If it matters, that is how I have always ruled it as well, and that includes for the bad guys as well.

That said, I am fine with however you run it, as long as it is done the same way for both sides, and we know how it is being done.

"However, I do see your point, Jernashall. One should honor their obligations, at least when it is practical. Raseri Kanton does have a point about perhaps the time has passed. If it has been so long that generations upon generations have been born, and died, I don't know how you could ever deliver your messages. I expect that you don't have contacts in the Boneyard, so your only chance is happenstance.

"However, you could help travelers that will be newly coming. We of the Pathfinder Society will be traveling through these grounds, and with a higher frequency. Being able to help these travelers and explorers would be a service that would be highly valued."

The dwarf named Ingmar does not appear to be your typical dwarf. The long hair and beard is probably not too unusual, and neither are the earth tones that make up his wardrobe. The fact that he has a clan pistol strapped to his belt, well, that isn't common, at least not around here.

There is a feeling of weight around Ingmar, as if he represents more than just the dwarves, but the very stone that is used in all aspect of dwarven life. This is offset by the sprigs of mistletoe he seems to have situated around his body... tied into his hair and bear, worn as an amulet, and so on.

Stone Druid 2 ... pretty decent with medicine (and I have tools!), and I usually have a heal spell memorized. I also have Healing Plaster so that can cover a second set of healing tools (for me, or anyone else)

Of note, since he is from Dongon Keep, with his Dwarven Weapons feat, he is able to use a clan pistol (though not that well, though!). More color than anything, and he's more likely to use spells for his attacks. He is a casting druid, so doesn't have an AC, nor does he wild shape.

John, are you making sure to note that your backpack (assuming you have one) carries 2 bulk that doesn't count against your carrying capacity? I know it is something often missed.
