all that great, but is it 200miles as the hawk flies? 'er 200 miles as yer horses are ta run it? 'Cause by me reckoning, at 30 miles a day that should put the lot 'o us in Falcon's Hallow at seven days no? Or am I missing something? Are ye expectin us ta be delayed along the way, accountin in the nine day window?Jeggrim ponders his own question for a moment before continuing, And aside all that, what exactly are we haulin if ye don't mind me askin? I don't mind riskin me hide for a fair bit 'o coin, but meself would be feelin more confident if meself is ta be knowin all the facts.

Thanks for the tips. I'm doing that now. I'm ready to go ahead and move on to the next part as well.
