Card size, I'm get used to use card sleeves. I'd love to know card size in order to have ready their sleeves.
Thank you!
How do you manage when 3 or 4 creatures/players have the same initiative?
I think that in 2e they are simultaneous.

This isn't about impatience, it's about making sure the end product is the best it can be. Stopping taking all feedback at the playtest and doing everything else behind closed doors and only telling us what's going on when it's a done deal, would be a big mistake. For example, Resonance was widely rejected, Focus...
I'm not following you. I don't see where they are saying they are going to cease taking feedback.
The bit at the end about sharing more of the final version of the game.
'Final' implies they're done already, which seems weird.
'More' implies they've already shared parts of the final game, which is... surprising. I don't really see that, because 'sharing more of the final version' only implies that they WILL be sharing more of the final version; it does not state when. Further, we already know that there WILL be a point where they are done with development on one or more parts, and at that point they'll start sharing it.
And they already have shared parts of the final game -- a large amount of the playtest material WILL be in the final game, but we already knew that. Even considering silly basics such as classes, levels, and stats, it's accurate, and assuming they are definitely keeping the concept of ancestries, and spell slot heightens, and stronger cantrips, and the three action system, all of these parts seemed to be widely praised, and there's no reason they wouldn't be in the final.
In all, not saying Voss is doing this here, but reading into their statements more than is there will only lead to people misunderstanding, claiming Paizo lied about something or other, or situations where due to a messed-up game of Telephone, posters four months from now SWEAR that they read a Paizo employee writing that the game... I hope that, cos I'd love to keep updating PF2 easy Tools and PF2 easy Actions Tree.

Penn wrote: The new Dying rules intro says you are no longer slowed after having the Dying condition, you get Wounded instead.
The Unconscious rules on the next page still have you slowed after being unconscious.
I'm presuming that this is in error and the Slowed part of the Unconscious rules should not apply? Currently recovering from Dying gives you Wounded and recovering from Unconscious gives you Slowed. Can you be Dying without being Unconscious?
Look at this:
Dying process sheet

Errata 1.3 wrote: The GM sets the DC of your recovery saving throw when you’re knocked out. This DC is equal to the DC of the spell or ability that dropped you plus your current dying value.
If damage that reduced you to 0 Hit Points came from something that doesn’t have a DC, such as an attack roll, use the attacker’s class DC. Though a class DC usually includes the key ability modifier for a character’s class, the GM might sometimes decide a different ability score is appropriate; for example, a wizard’s class DC usually uses Intelligence, but if he knocks someone out with his staff, the DC might use Strength or Dexterity. For monsters, the GM will use a high difficulty skill DC of the monster’s level (see page 336).
So you can split the process in two parts:
- 1. What brought you to 0 HP?
__a) Spell, power, hazard, ability that needed you to roll against a DC. The consequences of that roll sent you to 0 HP.
__b) Attack roll from a NPC
__c) Attack from a Monster -
- 2. Calculate the Recovery Saving Throw DC
__a) RST DC = Same DC + current dying value
__b) RST DC = Attacker's class DC (10+Lvl+NPC key ability) + current dying value (it's not in the text above)
__c) RST DC = high hard difficulty skill DC of the monster’s level + current dying value (it's not in the text above)
In bold what I think that is missing.
I would gladly thank more examples on this subject...
MY QUESTION:
Errata 1.3 wrote: A hard skill DC, the most common in the game, represents something that an average commoner might not try but that adventurers attempt frequently. This DC challenges even characters who have strongly focused on the skill and can often be overcome by a character who has increased their modifier or proficiency rank. A character who’s really strong in the skill starts at around a 50% chance of succeeding but ends up almost certain to succeed at higher levels. Bolded text means, that higher level characters are certainly going to succeed the RST. Is that their intention?
Fuzzy-Wuzzy wrote: At the end of your turn.
page 306, Step 3: End Your Turn wrote: • If you have a persistent damage condition, you take the damage at this point. You also attempt any saves for your afflictions at this time. Many other conditions change at the end of your turn, such as the frightened condition decreasing in severity.
So, if you receive the attack and fail the save roll entering stage 1, you can, just after the attack (your turn), fail again and enter stage 2 before 1 round has passed, can't you?
You're hit by a weapon with poison.
When you are hit, you make a fortitude save throw, and you fail.
The poison has no onset time, so you immediately enter stage 1, and you take its effects.
If the duration of the stage 1 is 1 round, when do you make the second save?
1. When does it start your turn?
2. When does it end your turn?
3. When is the foe, that hit you, turn?
Might anyone help me?

I wanted to list some web places I find really handy to playtest.
I really appreciate if you add more web sites that can help playtest the game.

Is there an already made pdf download of cards for conditions, or do you think paizo would care if I made specialized game cards for all the conditions (through a service, not myself) ... I figure it will be something that Paizo eventually comes out with, but waiting a year for it is alot of slow role-playing? What are your thoughts?
Also... anyone else think that the Doppelganger being a humanoid is a bad idea? Seems like that makes the humanoid Shape spell pretty damn powerful. Maybe, I missed an errata or am over-thinking the ability to mimic anyones form and read minds.
Try this. Handy tool that you can use with your mobile. No need for heavy PDFs. Free and really useful.

Found this. It's a work in progress.
I've finished the simple web application. I've just added all the spells.
I do not intend to make a PF2 srd. It's more an action searcher. Faster and more direct.

