I modified this character to fit your requirements. I made him for WotR but he never got chosen.
Physical Description:
Age: 21
Height: 5’4”
Weight: 146 lbs
Skin Tone: Tan
Hair Color and Style: Short blonde
Eyes: Light Blue
Outfit: Simple farmer outfit with a brown cloak, brown leather boots, and simple leather armor over it, wearing silver holy symbol of Aroden around his neck and hidden under his shirt.
Region: Taldor
Backstory:
Jaali came from simple and humble beginnings. Born to a family of farmers, he was considered to be very ordinary. The only real notable thing about him was the fact that he can make fruit ripen with a touch. He just lived his ordinary. One night, he woke up to a faint voice calling his name. He armed himself with his quarterstaff and left the house. He followed the voice to a lone and old oak tree on a hill near the property. Upon his arrival, mysterious wisps of energy began to manifest. The voice said that he was Aroden. Aroden told Jaali that he was making his return. He said that he chose Jaali to become his herald, spreading the news of his return and establish a religious footing for Aroden. To aid Jaali in this endeavor, Aroden infused him with some of his energy, imbuing him with the power of the Heavens. During the event, Jaali saw wondrous things, events from Aroden’s life, the raising of the Starstone in particular. However, to receive such a gift, Jaali must endure a physical imperfection. Aroden removed Jaali’s use of his left leg. As a final gift, Aroden gave Jaali his holy symbol made of silver. Aroden told him that Jaali had to travel Mendev and the rest will be revealed to him. Jaali returned to his home, immediately began to pack, and left for Mendev to embrace his destiny.
Personality:
Jaali is a confident man, placing his friends and allies over himself. However, due to the changes in his life, he has become nervous of the outside world and unsure of himself, often questioning his quest and the reason he was chosen. He does not know of his celestial heritage, believing himself to be human, but with something special.
I picture him as green as green can get. He's a farmer. He knows nothing of adventuring. And he's being thrown into the lion's den. He's Neutral Good. Always wanting to help people. His character arc would be finding out he's not human and trying to understand Aroden and why the simple man was chosen as a herald.

To Enshi
I'm also going into a bit more detail about the Aroden Event.
Jaali strokes his chin in thought. "It may be possible. But when the energy was surrounding me, infusing me, I had...visions. Like I seeing life through the eyes of someone else. There's one scene that sticks out in my mind: 'I' am under the water, swimming towards the surface. Something was clutched in my right hand. When 'I' broke the surface, I put my hand over my head, towards to the sky above. In my closed fist, was some kind of stone. The voice I have been hearing whispered one word: Starstone."

To Dorotea and Tierce
A pleasure to meet you, Lady Dorotea. May we both accomplish our goals. Now if you will excuse, someone would like to have a word with me. By your leave." Jaali bows respectfully to both Tierce and Dorotea before heading towards the man with the bird.
To Max
Jaali gently strokes the bird on his finger as it makes it cry. Mentally chuckling, he mutters, "Finally, someone believes me." Looking towards the scholar, he says, "Yes, the events that have transpired have left me with many questions as well." At Maximillian's offer, he smiles and says, "It would be wonderful to visit the temple of Aroden. Perhaps there we can more about what this will lead to."
As Max leaves, Jaali calls back, "Farewell! I hope to see you soon as well!" He gives Meadow one last pet before letting her follow Max back out.

Okay. Thanks for clearing that up, Enshi.
Jaali takes a breath and tells his tale to both Enshi and the wizard (Maximillian).
You can refer to my character's backstory for details.
Don't know if this is necessary but I'm making a Diplomacy roll just in case.
Here's hoping! I may be late for some posts due to my work and school schedule. But for the most part, I should be able to post pretty regularly. Just to give you a heads-up.

@Maximillian - Okay. Thanks for clearing that up. Again first time in Pathfinder. But I would like to say that Jaali has the Scion of Humanity racial trait. Meaning that he passes for human. Hell, the idea is that he doesn't know he's an aasimar. Maybe Aroden's influence is making his heritage more noticeable to everyone around except for himself. idk. Didn't think ahead.
To Maximillian
Jaali looks upon the man and gives a small smile. "It's quite alright. Startled me is all. My name is Jaali Vors. Simple farmer of Taldan." Jaali's eyes widen in shock for the umpteenth time at the revelation of the Aroden worshipper in front of him. "You are the second worshipper of Aroden that I'm aware of. Just how many of us are here?" At the mention of his holy symbol, he looks down at it and says, "Thank you. How I got it is quite the story that even I'm having a difficult time believing." He extends his hand to get the bird on the scholar's shoulder to hop on his finger.
Jaali turns his head to the cleric and says, "Technically...yes. But for me, it's very complicated. If I told you my story, you probably wouldn't believe me. Probably think that I'm nuts. By the way, name's Jaali Vors. Pleasure to meet you."

