I'll try to make this as simple and contiguous as I can. 1)Phantasmal Killer -School illusion (phantasm) [emotion, fear, mind-affecting]; "If that save fails, the phantasm touches the subject, and the subject must succeed on a Fortitude save or die from fear." 2)From Summoner's Eidolon class feature: "A summoner can summon his eidolon in a ritual that takes 1 minute to perform. When summoned in this way, the eidolon hit points are unchanged from the last time it was dismissed or banished. The only exception to this is if the eidolon was slain, in which case it returns with half its normal hit points. The eidolon does not heal naturally. The eidolon remains until dismissed by the summoner (a standard action). If the eidolon is sent back to its home plane due to death, it cannot be summoned again until the following day. 3)Summon Eidolon Spell: "Treat this as if you had summoned your eidolon normally, except that it only remains with you for the duration of this spell. While summoned in this way, your eidolon cannot touch any creature warded by protection from evil or a similar effect and your eidolon can be sent back to its home plane by dispel magic. If you cast this spell while your eidolon is already on your plane, this spell has no effect. This spell allows you to summon your eidolon even if it has been returned to its home plane due to damage." Both by RAW and RAI, there is a distinction made between being slain by damage and slain by death effects. If the spell was intended to over-ride death effects, it would simply have said "even it is has been returned to its home plane due to death." It seems very clear to me, but beyond the point, I do not have the spell on my list and so there really doesn't matter in the end; especially since I'm the only summoner by class in the game thread and thus the only one affected by it. I'm not too worried about not having my eidolon as I didn't even take my free cohort from leadership since it is just for fluff.

It only ignores death due to damage, not death effects. I'll double check the FAQs, but the spell does it it acts as if you summoned it normally with a few exceptions. Death effects are not one of the exceptions. It seems pretty straight forward to me as it lists the exact exceptions from normal eidolon summoning rules.

It says "Treat this as if you had summoned your eidolon normally, except that it only remains with you for the duration of this spell. While summoned in this way, your eidolon cannot touch any creature warded by protection from evil or a similar effect and your eidolon can be sent back to its home plane by dispel magic...This spell allows you to summon your eidolon even if it has been returned to its home plane due to damage." Took tremorsense into account for the mirror image effect on the demon. The demon has constant true seeing and is immune to the phantasmal killer effect I think. There is one where you roll twice and take worse result (witch) and another that you take a -4 to most d20 rolls and crits auto confirm against you (monster abilties section). HP: 102/140, AC: 21/T: 16/FF: 15, Perception +6, Initiative: +6, F: +11/ R: +16/ W: +20. SR:18 CMB: +16, CMD: 32, Speed: 30 We have been split up into 4 groups. Right now, Ziggles, TTT, and Wilbur are in the lake getting to this temple. Alcarin, Tinkerer, and Alton went to through this white, magic door into some kind of maze. Oom and the NPC halfling went into the building and down holes made for very small folk. Ivanna is currently looking at this aberration that looks like a tree. Each of the four groups are a different task that involves stopping or taking control of some device. The device, from what I gather, is/used to create/summon some kind of BBEG(s) (I'm guessing here). There are some fights taking place as well at some of the locations (Like underwater). We needed only up to 3 people at each site. If you can make yourself small, you can catch up to Oom and the NPC. Otherwise, you are free to join me or just do your own thing like set-up a lawn chair and catch a few drinks while watching the show. XD

Knowledge Dungeoneering: 1d20 + 34 ⇒ (16) + 34 = 50 "This is definitely no plant! It must be some strange aberration," Ivanna says out loud, mostly for herself. Going to wait until I know more about the aberrant "tree". Mostly Because I'm alone with two creatures that are only about a CR 13 and 16. Gotta be cautious for now.

HP: 102/140, AC: 21/T: 16/FF: 15, Perception +6, Initiative: +6, F: +11/ R: +16/ W: +20. SR:18 CMB: +16, CMD: 32, Speed: 30 Realized I made a couple mistakes. Since Aiden is in Ivanna's backpack, I think she loses Alterness. Also, I had Oneiros's perception as a +13, but he has 15 ranks +3 from class skill, so it should be +18. Ivanna's Perception Check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Ivanna would have walked directly into the vine laiden path if it not for Oneiros stopping her. "Why have you stopped me so aburptly?" Ivanna exlcaimed to Oneiros. "Forgive me, my queen, but there are strange things coming out from the under the tree, said Oneiros to Ivanna. Spending a moment to bond her senses with Oneiros, Ivanna took a better look to see what he was talking about. Ivanna's Perception with 1 round of Bond Senses: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (2) + 18 = 20
"Besides the fact that it is blackened, I do not believe this is any normal tree. Be prepared, all of you," Ivanna tells all three of her companions. Knowledge(Nature) check to identify the tree/vines: 1d20 + 34 ⇒ (12) + 34 = 46 Ivanna's Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 Ivanna draws her her Greater Quickened Metamagic Rod while Oneiros draws all six of his rods for battle. Aiden comes out of hiding, at first afraid, but feeling more comfortable when he sees the huge demon Ivanna summoned.

We have a couple of people on stand-by, but it would be a good place to also post your character concept and application. Maybe we will see you in the game thread down the road! :)

HP: 102/140, AC: 21/T: 16/FF: 15, Perception +6, Initiative: +6, F: +11/ R: +16/ W: +20. SR:18 CMB: +16, CMD: 32, Speed: 30 "Alone again... finally!" thought Ivanna; her thoughts betraying her true emotions. Fearing being without company, especially in dangerous times, she immediately set to work to summon another bodyguard. Calling out out into the abyss, fell magics summoned forth just the creature she would need. One to stand watch and be difficult to take down, Ivanna summoned forth a Glabrezu Demon to do her bidding. She would extend his contract until this unforseen threat was overcome. Ivanna has casted Summon Monster XI from her Wizard prepared list. Burn spells left and right, lol. Going to have this duration be permanent as per my capstone, but will dismiss it once the forseen threat from the encounter(s) is over. Ivanna has the Augment Summoning feat, so it has an additional +2 Att/DMG/CMB/CMD, and +24 HP. Going to assume HP is normal and not maxed like the PCs. The demon has a constant True Seeing effect. Upon the arrival of her new minion, Ivanna commands the demon, "Use your Mirror Image effect and keep a look out for me. Your eyes as better than mine. I do not know what threat we face, but I am sure it is one that will require all our efforts."