Hi there,
I've been working with a free web application that it can help you to look for your needed action.
It's simple and easy. Includes all the feats within the playtest rulebook.
I need your feedback, because I want to improve it.
Paizo guys, is it legal? If it is not, I can kill the application and use it personally.

Thanks in advance

I saw that AoO has a fighter trait entry...I assume then that A rogue cannot AoO!!
AoO gets me confused. Some monsters have an AoO entry as a reaction, for example Skeletal Champion. But the regular Skeleton does not show the AoO entry. Does that mean that a normal Skeleton is not able to AoO?
Can anyone help me?

Googleshng wrote: So, a lot of people are looking at that Precise Strike deed that Swashbucklers (and others) get access to, and flipping out at how much of a huge damage boost it seems to be. Let's break down real quick how it isn't.
From the level at which it comes online, you're adding your level to damage on all your hits. On top of that you've got the base damage for the rapier you're basically forced to use, your strength bonus, and whatever feats and class features you have to stack on extra damage (weapon training, precise strike, etc.) Rapiers also have an 18-20 crit range, which is always nice.
Let's compare that now to someone using a good ol' two-handed falchion, which is also an 18-20 crit range, and say we have the same feats.
First off, we have the actual dice involved. 1d6 vs. 2d4. Those average out to 3.5 damage per hit, and 5 damage per hit respectively. So that's -1.5 damage to the rapier user so far.
Next comes strength. You add your str mod to the rapier, but 2x str mod to the falchion. -1 potential damage for every 4 points of strength.
Power attack works along the same principle. Assuming we've got a full BAB character and we're really chasing damage, it's a no brainer feat, and we have that same ratio. 2 damage per 4 BAB with the rapier, 3 with the falchion.
So here's how much str you need at each level to outperform the precise strike deed (by that half a point there) at each level, vs. someone with the same str, assuming you're power attacking:
1: 8 (Precise Strike has yet to kick in, dice alone are a huge deal, no power attack here)
2: 8
3: 14 (Precise Strike is now online, assume we're both power attacking now)
4: 14 (PA edge just jumped to +2)
5: 18 1.5 2 2
6: 22 1.5 3 2
7: 26 1.5 4 2
8: 26 (PA edge hits +3)
9: 30 1.5 5 3
10: 34 1.5 6 3
11: 38 1.5 7 3
12: 38 (PA edge hits +4)
13: 42
14: 46
15: 50
16: 50 (it's +5)
17: 54
18: 58
19: 62
20: 62 (and again)
Now, putting it in these terms makes it look like a huge deal. Nobody's ever going to get their str up...
And what about an inspired blade archetype swashbuckler with power attack and precise strike at the same time wielding a rapier? ;)

Help people... I added the Power Attack option, and I think its OK... Would you mind to see if it is ok?
Millions of thanks!!

Sorry Guys, I've been very busy!!!
Wow, Sorry about the paypal donation, I'm going to insert a red cross to exit that window. And remember that if you click outside that window you exit.
Power Attack and Improved Natural Attack are in my mind... but I've run out of free time, so it'll take me time to do it. Be patient!!
I'll check that phantom +1.
Thanks for your suggestions XD

Yeah you put in the actual items or just put in a way for players to enter "deflections bonuses", "dodge bonuses", and so on. I think the ability to enter a number under a bonus type is better. If you put try to have them select every item and spell it will actually take longer since you will need to list certain spells since they improve with caster level, and some magic items also improve if you buy the more expensive version. If you allow them to just choose a number it is less work for you and less searching for them.
I think that I've just done it!
I'm gamemastering with a druid character, and I've been seeing how important is to shapechange quickly!!!

First of all, thanks in advance.
I'm missing something with this... Damage is Strength based, so a 18 str Druid means +4 in damage and Beast Shape III says that Huge creatures have +6 Strength in a total of +7 in Damage.
I'd love you to tell me where that +10 comes from. When a monster only has one natural attack it does str mod X 1.5.
7 x 1.5=10(rounded down) Wow, another rule I missed XD I think that I can fix that.
Thank you!
Already fixed guys :D

There is no way to account for magic items such as a +2 amulet of mighty fist.
I also notice you have AC listed, but there is no way to account for the wildshape armor that a druid might have. Thank you, wraithstrike. I put AC, in order to reflect the size and Dexterity bonus changes in the Druid transformation. Sometimes there are too many bonuses to track in order to get the correct total. In the number shown, I assumed that Druid looses the armor and shield bonuses.
I think (correct me, if not) that is missing all the items and spells bonuses...is that ok?
I could put a tab with magical objects/magical effects(from spells) that could modify the AC (protection rings, wild armors, etc)

For example: Tiger.
A normal Tiger has rake and pounce.
A 6th Level Druid can transform to a Large Animal (Tiger) plus it can have pounce hability as Beast Shape II says.
Then when a 8th Lvl Druid transforms to a Tiger, can the Druid have Rake hability as Beast Shape III says?
Another example:
A 4th Lvl druid can transform to a dire Rat and as Beast Shape I says it can have Climb movement, 30 feet.
But when the Druid is 6th Lvl, when that druid transforms to a rat, will he have Climb movement, 60 feet? And when the druid is 8th level, will he transform to a fast 90 feet climb dire rat?
Just wondering, thanks in advance!!
I'm afraid that the buiding as it is described in the map is quite unstable.
I've made a video with a 3-D animation of the building. I've tried to follow the building dimensions and the stairs position among floors.