I got to admit that would be interesting and funny to see.
Also, because I'm kind of stupid, why are you making a Knowledge (planes) check on me?

As Jaali continues to converse with Tierce and the Cheliaxian woman, he's taken by surprise when a small bird flies around his head. He tries to shoo the creature frantically and can only stare as the bird flies towards a man with a large tome in his hand. He stares at the man for a few seconds before returning to his conversation.
After he finished his conversation, he politely excuses himself and heads towards the man with the bird on his shoulder with his noticeable limp. When he approaches, he says "Pardon me, but is there a reason why your bird circled around my head?"

To Tierce
"Interesting. So what kinds of things are the Pathfinders interested in? Books? Ruins? Magical items? Also, I heard that Pathfinders are coming into Mendev. May I ask why? Is it because of the Worldwound?"
To Dorotea
Jaali turns to the Cheliaxian woman and addresses her with all the respect that she deserves. "I'm also curious for your name, ma'am. I'm also curious as to your role here as well. If we're to be allies, then we must know what we can to help one another, yes?'

Also, from now on (unless otherwise noted), Jaali's holy symbol is perfectly visible.

Jaali curses under his breath at once again, not being subtle with his symbol. When Tierce motions to Dorotea and Aaliya, he blushes slightly and looks down. When Tierce revealed the tiefling(I'm assuming it's the tiefling he's refering to.) was a worshiper of Aroden, his eyes widen and looks in the tiefling's direction in shock. He then looks at his symbol and uncovers it, not seeing the reason to hide it anymore, and actually making sure it stands out. As Jaali accepts the drink offered by Tierce, he says, "It's not so much as fear of being a heretic that scares me. It's the reason I came to worship Aroden that I fear. For if anyone found out, I might be branded a loon. But you probably don't want to hear my story, do you? I'm rather curious to hear about the Pathfinders. I believe a few came by my farm, but didn't tell me much."

Realizing that the man is a member of the Pathfinders, Jaali decides to go up and introduce himself to him. As Jaali approaches the Pathfinder, he extends his arm towards him and says, "What an honor to meet one of the esteemed Pathfinders and a Taldan at that. My name is Jaali Vors, a pleasure."

BTW, I've forgot to mention, but the Vors family should have some fame in the farming community, due to the fact that they can produce ripen fruit in the off seasons. Don't know if that's going to be used, but it's there.

Hearing these men discuss their ideals, the ideals of their gods, and making grandiose speeches, Jaali stays silent due to how intimidating they are to him. But, hearing all of this begins to build confidence in Jaali, knowing that he will need to fight for his beliefs as well.
Looking over to the newcomer, Jaali relaxes and thinks, Glad to know that I'm not the only Taldan here. But who is he? Jaali notices the strange looking device near the newcomer's blade. What is that? he thinks while getting a closer look and racking his brain to see if he's seen it before when travelers came by his farm for rest, food, or trade or if he's heard of this man before.

To Jens
Jaali looks up at his newfound friend and smiles a geniune smile. As Jens leaves, Jaali thinks to himself, Thank you, friend. May Aroden watch over you and protect you.
To Michael and Aaliyah
As Jaali approaches, he nods slightly in the woman's direction. He then turns to the armored man and says,"Yes, but I would like to know the names of my future companions. Since I'm a simple farmer from Taldor, I know little of this Worldwound. Could you explain the nature of it?" He thens looks towards some of the other patrons and asks, "I also would like to know about some of the other patrons here, specifically the gods they may worship, if they show it. Since I'm not really one for religion, I would like to know." As the man addresses the Cheliaxian woman, he stays silent, looking for any ill intentions from the woman.

As the man address the inn, he looks in awe at the man before him. He seems to be a natural at this. It's almost like second nature to him. After the man finishes his speech, Jaali pauses for a moment in deep thought. He then asks in a hushed whisper, "Could you also tell me what you know of...Aroden?"

Also guys, I made a botched sleight of hand roll to hide my holy symbol when I entered the tavern. I don't know if you want to make a Perception roll, but you can if you want.
Besides Ekeli, is anyone else still finishing up a character?

Nope. My character is pretty much done. I actually had him planned and stated out beforehand (just needed to adjust ability scores and all stats connected to them).

Jaali's eyes widen in shock and horror as he clutches his holy symbol tighter. He knows! What do I do now?! If I tell him, he might think I'm crazy! He snaps out of his shock when the man- Jens - introduces himself and asks his question. "My name is Jaali Vors. I'm from Taldan." He says with a small nervous smile, reaching to shake Jen's hand, gauntled in simple, worn leather in contrast to the finer leather of the man in front of him. His palm is exposed, showing signs of hard labor, tanned and calloused. "Can't say that I've seen a joust before. It sounds like an interesting experience.
At Jens's question, Jaali's brow furrows a bit. "Armasse?", he mutters to himself. A few seconds later, realization flashes across his face. "Oh, the festival! No, my reasons for being here are more...spiritual," he says, hesitating for a moment.
He looks down at the object dangling from his neck, sighs, and lifts it to show Jens his holy symbol. He then regales Jens in a hushed whisper about the events that brought him here. You can see his backstory at my profile. After his tale, he sighs and says in a defeated voice, "I just thought that if anyone saw my symbol, they might think I'm crazy or something of the like. But then again, I'm hearing the voice of the dead God of Humanity, who chose me for no explained reason to be his herald, giving me powers that he hardly explained how to use, never explaining what I need to do other than reestablishing his religion. So here I am, miles away from home, confused and scared, wondering why he chose me, when there are greater and more powerful people he could have chosen. I mean, I'm just a human farmer with the minor ability to make fruit ripen with a touch. I'm not a warrior like you. What am I supposed to do?"
Jaali then realizes his rambling and blushes while saying, "Sorry, I've been rambling about my problems. Heh. I just needed to vent."

The heavy wool garment slings easily over his arm, revealing a broad shield on his broad back, the crudely-painted death spiral chipped and faded after many a beating. A longsword hangs at his hip, with a long hilt to accomodate a large hand, and several marks on the blade - a sword that has seen many years. His hair and beard are both long and thick, both deep gold, both turning grey with age. His height is an impressive 6'4", yet his breadth and bulk are what draws the eye. He sheds his helmet, tucking it under one arm, accidentally bumping a smaller man in the shoulder as he does so (Jaali, since we're entering at about the same time). He mutters an apology, holding up his free hand briefly, then heads to the bar for an ale. Finding few free seats, he elects to stand against a wall as he drinks slowly, looking for all the part like a watchful giant.
Update: When Jaali was entering the inn, he was bumped in shoulder by someone. He turned and stared in shock and awe at the giant of man behind him. He stared at him for a few seconds before realizing that the man apologized. "I-it's quite alright, sir. I wasn't paying attention. New here, you know?" As the man left, he noticed how well armed the man was. From the armor wore to the weapons he wielded, it made the man have an aura of a battled-hardened warrior. He then looks at the quarterstaff in his right hand, his damaged left leg, and his simple, worn leather armor. He then thought to himself, Dear Aroden, what have I gotten myself into?
Also, Jens, I made a crappy sleight of hand roll to hide my holy symbol on my clothes, so I don't know if you would notice it or not.

Arriving noticeably late, Jaali Vors enters the Defender's Heart, straightening his leather armor to appear more respectable to the others. As he enters the inn (noticeably limping), he makes sure his holy symbol is safely hidden under his clothes, so as not to attract any unwanted attention.

Sorry I'm late to this little RP session. Time for a medley of checks.
Looking around, he tries to find the right person to strike a conversation with, ordering an ale from a nearby waitress. After he recieves his ale, he makes a decsion and, strengthning his resolve, approaches the angelic-looking paladin and the young woman he's talking to. When he reaches them, he takes a deep breath, extends his hand, and says, "Hello. My name is Jaali Vors of Taldan. I wanted to make sure I was in the right place and ask some questions to get an idea of what's to come."
This would be Michael and Aaliyah. That I'm approaching. Like I said in the recruitment messageboard, this is my first time. So any help would be appreciated.
